    Waiting for biryani be like

My husband & I dined here for the first time and we had a great time. We got seated right away and our server was very attentive. Food arrived in about 20 minutes and everything tasted really good. We were glad that we chose the dishes recommended by our server. My favorite was the Chicken Dum Biryani and hubby's was the Goat Curry. Parking lot is huge, ambience is super casual and I recommend it for date nights.

The food was VERY good. I want to make that clear before I continue. I feel I should start with the most important thing: I ordered chicken saag, and I received what I presume was lamb (picture attached) but I am still not sure, as nothing was said. While it tasted great, I was not informed of this before, during, or after receiving my meal. I didn't notice until I took my first bite that it was not chicken, and if I were someone with a red meat allergy (which I have a close friend with,) it could have ended very badly. This really put me off, but again, it tasted good, and I also did not want to wait any longer for my food & I was already feeling uncomfortable in this restaurant, so I just ate it. As mentioned in the previous bit, I felt very uncomfortable here. We were made to pay before even receiving our food, and while that's perfectly fine, she had requested us to fill out the tip portion and be done with it at the very beginning as well. Before this, I had ordered both their Bullet Naan as well as Chicken Saag, and I requested for the entree to be hot; when ordering both of those dishes, I was made to feel wrong for asking those to be hot. I do understand that people will complain that their food is too hot very often, especially white people (which I am,) but I do absolutely *love* spicy food and when given the option I order my food with the highest level of spice. The saag I received I do not believe was actually made to be hot, as the Bullet Bread was much spicier than the dish I received. Each item we ordered was also charged as $1 above the price listed on the menu, and I did not like the lack of transparency with that. Another thing that bothered me a lot was the woman who had taken our order stood very close to our table the entire time we were eating, and I felt weird talking about the food at all (especially the mishap with the meat) while she was standing basically right over my shoulder. Overall, I did not enjoy the vibe of this place whatsoever. I am here on vacation, and I had come here on a craving, but I would not recommend dining in here. That being said, the Bullet Naan is ABSOLUTELY a menu highlight, and I do very much recommend getting it. I would order online as opposed to going in because, again, the food is great. I can't say one thing bad about the flavor.

The dishes are plentiful and made with the freshest ingredients. This place does not cut corners on flavor, quality of meat, or presentation. Amazing dishes we tried chicken tikka masala, lamb rogen josh, vegetable pikora, warm and crispy garlic naan. The prices are affordable and the portions are plentiful. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or date night. The owner is very friendly he comes around and talks to his regulars and introduces himself to his new customers. The experience is memorable.

Here is a list of what we ordered: Lamb saag Basil pomegranate martini Bhindi masala Dirty martini Sangria Chicken biryani Samosa Papadam Mango lassi gelato for dessert All dishes and drinks were enjoyable. The food was nicely, displayed, prepared and hot very hot and delicious. Hot as in heat, not hot as some spicy because we didn't order it that way. this place came highly recommended by another Indian restaurant. So you know it had to be good. If I could just change one thing, it would be to take out the big seats that are in the Kashmir chicken. But otherwise everything was good. The rifle was fluffy and delicious. The cheese Nan bread was gooey gooey and my Kashmir chicken just had the right amount of spice. My husband had the birani chicken that he could've eaten for days, but it was so delicious thar He ate it in one sitting

We saw only a few items , but costing $20+ per person and we were 4 of us. All the food trays were empty and the food was served cold while it was 12 noon. We checked with the manager about this and asked if they could serve the food hot. We didn't get a very positive response but he kept saying the food is hot. We had started eating and were in dilemma to continue eating or just pay and leave. Finally we were frustrated and decided to leave the place. We asked for the bill, and he charged us for two people originally and charged it to one person. We paid the bill and left the place. I didn't want to post this, that's why it took me about 3-4 weeks. But I still wanted to put it out there so that they can take the customers bit seriously for the food they serve and the money they charge. While they run their business to earn dollars they should think that even the customers that visit them work hard thru the week and just want to spend some good time with their family on a weekend, and they pay from their hard earned money. So it's mutual. Don't take your customers for granted, and serve them whatever in the name of Indian food. This is nowhere Indian both in terms of taste or service. Please change your restaurant name anything but India., because I know you are not an Indian restaurant.
