I had no idea what to expect when first coming to this location. Each one of these gyms has their own personality and I was curious to see how this one would be. Safe to say this has been one of best experiences at a gym I've ever had. Commercial or private. This place is clean and has some great equipment. When you first walk in the front desk always makes you feel welcomed. Each one of them is incredible. The sales people remember names and actually help you reach your goals. They keep up with my fitness journey which is next level kindness. The fitness staff is great (they handle the personal training. Their fitness manager, Luka, has some amazing trainers who are all so kind and helpful. (One time i asked a trainer a question on the gym floor and they helped out no issue!) I've been coming here since November. I love the amenities this location offers. With the top tier membership- I have access to the Sauna, Massage chairs, and Recovery zone. It's just $10 more a month than what I was paying at 24Hr fitness but it's so much cleaner and has many more perks. The afternoon tends to be really crowded. Early morning and weekend evenings are the least crowded, in my opinion. The staff is always really friendly and helpful. Jamal is the best greeter. Machines are clean and maintained well. read more

A WARNING I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my experience while employed as a Personal Trainer at EOS Fitness. My purpose in submitting this complaint is to bring attention to what I experienced during my employment, particularly under the leadership of Fitness Manager Lucca, and to explain how these experiences affected both my career and my mental well-being. Throughout my employment, I experienced repeated behavior from Lucca that I believe created a hostile and emotionally harmful work environment. One recurring issue was that he would make jokes about firing me in front of other employees. These comments were humiliating, degrading, and caused me unnecessary anxiety about my job security. I confronted him directly on multiple occasions and told him these jokes were not funny and made me uncomfortable. Despite expressing how they affected me, the behavior continued. I also experienced ongoing bullying from another employee who regularly picked fights with me and created unnecessary conflict. I reported these incidents multiple times because I genuinely felt targeted. Rather than addressing the issue or helping create a safe work environment, Lucca appeared to use the conflict to motivate sales performance. He would make comments such as, "You're not going to let her beat you, are you?" while laughing. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, he used someone I had repeatedly reported as encouragement for competition. This made me feel bullied not only by a coworker but also by my own manager. I gave everything I had to EOS Fitness. I was passionate about helping members improve their health, building lasting relationships with clients, and contributing to the success of the company. I consistently worked hard and took pride in representing EOS professionally. I sold more supplements than anyone else on the team, received the highest number of client reviews, and dedicated myself to growing the business. When I finally opened up to Lucca about how much I cared about the company, how much I had contributed, and how discouraged I had become because of the treatment I was experiencing, I hoped for understanding and support. Instead, I was told that if I wanted to leave, I could leave. There was no attempt to address my concerns, no effort to retain a dedicated employee, and no indication that my contributions were valued. In addition to my treatment as an employee, I witnessed business practices that deeply concerned me. In my experience, membership and personal training packages were sometimes presented without customers being given complete information about the terms of their agreements. As a result, when members later attempted to cancel, many experienced significant difficulty and became frustrated after learning they were still financially obligated. I personally observed numerous complaints from members regarding these situations. I also believe that sales credit and units were not always handled fairly. There were instances where I believe my units, as well as those of other employees, were credited to Lucca instead. This affected employee recognition, performance metrics, and overall morale. Employees deserve confidence that their work and accomplishments will be accurately recorded and credited. Another issue that continues to concern me is the handling of my employment records. Throughout my employment, whenever I asked whether there were any issues documented in the system regarding my performance or conduct, I was consistently told that everything was fine, that I was in the clear, and that there was nothing negative on my record. However, after new management took over, they recognized my value and made an effort to bring me back. Despite their willingness to rehire me, they were unable to do so because of information that remained in the system. This was shocking and confusing because it directly contradicted what I had repeatedly been told while I was employed. If there were concerns documented, I believe I should have been informed and given the opportunity to address them. Instead, I was reassured that everything was fine, only to later discover that information in the system prevented me from returning. Overall, these experiences had a significant impact on my emotional well-being, confidence, and mental health. I entered EOS Fitness excited to build a career and help others improve their lives. Instead, I left feeling devalued, bullied, unsupported, and deeply disappointed by the leadership I experienced. I believe every employee deserves to work in an environment where they are treated with respect, where reports of bullying are taken seriously, where performance is credited fairly, where customers receive complete and transparent information, and where employment records are maintained honestly and accurately. read more

