Worst customer service ever- you simply cannot reach anyone by phone or E-mail. I do appreciate Sonia giving me her personal cell, but I still can't get a straight answer. I dropped my G21 off in early November and was told 6 weeks for slide work, stippling, co-witnessing new sights, and RMR cut. Here we are 12 weeks later and can't get a clear answer as to when I will get my pistol back. All I have been told several times now is that their stippler is behind. If they're that behind, get a new stippler and/or don't promise 6 weeks. They came recommended by Duncan's Gun Works in San Marcos. Can't wait to stop in and tell them never to recommend this place again. I let Sonia know that I want my pistol back on Friday as of yesterday, stippling or anything else finished or not with a refund to match. Not sure what the next step is. FINAL UPDATE: So I got my G27 conversion from my local armorer in SD and paid over $350 in additional fees to redo my G27 slide that DWS worked on. The MOS cut was totally jacked... the tap screws never finished... my slide was butchered. I spent another $100 removing the "free" cerakote that was essentially spray painted onto my slide before they tried to return it to me as "completed". And, by the way, my barrel was never cut down and crowned. When asked about the barrel, he said his vendor "bullshited" him and that "buyers are liars". To sum up my experience over the last few months... so did DWS. If you are a gun shop referral or customer, you are negligent to send anything to DWS. I have receipts to prove everything... so buyer beware. Glad this nightmare is over. REPLY TO PEDRO'S RESPONSE: I'm not sure how to format a "reply" to your excuses... so I'll edit my review to share them here: Your post was illiterate and nothing more than excuses. I've read many of your excuses about reviews from other dissatisfied customers during my ordeal with your shop. Sonia was more than happy to take on my project when I came in initially. You were happy to take my initial deposit when I refused to pay you in full before work even started. In my recent experience and to quote you...everything out of YOUR mouth is "bullshit". First of all, DWS was the only OC shop I could find that would even talk about milling a hellcat slide, then they were offering same day/24 hour turn arounds. So where to begin. My experience with Pedro at DWS. Got to say it wasn't the best. I had 2 guns done here. 1st was a sig p238. Wanted to start with something small, single color on the slide with optic cut. Was told 4 weeks. After many calls and was told different reasons for the delays, I was finally told they were waiting on my optic to be delivered but he had no ETA. I told him to credit me for the optic and I'll bring my own. Ordered on Amazon and recieved it the next day. So 12 weeks later this project was finally done. I told myself I'll never go back. But after some shopping around I couldn't find anybody to do my Sig 40cal P226. Now here we go down this rabbit hole. 1st we started with a single color and optic cut. deposit was sent and I made my way to drop it off. Once there and after much thought I decided to do 4 color camo plus the seeker cut on the slide. Plus some other details including a barrel porting and color change. I was told 12 weeks to complete. I thought well at least we're getting a more honest time line. Boy was I wrong. 22 weeks later I get the call that it's ready. I ask for a picture and color was all wrong. No camo, just a single color. WTF. He said they'll redo it. 26 weeks later, pick up day. You would think after all that time when I finally got it, it would be perfect. Nope! Color on my light and magwell were changed without my approval ( In hindsight it did look good). So I decided to leave it. But my seeker slide cut was suppose have chevron. That didn't happen. Optic didn't sit flat and had a ton of movement. Barrel was completely the wrong color. Racked my slide and cerakote was flying off. It was like Murphy's law. Just about everything went wrong. I couldn't even begin to start with all the reason I was given how this whole project went to s***. Here I am with a Unreliable gun. What choice but to leave it with him to fix it. I was told 1 week. Two weeks later got it back. Optic still was loose. Pointed it out to Pedro he tighten it, but still wasn't right. I ended up buy new screws and secured it later myself. A week later took it out to the range to sight it in. And my surefire light that DWS installed it flies off. Come to find out the attachment for the p-rails wasn't install. SMH! Called Pedro out on it. His reply IDK why my gunsmith would have taken it off. I wonder maybe to cerakot the light. I swear the garbage of excuses is endless. He said he'll send out the parts after I showed him the cost of replacement part. He stated the parts would be shipped out that day. Waited a week called him and to no surprise the parts hadn't been shipped. finally got a tracking number and recieved the parts. But here's the catch wasn't even for my style light. After all that he finally just zelle me the money and I ordered the parts myself. pedro you should consider changing the name of your company from dynamics weapon solutions to murphy's law, what can go wrong will go wrong. And your slogan should be guaranteed to triple any lead time given. read more

