The normal staff and instructors are amazing and always very attentive. I go 3 x a week and love this gym, but Today's class was extremely frustrating. Our substitute instructor, Cristina Arroyos, only brought out 10 foam rollers for a 25‑plus person class she stressed that foam rollers were needed upon my entrance, so I go in the closet frantically looking for in case there were extra at this point I was already 2 min behind , I proceeded to set up a mat for my partner and I .My partner was behind dropping off our children at Kids Club. the moment my partner walked in, she went out of her way and handed him her roller after refusing to give me one. The whole interaction felt disrespectful, unnecessary, and completely avoidable. It honestly made me feel sick to my stomach. This kind of behavior from an instructor is unprofessional and creates a negative environment for the class and I will be avoiding any class that she's at altogether, I encourage EOS to really take a look at this! When i first went in to the gym, veryone was nice. And then i got signed up with a training contract. Not being able to read it and not being told i actually only had 5 days to cancel the contract. But was told i could cancel at any time in writing. So i email several people and never got a reply back. And low and behold, the 2 guys that signed me up are no longer at this location. I have very severe vertigo, that is one of the reasons i have to cancel my contract and the other reason is because they completely, miss led me. I was very specific about what i wanted and that i was on a very tight budget. The first 3 weeks they had already taken over 250 $. They said it was a by- weekly cost, not a weekly payment. If I could give zero stars, I would. EōS Fitness has been nothing but a nightmare since August, when I first tried to cancel my membership after moving away. The first person I spoke to told me my membership would be officially canceled on October 7th. I followed every step, called to confirm, and was assured it was handled. But of course, it wasn't. That first employee never noted anything on my profile, so I was charged again. When I called back, Deija White told me her manager, Joseph Kiersten, would email me written confirmation that my profile had finally been updated because, according to her, the last person "didn't put it in the notes." Not only did I never receive that email, but the manager was too afraid to come to the phone and instead put all of the onus on poor Deija. You could absolutely tell she had to keep going back and forth with a manager who wasn't supporting his employees. The result? More excuses, more delays, and another charge. EōS Fitness has perfected the art of wasting your time and taking your money. I highly recommend you find a Trustworthy Reputable GYM / Organization. My experience in canceling my gym membership is shared by countless other gym members that have left EOS. My saga started in Nov. 2025. First I attempted to cancel my gym membership on line, but there was no option. I then called the gym to cancel over the phone and was told I would have to physically come in to cancel the membership. Around Nov. 28th I went to the gym to cancel my membership. The employee working at the time said their was nothing they could do and that I had to speak with a manager to cancel my membership. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was not one on staff at night and I would have to come back during the day. Until now, I was not aware that the employees of EOS are not trained in verbal communication, or paper communication, or electronic device communication, In fact they are trained only to not communicate. They are trained to have a very do nothing, non-helpful attitude. For an organization to be open "24hrs a day" and not have mangers available during "business hours" is unprofessional and possibly illegal, that is up to the state of Arizona to decide legality. I went back several days in a row each time I was told there was not a manger available. Then my bill came and surprise they charged me another monthly fee, for a service I said to cancel. It gets better. Finally I speak with a manger in early Dec. 2025 who tells me he will cancel the membership but he does not have the authority to stop any additional charges or reverse any charges. Now it is Jan. 2026, I check my bill, and guess what? There are additional charges from EOS. This time they are for a full year membership plus monthly fee, for a membership canceled in Nov. 2025. I have since notified my Credit Card Company and the BBB. I recommend anyone else in this position to do the same. You need to have your card canceled so EOS cannot charge the card. Then ask your Credit Card Company to investigate EOS and reverse the unauthorized charges to your card.. I then decide to call EOS Peoria and go to the billing department. I spoke with two different people and they both said they cannot do anything. Cancellations and fee reversal is up to the individual location where the memberships is (remember I called the 10160 W. Lake Pleasant pkwy Peoria AZ. 85012, where my gym is and the person on the phone, verified me and my account). The person's I spoke with must not have known their own address to make such a statement. At least I was able to find out that the manager had finally gotten around to canceling my membership in Jan 2026. I guess the manager needed to pad his year end figures illegally, so he could keep his job. What other reason could there be for their idiotic financial illegal loop system. As you can see they have quite the scam going. Everyone pretends to know nothing or can do nothing. Save your self the time, the headache, and your hard earned money and look for a reputable gym. EOS is not a reputable gym. If you must choose EOS as your gym, be aware of their fraudulent behavior. read more

This is my go to gym although there's another literally across the street from me. I prefer this location as it is HUGE!! No matter how busy it gets, there's always an alternative machine or plenty of free weights available. Staff are mostly college aged kids & friendly when checking in. Gym is clean and well maintained. If a machine is out of order, it's usually fixed by your next workout. They have a sauna (in each locker room), a pool &hot tub, basketball court & even installed an outside workout area for the cool weather days. They also have a cardio movie room where you can watching a movie all while using a treadmill, elliptical machine or the stair stepper machine. Check it out for yourself! read more

