If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went in and waited over an hour and a half from my appointment time before being seen. When I asked the front receptionist, they said it was going to be another 45 minutes. I had to reschedule due to another appointment. I go in on the scheduled day and they said I'm not on the schedule and they can't see me for another week. I have children and have to arrange child care and it's not the easiest thing! Absolutely horrible behavior. I was recommended this place by a friend. However, as I'm waiting to be checked In, I couldn't help but oversee & overhear how bad the owner treats her staff. The sweet young gal that helped me , told me that she's even worse when customers aren't around. I don't care how "good" you think that you are, you should always treat others with the same respect you wish to be shown. Needless to say, I went elsewhere. My family and I have been patients here for approx 12 years. I called to schedule annual eye exams for my husband and I. After a "brief 3 min hold" I provided our information to include last name and my DOB. After another "brief" hold I was told she needed to verify my insurance, which has not changed. I was then told rather nonchalantly she could not find my file. I asked did you look under both of our information, mind you I did not provide my husband's DOB. And I know our insurance is under my information. No other suggestions, no offers of help, nothing. Guess it's time to find a new optometrist. Easy to get an appointment & nice, friendly staff. But, a little disappointed because I ordered glasses at the beginning of October with a ETA of 10/23. I called them on 10/27 to check on the status & was told that an automated message went out about my glasses pick up on 10/15. I don't know what happened to the text message but I did not receive one. Even then the company had my glasses ready for almost 2 weeks for pickup and nobody contacted me. Doesn't feel good to spend money at an establishment then feel forgotten about. It takes away from the excitement of getting new frames. read more

I phoned to schedule an eye exam and was told three times they would call me back after checking insurance. I have always paid out of pocket and they are on the expensive side. Dr. Chow is THE eye doctor you want to see in Vegas. Super knowledgeable, honest with you, and will patiently answer all your questions. Everyone on her staff I dealt with was friendly, helpful, and very efficient. My entire visit ran like a well oiled machine starting with me being seen right on time and ending with Emilio helping me pick frames and lenses. I LOVE THIS OFFICE!!! My 12 year old daughter and myself came here for eye exams and to get some much needed new frames and lenses. Dr. Chow is very knowledgeable and patient. She answered all questions from myself and my preteen. My daughter was able to find some really cute Kate Spade frames and it took about 2.5-3 weeks for them to come back. I waited a little while to order mine, 11/29 to be exact and they were ready for pick up exactly 2 weeks later on 12/13!! I cannot remember the lady name who helped me on 11/29 but she was super patient and kind by helping me find frames that fit my face. I appreciate that SO MUCH because without my prescription in the lenses, I cant really tell on my own how the glasses really look. I have told my grandma and aunts to come here and now anyone who compliments me on my frames will also hear about Dynamic Eye Care. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE AND REASON FOR 4 STARS INSTEAD OF 5 IS: No provider to treat small children who are 4 years old. My youngest child needs glasses and I would loveeeee if she was able to be seen here. read more

When he asked the receptionist, or whoever was working that evening, if they accepted his insurance plan, the lady responded, "Medicaid?" Updated review: I've actually came back after I said I wasn't. There's new staff who were super nice, compared to the old staff. Nothing has changed since my last visit, except the front desk lady (she's not there anymore) who didn't accept my insurance which was accepted this time and 2 times before she declined it, weird! The service provided by the doctor and staff for an eye exam is great! I'd give them 5 stars but when it comes to the front staff that you have to deal with for glasses I'd give 0 stars. They are salesman and try to push a lot of extra to you. The time it takes to get a pair of glasses is super slow. Every other place I've used before can get my glasses to me 1-2 weeks quicker than this place does. The last 3 times I've gotten glasses for my kids here I've had to call them to see if the glasses were in and they were in every time but I never got a call to come get them. This last time I came in to pick up my glasses that I didn't get called for and had to wait over 30 minutes after signing in just for someone to grab my child's glasses for me. Overall I would recommend this place for your exam but get your prescription and go elsewhere for your lenses. read more

