Above and beyond - a GE refrigerator broke down late last night, and I called Dynamic Repair early this morning. They were able to send someone to take a look at the refrigerator on the same day, and amazingly, actually sent someone within 45 minutes of our initial call. Amir was our repairman, and he was professional, polite, and extremely knowledgeable. After a few diagnostic tests (taking about ten minutes), he found out that one of the internal thermometers were fried. He was then able to replace the thermometer and melt all of the ice (using a heavy-duty heat gun) on the coils within 20 minutes. All that was needed was to change the part, but Amir went above and beyond to ensure that we could get the correct temperature as soon as possible, thereby saving a huge freezer-ful of food. Having to replace the food would have been daunting and expensive, and so we were absolutely grateful for everything that Amir was able to do for us. Melissa was our initial contact, and she was very professional, empathetic, and helpful. I read several reviews (both positive and negative) about Dynamic Appliance Repair, and am so grateful that we had such a positive experience with these guys. I have a 10 year old Sub Zero and it was letting the food get warm. I called another repair company and their serviceman came and told me one of the compressors was bad and it was going to cost about $1800 plus tax to fix. I just didn't think he was right about that. I asked a neighbor who fixes their Sub Zero and they told me about Dynamic Appliance Repair. So I called Dynamic and they sent Ameer out to see what was going on. He said whats the problem. I only told him the food was getting warm. I didn't mention what the other guy had said. He examined my Sub zero carefully and told me the problem was the condenser coil was badly clogged and needed cleaning. It was making my compressor work harder and causing it to not cool properly. He said he would clean it for me. He also examined the compressors and checked the gas levels for me. Ameer told me that my compressors were okay but I need to clean the condenser every six months and showed me how to vacuum it carefully. Its easy to do. He did say that if I had let the problem continue that it could cause the compressor to go and that would be expensive to fix but regular cleaning will make it run for many years with no problems. I saved a lot of money and it works beautifully. I will call them again if I ever have an appliance problem. read more

The lady who answered my phone call was very courteous and efficient. We set up a time for my dryer repair and Amir arrived on time, with a call-ahead that he was en route. He was probably the quickest, most courteous, careful and honest repairman I have ever dealt with. He explained and showed the cause of my dryer problems and was very efficient and it was obvious that he took pride in doing a good job. I never get excited about repair work, but on this occasion, I was actually uplifted by the caliber of work done and would recommend this company for any major appliance repair. This is how all companies should be run. For the very few who gave bad reviews, such as a lady with a sleeping baby, etc., I was not there, so don't know what actually happened to cause a complaint, but I hope she and the other negative reporters give this outfit another chance. I've used Dynamic on three two occasions first fir my oven a second time for my washing machine. What impressed me right away was their integrity. I needed new oven knobs. So instead of the Dynamic repair guy ordering the knobs I needed, they told me to order the knobs myself and put then on. It would be cheaper. To me that's honesty. They didn't try to make a simple repair and make ti into a bigger bill for me. The same thing happened my washing machine. A simple fix that required me to pay I think a $40 appearance. These guys are honest and that to me that's just as important as knowledge and professionalism. These are my go to guys for appliance repair. read more

I called Dynamic Appliance Reoair and left them a message on a Sunday. They returned my call right away on Monday morning and sent Ricardo out that very day. Ricardo was so polite, introduced himself before entering my home, and used shoe protectors and a mat to protect the floor while working on my washing machine. The issue was due to a build up of mold inside the machine! A quick cleaning and the problem was resolved! No gimmicks to replace parts! And he recommended a product I can purchase from the store to run a cleaning cycle once a year or so to keep the machine sanitized. From now on Dynamic will be my go to for all things appliance! When everything melted in my freezer, I checked the reviews and happily found Dynamic Appliance Repair. I loved that a real live person answered the phone and was able to schedule an appointment for that day.In fact, they called to see if they could come earlier!! The part was ordered and my refrigerator was quickly fixed! So when my oven stopped working, I called Dynamic right away. I had trouble, everything was warm and i called another company and their guy came and looked at my refrigerator and gave me a song and dance about it being old and he wanted more than a new fridge would cost to fix it so i told him good bye. I called Dynamic as a neighbor said they are nearby and very good. Their technician showed up and had my refrigerator humming in about 20 minutes. No song and dance, no BS, just fixed it and it cost me very little. He said my fridge was only 6 years old and that parts are plentiful. The tech that showed up at my house was professional and well mannered. He could have told us that our refrigerator was broken and could have charged hundreds of dollars to repair it which we would have happily paid to avoid paying a couple thousand dollars buying a new one. He pointed out a knob in the freezer that is often turned off by accident in my brand of appliance, turned it on and said that was the problem. In response to A L's review posted on 8/9/2017 about being quoted two different prices. The higher amount that she is mentioning is an additional amount of $23.44 which is her New York State Sales Tax on her completed stove repair. She refused to pay the taxes only after the repair was completed at which point the technician agreed to pay the taxes for her in order to move on to his next service call.
