    Crispy peanut chicken

Things We Ordered Golden China Pan: -Sesame chicken. -Peanut chicken (house specialty). -Fried pork dumplings and steamed veggie dumplings. -House lo mein.* -House fried rice. -Spring rolls. Things I Like About Golden China Pan: -Sesame chicken. -Fried pork dumplings. -House lo mein. -Spring rolls. -The nice young lady behind the counter. She's very sweet, apparently makes her own sweet and sour sauce, and was very welcoming as we waited for our takeout order. Things I Don't Like About Golden China Pan: -The peanut chicken was a shockingly tiny portion, and not really peanutty in any way. It has made me question my devotion to ordering house specialties, and I don't like questioning my devotions. Regardless, this is a solid Chinese takeout spot. They seem to care, which is half the battle. _______________ *Autocorrect keeps trying to make this LinkedIn. Lo mein is infinitely more useful than LinkedIn. I was almost charged thrice then the driver hit on me.

I had the most insane experience trying to order take out tonight. It started off fairly normal, the driver showed up and told me it was his first day. He brought a machine to charge my card and it accidentally charged my card thrice. I'm outside for a solid 15 minutes while he is trying to charge my card, but I'm patient because I feel bad this is happening on his first day. He called his manager who then asked to talk to me on the phone who started off the call oh so professionally by saying "MY DRIVER IS DRIVING ME NUTS." She said she would call the card company to make sure they ended up charging the correct amount. At that point I just wanted to eat, so I told him I'd keep an eye out on my charges and call if it overcharged. While sitting down to eat dinner with my friend, they call me six times which I do not notice until after I hear my doorbell ringing. The driver and the questionably sober person with him then say they are here to charge my card because it didn't work before. I hand them my card and when it doesn't work two more times is when I reminded him that we were in the middle of dinner. The machine continues to not work..at this point, my reasonably alarmed friend comes out to check out what's going on. She then tells him we are eating dinner and that we shouldn't have to pay for this. They agree and finally leave us be. The driver then has the audacity to abuse having my number solely for delivery purposes and texts me "sorry baby girl" in which I replied "Dude credit card machine not working isn't your fault, but in absolutely no world is it appropriate to 1. text me and 2. call me 'baby girl'. Please do not text me back." It's one thing for there to be a technical error, but I'm upset with how that was handled. Taking 30 minutes minimum away from eating the food that I am willingly trying to pay for but it isn't work on their end was way too long, especially considering they showed up again DURING dinner. It was very unprofessional they called me six times while I was trying to eat my already delayed dinner. The truly shocking piece though is the driver continuing contact by texting me and then objectifying me by calling me baby girl. I'm disgusted and upset that this place has my number and address. Don't order delivery from here, you'll regret it.

I drive from a SPFLD for food. There's a shortage of good Asian food in western MA but this place is really good.

Good taste, great prices. The sauce was a bit thick, but not worthy of actual complaining. I'll be going back for sure.

Our favorite place for Chinese. Clean, super friendly and far less greasy than most. Never been dissatisfied.

But we won't be going back after how my wife was treated yesterday. I called in an order for pickup. They never tell you how long it will take or even give you a chance to ask. So it's a guess when it will be ready. There are times it can take over an hour but this time the wait wasn't long. However, they messed up the order. One of the items was supposed to be Moshu Vegetable but they gave us Moshu chicken. My wife is vegetarian and doesn't eat chicken. The receipt said vegetable so we didn't discover the mistake until we got home. She had to drive back which delayed us having our dinner by an hour. Instead of apologizing or giving any sort of compensation, the guy yelled at her. Said it was vegetable and not chicken. He said the pieces of chicken were egg. It was not egg. I tasted it myself. It was clearly chicken. Even if it was egg, there is no reason to be so mean to your customers. He didn't even take the lid off to check to see if he was wrong. I had egg in my rice and there was clearly a difference in looks and taste. He made a mistake and wouldn't admit it. Very poor customer service. We will not be returning!

Everything is made fresh to order from the thick, hand-pulled noodles, dumplings, and scallion pancakes. Ordering is quick and casual. You place your order at the back right counter when you walk in (for dine-in or takeout), and the cashier also acts as your server. If you order a noodle soup, they'll ask if you want green onions and/or cilantro. After that, just grab any open table and relax. We ordered a variety of dishes. Appetizers: Scallion pancakes: (3/5) nice crispy pancakes with scallions. Dumplings with pork and leeks: (3/5) tender dumplings filled with pork and some leeks Spicy stewed beef noodle soup: (4/5) thick hand pulled noodles in a savory broth topped with vegetables like bok choy and mushroom and some tender beef Hot and sour vermicelli soup: (4/5) very tangy savory broth with tender vermicelli noodle and ground pork. Medium spicy level Biang Biang noodles with pork: (4/5) their signature hand-pulled noodles are sautéed in a medium spicy sauce with pork. Overall this place hits the spot for an authentic Chinese meal without the glitz and glamour.

Tonight, I found myself home alone and hungry, and after seeing so many positive reviews, I decided to give them another chance. The staff were very friendly, but I noticed the same unusual smell I remembered from years ago. I ordered Combo A: General Tso's Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Crab Rangoon. The pork fried rice was underwhelming. The pork was tough, and the flavor seemed to be little more than soy sauce. It was mostly rice with a few onion slices and pieces of pork. The General Tso's Chicken was disappointing as well. There was very little actual chicken and a lot of batter. The sauce was brown in color and tasted nothing like the General Tso's sauce I've had elsewhere. It lacked flavor, and aside from a single piece of pepper, there were no vegetables. The Crab Rangoon was okay. The texture was different from what I'm used to, but it was edible. Overall, I found it to be an $18.75 meal that was largely inedible. While I appreciate the friendly service, the food simply wasn't for me, and unfortunately my second visit didn't change my opinion.
