I honestly have no idea where to begin. I went into this with wanting to better myself and expand…read moremy career options, UEl has been a complete letdown since day one. I enrolled for the electrician program and my first instructor Chris Fanin had no idea what he was doing. He never followed the lesson plan that was provided to him and just kept talking about how he lost his wife and daughter to a car accident. Needless to say that was incredibly uncomfortable for all of us enrolled in his class. There were times where we would ask questions about the days topic and he would just continue to talk about his wife and daughter or show us magic tricks SMH * Some of the students brought this to the attention of the higher ups but nothing was done. 3 months later we moved on to the more advanced courses taught by Sidney Singco, he was the absolute best instructor we had, but it was difficult for us because he had to teach us the lessons that the first instructor failed to teach us which made this incredibly hard. My other frustration with this school was dealing with career services. I went through 3 career service representatives and none could help me. 1 rep was moved to help a different course, the 2nd rep helped me with a rough draft resume then ended up quitting and told none of the students, the 3rd rep was incredibly immature that she kept making off hand jokes and literally lied to me that she would be able to find me leads/work. It went as far as she lied about my records claiming I had work, even saying that I owned my own business. She did all that just so she could get more funding for the school. I didn't even hear back from her for about 2 months later after I reached out. It's so incredibly strange that when you do or say something positive online about this school they completely ignore and forget about you. I graduated October of last year and have had ZERO work as an electrician. This school is a joke and a giant scam, the "leads" that they send you lead to dead end after dead end. At one point one of the leads my resume was sent to was for a window washing company, while another interview was for a building that was abandoned. Even the temp agency I was sent to was a joke. Seriously, save yourself the embarrassment and avoid this school at ALL COSTS!!!

If I could give this school zero stars, I would…read more I attended UEI about seven years ago. While I did meet some great classmates and a few instructors genuinely cared about their students, my overall experience was extremely disappointing. After I graduated, I struggled to find employment in the field. I expected more career assistance, but I didn't receive the support I hoped for. I felt like once I graduated, I was on my own. For a school that advertises helping students prepare for careers, I expected much more guidance with job placement and career opportunities. One of the biggest issues has been dealing with their collections department. I have tried to work with them and make payments, but instead of being treated with respect, I was met with rude and unprofessional behavior. One representative, Salvador Rubio, made personal remarks about my finances. Looking back, I honestly wish I had gone to a community college instead. I paid thousands of dollars for a certificate that, in my experience, did not provide the career opportunities I expected. Community colleges often offer more affordable programs, transferable credits, and recognized degrees without leaving students with the same level of debt. UEI may work well for some people, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend it. Before enrolling, I encourage prospective students to compare all of their options, including community colleges, and carefully consider the long-term cost versus the value of the education and career support they will receive.

Secondly, if you plan on getting an ARDMS or CCI Certification after graduating, go to a different school. ATI doesn't have the right accreditation. (an Allied Health Accreditation) they are just accredited as a Career College ... nor do they offer the 600 hours externship which both agencies requir for you to quilify to to take either exam. SO, YOU CANT GET YOUR CERTIFICATION IF YOU DONT GET HIRED RIGHT OUT OF SCHOOL AND GET A YEARS' EMPLOYMENT. Majority can't get hired without certification. I've had interviews.. Those who want to hire me, say I need my certification require certification, and those that dont require certification continue to go with candidates who have more experience. Also, might be worth mentioning is that I literally had an interview with a director of Cardiology who knows of ATI College and his comment to me during, was "wow, im surprised you learned anything there." -___-
