CORINNE G. I have been in this business for over 50 years…read more I did alot of work on the Hull and Dagger board as wel as paint work ,repaired your trailer and thought you were one of the better slip holders. Last December you were in my Office and said c would I get you an I 40 depth instrument an I called West Marine Pro and ordered an I-40 Depth sounder and I told you then that you were in luck it was on clearance and ga e you the discount. At that time I told you it would be there the next day. YOU CAME IN THE OFFICE AND SAID YOU WERE GOING TO INSTALL THE HEAD UNIT YOURSELF I handed you the I-40 that was never taken out of the box in my presence snd you handed me the transducer and said you weren't comfortable doing the transducer install but you were going to wire everything your self. 8 months later i get a call with a man calling me a idiot, incompetent and cuasing me.I let him that Mulligan a d called my West Marine Pro Rep . To see if he would help with this deal and he laughed and said and you want help on an electronic instrument that the customer installed 8 months ago. When the Customer not read when he turned it on it would have said Speed. Talking to the Riggers that did not show up to help this man they said he was too hard to deal with and the internet junk rigging the boat owner had was dangerous and I said the same when I saw it. I ask my West Marine Representative if he would help get this straight and said no way due to 8 months time gone by. I had West Marine Pro to send me the right Instrument and it was $300.00 more dollars than the speed that the Customer installed himself 8 months ago. I told the boat owner West Marine Pro would not Participate but they had the correct I40 depth was in stock and I would.have it mid week. The Boat owner said Bullshit he could get one the next day and called me a F'n liarat that point I hung the phone up. This man text me for several hours a day. I gave this gentleman 4 dates to hull the boat and install the correct Instrument. I told the customer to keep the speed instrument as it really is needed his boat and as is the depth instrument. The dates I gave him none was good for his schedule. At that point I realized nothing was going to please him. This man wrote a nasty email to Bill the owner of the marina a nasty letter and said my incompetence and other insults about my inexperience. 50 YEARS IN THIS BUSINESS i Love lead me to believe that nothing I would do to help these people would do would satisfy them. So after the insults almost fist fights and he swinging his cane at my wife he is a lucky man. I told him fair Weather and Following Sea's a d good luck at what ever Marina he was headed to. I would do for him what West Marine would do for a Company that spends tbousands of dollars a year with them and tha was nothing.

They even told me there were a few things they were fixing before delivery, so naturally I assumed it was solid. Three months later, it has spent almost that entire time in the shop. I've missed trips I had planned. I've taken one trip without water because the system wasn't working. Another trip ended with water leaking everywhere and damaging the cabinetry. Meanwhile, I've made all three payments on a van I've barely been able to use. Out of the 11 weeks I've owned it, it's been out of service for 9. And here's the frustrating part. Camping World is quick to sell you a unit, but when problems show up, the service drags. Everything is "waiting on parts" or "on order." No urgency, no ownership. When I finally asked about trading out of it into something reliable, their solution was to offer me wholesale value, nowhere near what I paid, on a van they sold me in this condition. That tells me everything I need to know. The relationship ends the second the paperwork is signed. They care about the transaction, not the customer. If you're shopping there, just understand that once they have your money, you may be on your own.

They told us it needed more work than it was worth. We are talking a 10 yr old camper. Upon returning for camper we found the door hinge was "broken". Too bad the best thing going for them is nice phone staff who can get you to come in but the rest is a waste. Girl at the front counter let me stand there for almost 5 mins while she was tending to her phone and scrolling social media. Thank you for a wasted day, broken hinge and insult of an offer