Promised delivery of magazine base pads in a week for my CZ75 SP01 but was always given the run around stating "it will be ready in a week", "it's a week and a half out", "you're order is first in line", and "parts are back ordered". Order placed September 4 and it's now October 23 (as of writing). What's even funnier was their IG handler and the person who replies to email inquiries give conflicting statements. Will never conduct business with this place again. It seems their more active with their IG stories than their actual production for the base pads. LOL. Edit since Pedro replied to my review: I was told a few times it will be ready soon. What's your definition of SOON? I have all the emails to prove that I was guaranteed it will be a week and a half out for the base pads. And yes, you did work quickly on the slide cut because I PAID EXTRA for it. I recently went to a training and my RMR red dot came loose. I took it apart and realized the previous shop I was taking it to had used the wrong length screws (too short). I called about 10 shops around town and only 2 shops confirmed they had the correct size (DWS being one of them). The guy I spoke to on the phone was super cool, knew exactly which screws he had inventory of, and told me to drop on by whenever I could. I dropped by the next day and DWS got my gun back up and running in under 10 minutes. To make my experience even better, they didn't even charge me for the quick service. Shows me they run an honest business. I will for sure be coming back here with any other gun smithing needs. Thank you. read more

I'll start off by saying that many of the negative reviews seem to be warranted on here. I didn't initially pay attention to them as Pedro assured me those leaving negative reviews were unfair and not representative of himself or his team. The job: I left my original Sig P226 slide with Pedro as partial credit towards purchase of a new Sig Pro Cut slide (wasn't leaving him anything to cut!) and a Holosun 507 comp optic (the main reason for the new slide was to get an optic for it without having to wait a long time for him to cut the original slide). Unfortunately, the Sig P226 Pro Cut slide he had in stock was flat dark earth whereas I needed/wanted flat black to match my gun. No worries he said as he could Cerakote it to match and get it shipped out to me to a couple days later on Monday 12/14/2024 (left my original slide and paid for services/parts on Saturday 12/12/2024)....he was even going to include suppressor height sights. This was a nice set up at a decent deal (as comparison, one can get the precut Pro Cut slide with XRAY3 Day/Night-sights direct from Sig right now for $380 OR the P226 Legion slide with X-RAY3 suppressor height night-sights for $450 both optic ready, while the Holosun 507 comp optic can be purchased on Amazon for $370) He did throw in Cerakote at approximately an $80 value, but I did surrender my original Sig P226 slide with night sights as part of the deal. I'll let you, the reader, decide if I got a good deal at $800 plus tax. The experience: Like others have noted, Pedro and team swing for the fences with quoted timeframes they simply won't keep or come close to. My experience was no different. What was quoted to me as a 2-day turn around turned out to take over 30 days! During that time I heard every excuse under the sun: employees out sick, it's the holidays, a family member ALMOST passed away, to can't work on things due to kids sports events. What I never heard was an apology for the continued delays. Keep in mind that the only work that had to be done was to spray paint (Cerakote) the existing slide he had (from flat dark earth to black) and screw on the optic, then ship to me (I'm local to him). I finally got sick and tired after the New Year and demanded to meet up with him on Saturday 1/11/2025. He agreed to do so, but was not at the shop all day despite his hours indicating they are open on Saturdays. I had evening plans so he and I ended up not meeting up, but he agreed to ship out on Monday 1/13.... that day then came and went and all week long I got excuses again... right down to a shipping label created for a package that never got shipped! Clearly ongoing used car salesman type delays. It took me writing him a final demand to perform with threat of a police report, court filing, and vendor dispute with my credit card company before finally getting him to follow through. I finally received my slide on Friday 1/17. While it looks great, not perfect, I'm appreciative I actually got my slide. I did message him today, just before this writing, to let him know that the front sight is missing the glow insert, it's just an empty hole where one should be. The rear sights have this. He has since indicated it's not supposed to have glow insert. Also worth noting that the optic installed came to me with a dead battery, and no Holosun manual or optic tool was included with what I received. Perhaps I got his display? In conclusion, I should have just gone with ordering the Pro Comp slide from Sig (or better yet their Legion slide), and optic through Amazon, or other reputable dealers. I could have just gone to another shop to Cerakote, but that was never my priority to begin with. I would have ended up in the end with my original slide AND a Sig Pro Cut slide, or Legion slide, with new Holosun 507 comp optic for about the same as what I paid Pedro for. The headache of having to stay on top of him ruined the overall experience going through him, unfortunately. 2/3/25 UPDATE: Still haven't received the Holosun manual and optic tool that Pedro indicated he'd send out to me in his rebuttal to my initial review. Pedro, you should understand that when you quote 2 days for something and decide you're going to delay things for over 30 days that the customer has good reason to be unhappy with your performance. Your failure to even acknowledge and apologize speaks volumes. Had I known upfront what your true turn-time was going to be I would never have agreed to do business with you. This is the primary issue you seem to have with your customers...lack of responsibility and empathy. 2/12/25 UPDATE: Still have not received the Holosun manual and optic tool that I should have received from Pedro by now. Seems he sold me a used optic since he has failed to provide me with what should have come standard with purchase of a new one. I'm now reaching out to Holosun directly to obtain, since Pedro hasn't followed through, again. read more