A years ago I went to the nearby EOS Fitness to purchase an annual membership for my son as a Christmas present. Apparently it is not a customary practice, purchasing annual membership. ‍Payment on a monthly basis is what is customary. The process took more time than I thought should. My son has been happy with his membership and wanted the same for this Christmas, easy peasy!! I walk into the 59th Ave/Thunderbird location and who but Landon greats me with a smile. Landon was the only one at the front desk and was greeting members, answering questions, answering the phone and actually very good at all of it. I ask Landon about any upgrades and he jumped on that train. Well, needless to say Landon is also very good at upselling! Way to go Landon!! read more

The equipment and amenities are great however the personal are shady, do not buy into the training lessons and cancelling your membership is a nightmare. 2 weeks ago I went to talk to the management, spoke with several of the managers, asked for the cancellation of personal training. I was asked to try for 2 sessions unknowingly was signed up for a 90 day contract that I was never told that I was agreeing to when asked to try the personal trainer, it was out of the blue, here try two for free and if you don't like it then you can just quit. On the first attempt, the personal trainer was late and never showed called and offered apologies, and I said okay. Long story short the trainer either never showed up or was late every time, while Sebastian rescheduled me for a session, on the day of the rescheduled session Sebastian was in a car accident and was hurt, I asked the trainer to cancel my personal trainer's contact, which after I was billed $140 for him and I asked Sebastian why was I billed when you did nothing and immediately wanted to schedule me for a training session, I expected Sebastian to do the right thing, no apologies and never return the money, was charged again yesterday $140 and haven't seen Sebastian since end of April and EOS continued billing even after speaking with management and will threaten to ruin your credit if you decide that you no longer want a personal trainer. Let this be a cautionary tale, Sebastian is still there accepting money for work never done, billing is aggressive, if a lawyer reads this, I saved all the texts, don't get misinformation, sound good until Sebastian is late or leave your session early. I couldn't find the policy on lost and found. I lost a key fob and was hoping to check if it was there, but an employee told me they tossed everything yesterday. I assumed they would keep lost items for at least 30 days to give people a chance to claim them. Losing my item just yesterday and finding out it's already been discarded is really frustrating and makes me consider canceling my membership. I could not find a policy on website. Great facility. Has all the equipment you could need and it is super big! Unfortunately it has gone downhill the last few years. They have sold too many memberships so it is packed no matter what time you go. No one likes working out in a packed gym. And the mirrors always have spit all over them, they seem to never get cleaned. I wonder if the equipment ever does. My daughter was a member there for over three years. She cancelled her membership due to going into the Coast Guard two months ago. She graduated boot camp and came home for three days before having to report back. She went back to this gym for a day pass today, Super Bowl Sunday. She explained that she wanted to lift just for the day. They charged her $20 for a day pass. I can understand that you do not support our military, but $20 for the day when you charge $10 per month before taxes? Charging two month of fees for one day? ES Fitness has reassured me four times that my training contract has been canceled. As of yesterday, another payment was taken and there's another charge on my card. I've had two sessions and frankly they both sucked and I've had other trainers at other gym so I don't know what to expect. So that just adds insult to injury. Two of their representatives have replied to my other reviews here assuring me they want to make everything nice. Two times the Better Business Bureau has been assured that it has been taken care of and that a refund for the extra payments is in the works. And yet that is a lie. They continue to be two monthly payments taken. This is the most disgusting lack of business professionalism. I have dealt with in a long time. I've heard excuses about them having been bought by another entity, that there's a third-party that they use for the payment processing. Originally they put me under the impression I was gonna pay 200 a month but were charging me 400 and refused to cancel when I brought it up so I had to cancel my whole bank card. This is a great gym with ample space which includes a swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and massage chairs. EOS says this is their largest facility in Arizona (Former Safeway). The staff are friendly, gym is clean and they are open 24 hours! At the moment, I go to use primarily the hot tub and massage chairs. Trust me when I say I get a 10 hour work out at my job (Warehouse) so it's nice to get rejuvenated here at EOS. read more

However, this time around, things have changed. From the moment I walked in, the staff at EOS Fitness made me feel welcome. Instead of a generic tour, the fitness manager, John M, personally showed me around. Unlike most gyms, there was no pressure to sign a long-term contract, just genuine answers to my questions and he even showed me all the improvements they made since I last went to an EOS, including more equipment, a variety of classes, and new machines. After a few weeks of working out at EOS, I can confidently say it's a fantastic gym. They have multiple locations, well-maintained equipment, and a clean environment. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, and the trainers really know their stuff. Even after signing up, John still remembers my name and says hi! It's refreshing to receive genuine customer care, which feels like a rarity these days. Customer care is not an afterthought here. EOS Fitness treats you like family from day one. Every single one of the girls that works at the front desk are all on power trips. They literally check people in but think they have some much power. They are rude and disrespectful. Two days in a row they stared my daughter down and told her not to give them attitude. I do not recommend this place simply because if these girls in the morning that work there.