They charge a service fee for PD dist numbers by saying is not part of the prescription. In fact this is wrong! If they do charge you, file a complaint with the Nevada AG office! No part of the prescription to include the PD numbers should be charged; only the exam (it should be one fee!). Opticians (technicians) can not add to a prescription by putting pd numbers when the prescription has PD number area to mark and is part of a prescription! Opticians do fitting for glasses there not Ophthalmologists so if you see the verbiage in these articles and below where it talks about "diameter", those measurements should be on any prescription from an Ophthalmologist! I have been coming here for years and this last visit made me never want to come back here again. I came in for my yearly knowing I needed new glasses. I did the eye exam but the minute the doctor came in, she started talking really fast and started spewing recommendations out as if she was a salesperson. I felt like I was dealing with a used cars salesman because they were trying to upsale me on so many unnecessary things. They try talking really fast so you don't have a second to think and make a decision. What did it for me was when the guy who was doing my glasses fitting said "I'm just trying to save you money" when I just told him I want glasses and I just need the contact prescription. Everyone who wears contacts knows that they completely rip you on the price and you can buy them in bulk online for cheaper. He was going over my insurance and while I am doing actual numbers in my head, he's trying to tell me I will lose my benefits towards contacts. I came so close to not even getting glasses and was about to ask for just the prescriptions and get my glasses somewhere else. read more

I moved here from the east coast December 2021. Needed stronger sunglasses early 2022. Came to Dynamic because they're right up the Parkway from my home. Dr. Chow and the entire staff were fantastic. Just had 2 appointments for my husband and myself on September 28th. Both needed new prescription eyeglasses. Again Dr. Chow and the staff were great! Awaiting our new eyeglasses now. The staff is nice. But be prepared for pressure in them selling more exams that aren't necessary, to include additional eyewear features and so much more. It was quite annoying to say the least. If you say no, they'll keep trying with another staff member all the way to the optometrist. I thought it was just me but I heard a lady ( while at the front area upset) because they added on extra exams for her teenage daughter that she didn't have time let alone want to pay for. read more

