Marissa is absolutely amazing. she always leaves my hair looking and feeling beautiful, and I get compliments every time. The salon itself is clean, welcoming, and has such a relaxing atmosphere. Everyone who works there is incredibly kind, and the owner always makes you feel at home by checking in to see if you need anything. They even have a cute coffee station and complimentary drinks, which is such a nice touch. After speaking with Ligia I asked her if she had time to do my hair, she said yes! She was so thorough in explaining what she was going to do and what (to help fix my hair). I needed to make a last-minute appointment day-of since I flew into town for a film premiere, and Dylan Keith had the best reviews, location, and availability for the time I needed. It's probably the nicest hair salon I've ever been to in terms of customer care and cleanliness; a beautiful location with easy street parking along the side. Olivia took fantastic care of me and made sure to tailor my hair to the needs of the event -- asking about my dress and look, suggesting a style that complimented me (more volume for fine hair), and she was such a warm and friendly stylist that it made the experience delightful. My shoulder-length hair was about $65 for a wash + blow dry + flatiron curls. Had an absolutely wonderful last-minute appointment with Joli- from the moment I walked in I felt welcomed by the receptionist who offered me water and called the stylist to find out when he was coming in and let me know. He was actually early and very accommodating and extraordinarily knowledgeable about hair and how to keep a style in for a long time. Jay was the most talented highlight/balayage specialist I have been to. She is warm and very responsive when you need to communicate outside of the salon hours. She is a personable professional. My hair never looked so good! Also, I asked her to give me more of a bang shag and she found the perfect cut to frame my face. What I don't like is how crazy expensive this place always is. This was the absolute worst salon experience of my life. it was very traumatic. it took me years to grow out my hair and Kristin, the owner, butchered it! She does not know how to cut hair. I can't even begin to describe how traumatic it is to have someone ruin your hair as much as she ruined mine. I wanted a trim. it only was it so u even that she had to get her coworker to fix it, but she cut the back of my hair three inches shorter and hoped I wouldn't notice. a thin the top layer was still longer and she brushed it over and hoped I wouldn't notice that just beneath the surface, a four inches wide segment of my hair was three inches shorter. I was so traumatized from the whole experience, that I left in haste and actually didn't notice the back until I got home. I was in tears. I have to lose three inches just to even it all out. She's horrible. It's unethical. Shame on her and her coworker who clearly noticed the back and didn't say anything either. It's unethical. Shame on you. She needs to have her licensed revoked. She cannot cut a piece of paper much less someone's hair. It's not right. Please do not go to her salon. read more

Through a Google search we found Dylan Keith Salon and the rest is history. If I wrote every detail of everything that happened that night - it would be a novel. He has made myself , my Mom , and Mother in law all look and feel our best . I also really appreciate his care and gentle approach to preserving hair quality and even improving it . Why isn't there an option for ZERO stars? Apparently, I'm not the only one with a terrible experience here. Stay away from Alyssa Seder and the owner. Alyssa already has other bad reviews on Google; I wish I had seen them before I went to her. I went to get my highlights touched up and ended up with the worst experience ever. Just three days before a crucial business trip to Europe, Alyssa messed up my hair. I took pictures the next morning, as soon as I noticed the issue, and had to go back on two different days for her to try to fix it. All she did was put more toner in my hair, which changed the color I wanted, and still didn't fix the issue. I had to go on my trip (July 13th) with a very embarrassing hairstyle. The highlights were so uneven, there was a chunk with no color at all, and there were many missed spots and orange patches. I couldn't even put my hair up in a ponytail. After returning to the US on July 31st, I texted Alyssa today, August 1st, asking for a refund. She refused, claiming it had already been 30 days, which isn't true, and became rude and disrespectful. She said that the only reason I want a refund is that I just came back from my trip and need money... seriously??? I would have asked for a refund even if I spent $10 which is what this horrible job is worth at most. She even tried to blame the issue on the water I used in Europe, which supposedly washed away the toner--WHAT??? She mentioned the two times I had to go back for her to fix it and how she gave me two $85 services for free. Seriously? You messed up my hair, and you make it sound like you were doing me a favor. I thought maybe the salon owner could help, but I was wrong. She blamed the issue on my natural brown hair color, which has never been a problem in the past 20 years of getting my hair done. She offered to add more highlights but couldn't have been more dismissive and did not take any responsibility of the issue on hand. Why would I trust them with my hair after three failed attempts? I got my hair done by Jenny D. I asked for a color correction. It was so bad that I was genuinely in shock for about 30mins after. I had previously bleached my hair and my roots were a bit orange so I went to get my roots dyed brown so it would fade into a blonde. She dyed my entire head brown and added random highlights i did not ask for. It turned out nothing like the picture. I have prom in a week and my hair is too damaged to do anything. I am devastated and unsure of what to do. read more
