If you don't ask for toasted, they will not toast it; they also charge for toasting. A plain cream cheese toasted bagel is roughly 3$. Sadly, they do not have deals for a dozen bagels like most places. Their service can be fast or slow, depending on the worker. Comes with fried chicken, bacon, lettuce, mayo, some sauce and is incredibly deadly delicious. Also got a Whole Wheat Everything with regular cream cheese. It was delicious, even when not toasted. The only confusing part was how much it costs to get special cream cheeses on your bagel (Jalapeno-cheddar/etc.), so I wasn't able to try that. Second time I came here, got a French Toast Bagel with butter and cream cheese. This was super-rich and good. If you're a breakfast person, definitely try this combo. It's awesome. read more

What I noticed immediately when I walked in is that the service is definitely less than stellar...Now I know that Dyker Heights is mainly an Italian community and that Italian servers can be a little rough around the edges but the service here was definitely not good. The guy that took my order had a pissed off face the whole time and seemed rather nonchalant. Another guy that works there seemed a little nicer. I ordered the Chicken Ridiculous on an everything bagel ($7.50) and it came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, tomato, bacon, lettuce, and mayo. What I noticed when I ordered it was that the guy took the sandwich out of the fridge and just microwaved it for a minute so it is definitely pre-made (but for how long??? that is the question...) It definitely was a big portion and it did taste good, but it seems like a sandwich that I can easily make at home for a fraction of the price. I have to admit though, I thought the everything bagel was delicious! Overall, I didn't like the service here at Dyker Park Bagels and I did not find anything particularly special about the Chicken Ridiculous. I walked in, there's a line of 4-5 customers and there's no one behind the cash register, no one behind the counter, just a lady making a sandwich while hiding in the corner. Wish it was closer, used to come here a lot in 2016. They have fresh warm bagels, a quick staff and great sandwiches too. We always got the everything bagel whole wheat with cream cheese light both sides and tomato, and we would order ahead for pick up as lines can get long. Parking is limited and tricky since a bus stop is out front so dont park there and get a ticket, or that will be one expensive bagel! The bagels are soft and fluffy and pretty big and have a great crust. I also got a Chicken redic bagel sandwich which although unhealthy was some form of heaven in the form of breaded chicken cutlet and cheese and tasty greens. Will def be back to visit! read more