I regret not just waiting for my normal optometrist. My daughter scratched my lenses on my glasses and I needed a new script to get a new pair ASAP. My normal office was a month out for appointments. So I was a bit desperate. I called to make an appointment and they offered me one 15 minutes from then. That should have been a red flag I guess. But cool. I can make it. I get there and I'm taken back right away. Only after the receptionist argued with me about who my insurance provider is. Anyway. I was told the doctor would not see me unless I agree to be dilated or pay $50 for retina imaging. I explained to the tech that I actually already see a retina specialist whom I saw the week before and has imaging done. I just needed a new script for my glasses and I didn't want to be dialated (I didn't have a ride home) and I didn't want to pay $50 for imaging. I was told I had no choice or I wouldn't be seen. Well, ok then. I guess charge me $50 unnecessarily because I need glasses right away. I was asked if I wanted contacts. I said I was unsure as I had trouble with finding a lens that I could actually see well in. I'm told technology is better and they should be able to find me something. Cool. I'm fitted with a toric daily lens. Great. No one mentions that this fitting will cost $110 since the lens covered by my insurance doesn't come in my script. Not until I'm trying to check out, and my balance is much higher than expected. They say they can't bill my secondary to help cover the cost either. I asked to be fit in a lens covered by my insurance and I was told that it's not possible. Except that I just checked my insurance formulary and there is a daily toric lens that is covered and available. The person assisting couldn't keep my insurance companies straight. Eventually, after some back and forth they agree to take the charge off and they won't give me the script. No problem. But what really left me with a bad taste in my mouth was taking back the sample daily lenses that were already opened, marked and couldn't be reused anyway. This office genuinely just doesn't care about the patient or my concerns or experience in their office. Forcing me to get retina imaging when I'm telling you I had it done the week prior seems ridiculous. Forcing me to pay full retail for a lens fitting because you won't fit me in the lens covered by insurance feels like a scam. Like others here mentioned; this office only cares about making money. So it makes me very sad to write this negative review because the actual doctor was awesome and so was Jennifer. However, I had to call back to get more information on my sons written prescription. I went in over the weekend with my son who has never had an eye appointment. I stated that while we were there and mentioned that this is all new to me. I needed to know the PD. I called today and was given numbers. My husband called them back because I didn't ask if that was near or distance, apparently that makes a big deal. When he called he was told that we didn't pay for that so they could not tell us. However, I was never even offered that while I was onsite. I paid extra for all of the additional offered testing. So I don't understand why they didn't even offer something that is a requirement for a prescription. Gale told me that it is an office policy. I asked why would they have a policy where they wouldn't even offer it with a fee. I would have paid the fee. How can they write a prescription without all of the required information on it? She wasn't understand and did not have any valid reason for it. She was unprofessional and rude. It is insane to have an office polity to exclude any required information on a prescription. Second or third year using Dr. She is great - the management is lacking and greedy. I have eye Dr in family and they don't feel it's necessary to dilate child's eyes every year, as long as there's no history or issues. So I do it every other year. No big deal. Well this place acted like it was. I denied dilation and they asked 3 more times. I explained that we weren't going to have it done and the desk lady started talking about how I would have to sign something saying I was going against Dr orders. I said ok no big deal, then she went on about how the insurance pays for it. I had to firmly tell her no. Then she huffed ab needing to find a refusal to follow Dr orders. . Ok office lady. Same thing happened next week with other child - except she refused to listen and tried to charge me $40+ for test. I had to explain AGAIN - no. Big to do over finding form to refuse Dr orders. They are not Dr orders - it's their process they do to everyone no matter if they need it or not. $$ insurance money. Yeah yeah optometry recommendations- not Dr orders. Also - they started charging for giving you the results of frame measurements. As soon as I said I wasn't interested in the $300 frames they tried to sell me there was a $50 charge to hand me the measurements written on my prescription. Not the act of doing the measurements (10sec job), that has ALWAYS been part of an exam, because you need them to order glasses. I was shocked and asked for clarification- then it was $25- but yes, to get the results I needed to order glasses that has been part of exams for 35+ years, it's now $25. Never heard of this and called around, none of the three other places I called do this. The next week I took youngest and wanted to pay for the copay and $25 fee up front so we could leave right after exam bc no way am I ordering in a place that wants to gouge bc they can. Older woman had attitude when I said it was ridiculous to charge for results of exam. She then tried to tell me it wasn't part of the exam. I reminded her I had been coming there, have decades of experience buying glasses and it was not that way prior. THEN she admitted they took that part out of exam and charge for it if you want to take results. And tried to say some ridiculous story about how they just HAD to charge ppl now bc ppl were entering the wrong numbers when they ordered and frames where wrong. So it was such a liability they had to have customers sign waivers when we buy measurements. Absolute BS, I told her that seems like a pretty easy thing to clarify. Then she decided it was great service to talk about me loudly enough while I was sitting with my daughter that we could hear her. Keeping it classy. Don't bother here - so many options - go somewhere where they aren't trying to squeeze more $$ from ppl and then coming up with stories to justify. it's not the provider it's the front desk. The one answering the phone is rude. Her name is Corey. I was going to schedule my appointment her but changed my mind. I do admit I had to cancel 30 mins prior due to an emergency. I know that's an inconvenience but the attitude regarding that was a snooty tone. Things happen that you cannot control. You don't get paid on each customer. I also asked if she would be able to check what my copay is and she said she'll tell me when I get there. "it's not something that just pops up for us." I'm not retarded I know that. Ive asked that at my prior visit and there was no issue. if you were busy at that time, then say so. You could've called me back or told me to check with my insurance. A female greeted me and took the frames back. A very nice gentleman came out and started the screw was stuck inside, and he could give it a try, but if they broke, they would not be liable. I agreed.