1 star I'm extremely disappointed with this gym and will be canceling immediately. Don't fall for the free membership after you refer 3, because I got cheated out of that after numerous emails. I referred so many friends here it's a shame First, this place is disgusting. Equipment is never cleaned, weights are left everywhere, and employees do absolutely nothing to maintain the gym floor. No one wipes machines, no one enforces basic gym etiquette, and staff just stand around instead of helping members. Second, the staff is completely useless when it comes to actually helping with anything. I was promised a free year / promotional membership when I signed up, and that was never honored. I spoke with Jesse and Benny who were dismissive, unhelpful, and offered zero solutions. I had to chase answers and still got nowhere. Totally unprofessional. What a joke. Entire staff Parking is another nightmare -- there is never any parking available, and the gym is constantly overcrowded. It's so packed now that it's basically impossible to get a real workout in, no matter what time you go. The so-called movie theater room is a joke. The volume is never on (or so low you can't hear anything), which completely defeats the purpose. Yet another thing management clearly doesn't care to fix. This gym has gone downhill fast. Poor cleanliness, poor customer service, broken promises, overcrowding, and zero accountability from staff. Save your money and go somewhere that actually respects its members. I have been trying for months to just downgrade to the lowest membership and I continue to get charged 29 and now 27? I called, and I canceled my training, and they froze my account until 08.25.2026, and I am being charged. I need to resolve these issues immediately. I'll break this down really simple .... This gym is good to get a quick workout in but what it's not good at is keeping things to a standard. The men's sauna has been broken for 2 weeks now give or take . As they blame "holidays and people braking it - waiting on parts"- we still have the problem of it not being fixed for all the other members. It's a pain in the ass not being able to hit the sauna as you're pushing yourself and it's on your list of things to do. PLEASE remember blaming the problem on things never solves it. EŌS employees all lack professionalism and the ability to run a gym. Beware - it's not what they make it to seem. The location in San Clemente is the worst compared to LR. - People are coming in with more than one guest, but every time I've noticed this, employees at the front desk are acting like this is High School and just messing around. They are not checking and paying more for the higher membership means NOTHiNG if those same people are also holding the doors open to non paying customers in your " speciality" room. - I've seen management see the behavior and do nothing to stop employees from messing around and actually doing their job. - People are not wiping down their machines when they are finished, leaving their gross and disgusting germs for the next one to touch. The paper towels and spray bottles are a joke to wipe down your machine - the paper towels absorb the liquid before you even get back to your station. This is a health department issue for sure! - Someone in leadership, beyond the emps at the gym, need to wake up and run this place. To say it's a hot mess is an understatement. If emps are running around and goofing off, not checking in people or ensuring members that pay extra are utilizing the upgrades, I can see why you consistently need to recruit new members to offset the cost of people freeloading. I have not enjoyed gyms in the past, but EOS has revolutionized my gym experience. The e-gym adjusts to my size and strength, making weight lifting fun, simpler and more efficient. The movies in the theatre help treadmill, stepper, elliptical, and cycling workouts seem to pass quickly. My trainer, Sam, is the right combination of tough, inspiring, and kind. I wasn't happy with the confusion with my training sessions under previous management. Like a well run company, an excellent new manager took over; Lucca fixed everything and comped me with extra sessions. Ellie at the front desk is truly caring and knowledgeable. I have the top tier membership and have brought several guests; they have never been badgered with sales pitches. I'm very thankful that EOS opened in San Clemente. I hope they will expand here to include group classes and a saltwater pool! read more