Beware never use this company for any of your firearm needs. They are liars take twice as long as they should. Had an issue with one of there slides they did in fact warranty it but should of expedited the replacement and the other services I stupidly had them do on a friend of mines Glock that I recommended to them. When you call no one answer more often than not haft to call numerous times from different numbers it's totally ridiculous they constantly say 2 more weeks it's a joke can't believe they are still in business. I would never use them again for anything I would pay more and use someone else across the country. Be aware they are scam artist. Worst company ever. I would give them negative stars but that isn't an option. Pedro is a nightmare to work with. I left my pistol with him in mid-December. The work order was a slide cut for optics, stippling the frame, and a light. He told me 8-12 weeks, and I was ok with that. He moved locations, didn't notify anybody, still has his old address listed, and is a crook. His new address is 18063 Redondo Circle in HB...for all of you who can't find him. He doesn't respond to emails, phone calls, texts, etc. I finally went to the HB police department, and they were nice enough to call him and that was a tremendous help. He quickly called me after speaking with them, and I went to his shop to pick-up my gun. The optics tools were missing, there was no light, and the magazines he promised were no longer a promise. Then he offered to order my light on Amazon, which he never did, and when I called him out and asked for the order number, he couldn't provide it. I knew he was full of it and ordered the light on that same day, and it showed up the next day. I then gave him until 5pm that day to Venmo me the money for the light, or I was taking legal action, and this worked. After over 6 months my nightmare is finally over. My recommendation is to use law enforcement and the legal system to get your items back, or a refund for work that he hasn't completed. read more

Absolutely avoid Dynamic Weapon Solutions. Don't fall for the yelp or Google reviews of 3.8+ out of 5. A quick search on Reddit will reveal everyone's poor service by DWS, which i wish I would've done before placing my order. I placed an order in December of 2024 for a slide cut for their DOS optic system on a 1911. As of this writing, August 3rd, I still have not received my gun slide despite multiple phone calls and messages telling me that the slide is done and will be shipped out in a week or two. They have been telling me this since about April when I gave them a call for an update after the expected lead time of 8-12 weeks! I've spoken with DWS about 5 or so times and the answer is always the same with a slight variation. Im paraphrasing here but this is the usual response "Its in assembly and will be shipped out in a week or two." Been told this several times. "The move to a new location killed us and delayed orders." " Im looking at your slide right now and its done. It will ship out by this friday." " its in assembly, but i wanted to wait until I got the new star shaped screws before I ship it out to you." The excuses are insane. Do not do business with them. If I could leave 0 stars I would. 10 months of excuses and being mislead. Do not give this shop your business. Before I get into the review I was told I will be receiving a refund for some of the work that was wrong. Will I get it? Who knows. This all started in November of 2024, when I didn't read any of the actual reviews on this shop, so I dropped off my slide. Was told in person 4-6 weeks and got a confirmation email that said 10-12. Took it for what it was and on the 13th week after no updates I called and was told it would be done the following week and that it didn't pass QC for the serrations. Couple weeks go by and no updates. Reached out again and was told it was ready for cerakote. Couple weeks later no response so I showed up, to find that only the optic cut was actually done. Was then offered a slide he had but when I left he said it was actually the wrong length slide and he will get mine done asap. A month later and my slide is now stuck in his cnc machine but it was not damaged from what I was told, it was stuck for a few weeks. Every single week from then until now there has been excuse after excuse. Couple weeks ago I am told it's done and it'll be shipped, took some time to get a tracking number and when I did it was "not received" by usps for over a week. During that time I get a photo of my slide and the front serrations are wrong. I was then told they had to be cut that way because it was damaged when it got stuck in the cnc machine. Once again I was told it wasn't damaged when it happened. After I brought this to his attention and before he agreed to refund me for the serrations I was told "You have serrations, camo and it's done and shipped out." As if I was supposed to just deal with it. I finally received my slide last week and after 10 months and countless messages fighting to get it back, the cerakote is scratched and the front sight isn't even aligned properly. He will probably comment on this to save face but just know it's smoke and mirrors. read more

I highly recommend this place for any slide/optic work.. they offer a few different services but I went in for optic cut. It took about 3-6 weeks with cerakote work but man it was worth the wait. Beautiful finish. I went with the normal Glock finish but they had many options and color combos. Pedro installed my internals and optic and guided me in the next step. DWS mounted an RMR and milled my Springer TRP slide about a year ago. I noticed a tiny wiggle and realized the plate had loosened. I took it in and on the spot they fixed it and even gave me a few extra screws to use when I eventually replace the battery. They were kind and realized I needed my gun back to teach a class with and fixed it on the spot, despite being so busy. They are my go to for any slide work. read more

Reached out to them on Instagram and they responded quickly and were very helpful with answering my questions. Once my slide was ready they were able to completely swap all the internals from my old slide into the new one at no charge. They also gave my a good deal on suppressor height sights when I picked up the slide and threw them on in minutes. The lady behind the counter was so sweet and thoughtful, gave me some targets and also showed me some tips for using my new red dot sight.
