I tried a variety of flavors such as: - 2025 Michael David Rosé (top favorite) - 2023 Inkblot Cabernet Franc - 2023 Red Freakshow Red Wine - 2024 Earthquake Zinfandel - 2022 Zinfandel Lust (top favorite) Ashley served a good handful of individuals, including myself. She was truly so knowledgeable about the wines and super hospitable as well. I appreciated her warm, amiable disposition. It truly made one of the greatest highlights during this visit. I decided to explore around the property. It was beyond gorgeous with beautiful decorations, blooming plants, water fountains + ponds, and so much more. The space was so inviting, it was a great atmosphere, especially for a date or to hang out with friends. Overall, I was amazed by the tasty, house-made wines and dazzling ambiance. I highly recommend stopping by.

They have a restaurant on premise that serves great farm to Fork meals. Everything is delicious but I highly recommend the chicken tortilla soup. One of the best I've ever had. The service is also excellent. In addition, on the outside patios on weekends they have a pizza oven and you can get fresh pizza. They also have food to go, and their pies are legendary Of course, they have a wine club which we have been members of for several years now and that's always a great deal if you like wines on a regular basis. Parking is phenomenal as they have a large area for parking. This is a great place to come for a party such as a birthday party or to meet friends and just hang out for the day.

Every time…read morewe visit Calivirgin Winery in Lodi, we always hope Rachelle is there--and that alone says a lot. She has a way of making each visit feel special without trying too hard. She's welcoming, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable, but never overwhelming. Instead, she creates a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. What really sets her apart is her consistency. It's not just one great visit--every time we've been there, she's gone above and beyond with the same positive energy and attention to detail. Because of her, this winery has become our go-to spot. I even celebrated my 50th birthday here, and it was such a memorable experience. All of my guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing Rachelle was--everyone felt taken care of, comfortable, and truly impressed with the service. The winery itself is beautiful, accommodating, and perfect for gatherings, which made the celebration even better. On top of that, the entire team at Calivirgin is fantastic. Everyone we've interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience. The wine is excellent, the setting is great, and the people are what truly make this place stand out for us. We'll absolutely keep coming back, and a big reason for that is Rachelle.

We stood 6+ people deep line of customers waiting to be acknowledged. There were a lot of other employees working... walking past us and chilling. I guess front desk was not a priority to have multiple people covering or filling in. I finally just asked if we could seat ourselves, which i was told I could go to bars. We ultimately had a good time and Sophia was good to us at the bar. As a student & ptomoter of "efficiency" & "customer service", i would love to impart some wisdom in these areas, to help your business thrive. Good & tasty products!

She is warm, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, and has a way of making every guest feel genuinely welcome. Every visit is relaxed, educational, and so much fun because of her. I recently brought my parents to visit from the East Coast. They loved the wines, but they loved Mary Lou even more! My dad is a longtime wine collector, and she took the time to share her knowledge and have thoughtful conversations with him that made the experience truly memorable. It wasn't just a tasting--it felt like spending time with someone who genuinely loves wine and loves sharing that passion with others. Of course, the wines are fantastic, but outstanding people are what keep us coming back. Mary Lou is a huge asset to this winery and one of the reasons we'll continue to be loyal members. If you're planning a visit, I hope you're lucky enough to have her as your host!

If you're looking for a venue for a birthday party, bridal shower, baby shower, anniversary celebration, retirement party, family reunion, or just a large gathering with friends and family, I highly recommend checking out Block 21. From the very beginning, Evonne was incredibly easy to work with. Communication was quick, planning was stress-free, and they made the entire process seamless. We hosted a private after-hours bday wine tasting for our guests, which made the celebration feel extra special. The venue is beautiful and welcoming, with plenty of parking, comfortable indoor seating, outdoor seating, and fire pits that made for the perfect atmosphere on a beautiful summer evening. Our guests loved being able to spread out, relax, and enjoy themselves. The wines were a huge hit with our group. My family absolutely loved the Symphony (what I like to call a "beginner's wine" because it's so approachable and easy to enjoy). My personal favorite was the Zinfandel, with the Cabernet as a close second. The Red Blend and Syrah were also excellent. Honestly, all of their reds were fantastic. While I'm not typically a white wine drinker, I appreciated the variety they offer. One of the things I appreciated most was how easy everything was. Fast responses, great communication, beautiful venue, wonderful hosts, and a memorable experience for our guests. We will absolutely be back for future events and are already looking forward to trying their sparkling wines ( coming soon!). If you're considering a venue for your next celebration or group outing, put Block 21 at the top of your list. You won't be disappointed! Let em know your fellow Yelper sent ya

They offered a beautiful outdoor patio seating and indoor wasn't bad either. We grabbed a seat at the bar while we waited for our reservation at Oak Farm down the street. We were greeted by Hal and the owner of this newer family run winery. They were both super friendly and welcoming. Block 21 wasn't here the last time I was in Lodi for wine and we were so happy that we started here. I look forward to coming back in the future. Everyone was so hospitable and their wines left a lastly impression. For a four year old winery, I should have bought more bottles. We had two of their "Limited Production flights,". They waived their $15 tasting fee, with purchase of a bottle. We loved their cabernet franc and viognier. I enjoyed all of their wines of their limited production list even their Rosé and personally I'm not typically a Rosé drinker, but enjoyed this one. I loved hearing the story of how they make tempranillo here. I love this Spanish wine and anyone who claims to make a good one, I'll try it. Hal was our favorite. We could have hung out with him all day. Thank you for your hospitality! If I had any regrets about this Lodi trip it was not spending more time at Block 21, our driver arrived earlier than expected. If you're visiting Lodi and like good wine and great service, come check out this beautiful vineyard. I'll be back next year and we hope to see you all again.