NO, NO, NO. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I COME HERE... extremely unhelpful and unprofessional. I am writing to formally demand immediate action regarding my EOS Fitness membership and personal training services. This matter has dragged on for nearly a year without resolution, despite multiple documented attempts to cancel, pause, or address billing concerns. I initially signed up for personal training when I became a member in October 2024. After only 3-4 sessions, my trainer left in December 2024. I was told I would be reassigned a new trainer, but that never happened. I followed up multiple times in January 2025--via phone and email, specifically with a staff member named Brandon--to request a reassignment or a pause in training charges until further notice. My outreach was ignored or delayed, and I continued to be charged for services I was not receiving. In February, after another charge, I followed up again and was told the freeze would be initiated, though no details were provided. I again requested confirmation and reimbursement for unused sessions. Brandon then claimed I had not given enough notice--even though my request was made on January 14, well within a reasonable timeframe. Despite my continued outreach, charges persisted in March. I again requested to freeze or cancel training services entirely and received no response. I also asked to be connected with the San Clemente PT manager after I began using that location. Again, no follow-up. I eventually spoke to a trainer manager in San Clemente (possibly Zack), who promised someone would help me use the sessions I'd already paid for. That never happened. At this point, I was working out on my own and no longer interested in personal training. In July 2025, I moved to San Diego and noticed I was now being charged twice monthly--$88 per charge. I contacted the San Clemente location and spoke to Lucca, who initially seemed helpful but has since failed to follow through. Despite multiple calls and voicemails (on 7/17, 9/4, 9/12, 9/18, 10/7, 10/8, 10/20, and others), I have not received any meaningful response from him or Monique, the district manager he claimed would contact me. I've been told repeatedly that someone would follow up--yet no one ever has. Because EOS Fitness failed to stop these unauthorized charges, I had no choice but to block further payments, which has now resulted in a negative balance in your system and a collections notice affecting my credit. This is unacceptable and entirely avoidable. Today, October 20, 2025, I noticed yet another $88 charge, along with an additional $102 annual fee. After everything I've outlined here, the continued billing is indefensible and borders on predatory behavior. Let me be extremely clear: * I am demanding immediate cancellation of my membership and personal training services. * I expect a full refund of all charges made since my original cancellation request on January 14, 2025. * I require confirmation that the collections report is withdrawn and my credit is restored. Your handling of this situation has been unprofessional, negligent, and entirely unacceptable for a company of your size. This issue has gone unresolved for nearly a year. When I first started going here this gym was really great. It's gone down hill a lot since. Management and staff (not all staff but a lot of them) lack professionalism. They always have a lot of staff members around throughout the morning and afternoon yet machines are always broken,the gym is dirty, and most of the time I'm here there's nothing to wipe down the machine after you use it cause people aren't refilling the paper towels or the spray at the stations. I had an issue of seeing a man take photos of me while I was working out and reported it to the staff. The girl who helped me was really kind and she appointed the issue to the manager. Obviously this issue isn't the staffs fault but the manager told me he'd be sure to give me an update about how he looked into this problem on the cameras. Never once was updated. Even sent an email asking about it but never was responded to. That kinda makes me doubt anything was even done about that. Today I was in the cryo chair in the recovery room and 5 minutes into my session someone turns all the lights on in the room and staff members come in and just start having a meeting in there. There was no sign on the door when I came in saying the room was closed but I saw they put one up when I left. It was really weird to sit in on their meeting. I also just find it to be bad judgement on managements part to close down an amenities room that members pay for to hold a meeting. I don't see why they couldn't do that somewhere else. I had forgotten my headphones today so I could hear the entire meeting and two staff members who sat across from me were being really obnoxious and trying throw paper into the trash can near me. They missed and the paper landed right by me and I heard one of them say "oh I'll just ask her to grab that when she's done." I finished in the chair and he tried to get my attention to pick up his mess up but I ignored him. Incredibly unprofessional to expect someone who is a paying member here to clean up after someone who is paid to work there. As of now this is the gym closest to my house and I don't have a ton of time to look around to go somewhere else but I've hit a point where I'll happily be canceling my membership by the end of October. read more
