I am not seeing the listing for a sister office for Dynamics O & P in Downey on Paramount Blvd. So I will put my review here as they are part of the same company: Went here for new orthotics as a surgery left me with a leg-length difference. My experience here with Rosio at the front desk, and Trevor K helping me order and then fit my new orthotics was beyond excellent. I picked them up today, and so far feel hope for the first time in 17 months(!) that I may finally be without ankle pain that onset after a surgical result that was less than hoped for (to say the least). I can't say enough... Trevor listened to me and worked with me to my complete satisfaction when I walked out the door. I have gotten my diabetic shoes from here for the last few years. I must admit that the 1st pair didn't fit very well and I was too lazy to take them back. The following year I got a different pair of shoes and they fit like a well worn glove, they are so comfortable and roomy, I plan to get another pair just like them or very similar to them this year. read more

The last time I was here it for my grandmother's back brace and it was really great to see staff help her out and they really cared. Today I'm here for my mom for some insoles and I'm sure it will help her out as well. Check in was smooth, they have coffee for their patients and we were promptly seen. I came here with my aunt who needed to get fitted after having a mastectomy. Sue was very sweet and informative. She took measurements and was extremely patient while I translated to my aunt, as well as during the fitting process. She was very meticulous and made sure my aunt was satisfied. This place is located in the outskirts of DTLA, west of the 110 freeway in a sketchy neighborhood. There is a parking lot located in the back. My mom is a below knee amputee (due to malpractice) as a result of the surgery the bone pertrudes causing much discomfort and pain. Enter DYNAMICS, they made our experience care free, 1st they came to our home (super convenient) 2nd we received the protesis in a week, 3rd they made sure it was the prefect fit for my mom. Well you know that bone I told you about earlier, it started causing problems (3yrs later)making the protesis a not so prefect fit. Enter DYNAMICS they have made my mom a new protesis with even more accommodations for that bone, again the prefect fit! This review is for the Dynamics location on Carson Blvd in Torrance. The simple fact that all reviews are funneled to the Los Angeles location shows how sleazy this business is. I was sent to them for orthotics by LA CARE. In hind sight and with knowledge how the system works they are probably the lowest bidder. I dealt with technician David Torr. He made the molds and I waited for them to be made. First fitting they were questionable as far as comfort. He said walk around for awhile and come back if there is a problem. Right one was not working. Lots of discomfort. He tried adjusting and give it some time. I did and it was worse. Couldn't walk with them and pain was horrible. This time he wanted me to pay $45 CASH even though it was supposed to be covered by insurance. I did. I needed relief. Give it some time. HORRIBLE pain and I developed a callous where I never had one. Went back. He kept adding foam to the bottom of the orthotic. The foam needs to be added to the top! That is where your foot is. Not the sole of the shoe!! He was trying to save it the piece and not having to eat it and make a new one. This time he said he explained that making these devices are difficult. He than suggested that I go home and try adjusting it MYSELF with sandpaper!!!!!! Time wasted. More pain than I deserved and I have a new painful callous where I never had one! DO NOT USE DYNAMICS FOR ANY ORTHOTIC OR PROSTHETIC. THEY WILL ONLY UNCARINGLY MAKE YOUR PAIN WORSE AND COMPROMISE YOUR HEALTH! I accompanied my mother-in-law to Dynamics to be fit with a knee brace after her injury. The front office staff was friendly and informative about her share-of-cost. The specialist was quick but thorough. They have a multi-lingual staff and she was able to receive instruction in Spanish. Dynamics screwed up my order. They took measurements for a knee brace and I was supposed to get a call when it came in. I called two weeks later and they told me they would call me back with an update on when it would arrive. No call back. I called three weeks later and was told the order was never placed. They fast tracked the order and when I came to pick it up I was told, it was 100% covered. Then, I got a bill from them. I try to resolve it and like before, I never got a call back. Tell your provider to send you to another supplier before you go to Dynamics. read more

these people are great, my husband had serious neck surgery and when he was released from the hospital - the nurse went to get him a new neck brace and never returned. My mother-in-law had picked him up and was fairly upset so I had to go on the journey to find a proper replacement. after calling the insurance and the surgeon's office referred me here. Sarah was terrific and very accomodating and supportive. She made sure I could pick up the brace close to home so my husband did not have to endure a long care ride. We were taken care of without waiting even 3 minutes! a record!. Sue Sean and her staff have been excellent. They truly care and are knowledgable and professional. Ms. Sean took over her father's business and has been around amputees needs all her life. I was referred by my insurance here for a knee brace. My MD order a Custom Knee brace but my insurance had approve a simple hinged brace. They called my insurance to make changes to my referral. I waited 15 mins for this but referral was changed. Im gratefull for that since I didnt want to come back again for a insrance issue. Was seen as schedule and had my brace in two weeks. So far everything with brace is fine. read more

I was most displeased with the foot insert that was made for me at Dynamics. The insert is very uncomfortable and ill fitting. Unfortunately because i have had other medical issues and I cannot drive ; I was unable to make an appointment until after the "90 day warranty. " Therefore, the orthotist was unable to make any adjustment to alleviate my pain. Since the cost (out of pocket-at that point) was prohibitive I will have to suffer the results. The brace for my other foot (drop foot) was satisfactory. I guess being an elderly lady I was very surprised that suddenly Mary who was usually amiable became very condescending and difficult.
