Nathan showed up and was amazing! Unfortunately our system was not so great and basically died completely. Nathan tried everything he could but the situation was out of his hands. He quickly called the office and within an hour had Zia at our home to talk new systems. We were not expecting to need to purchase a new system and were pretty short on time, but Zia was amazing and explained everything in a quick manner. He answered all questions we had, and found the right system for us. Zia worked so fast that he was able to secure us an installation date for Friday of that week and not make us late to pick up our kids from school. Since we had to replace our roof last October, I had questions about how to not compromise our roof warranty with this work being done. Zia was once again amazing and did everything he could to explain everything and even 3-way called me and their roofing company so that I felt confident in what was going to be done. Today (Friday) Timothy and his crew showed up right on time and got to work. Took about 6-7 hours to take down and install. Cleaned up really nicely and answered all questions we had. Even a silly question I had about filters. Overall this experience was as easy as possible considering the situation. The tech who came to do the quote was supposed to be at my house between two and four. The company texted me at 3:30 to tell me he was running late; by the time he got to my house it was 4 PM. He was a very pleasant young man. Definitely respectful of the property, but in having him give me a quote, the methods at which they said they were gonna get power was just weird. They wanted to go through my fire extinguisher in my hallway instead of using the electrical receptacles that were already in my walk-in closet. It was quite odd to be honest. And then on top of that, the quote they gave me with asinine. Over $800 to put in one receptacle? This wasn't a complicated case. When he saw me balking at the price, he said well, we also do heating and cooling so if you want to sign up for $299 a year, we can give you 15% off the receptacle. I almost laughed. How ridiculous was that - trying to upsell me even more? Not only that, but according to this boy, they would probably have to cut through my drywall and have a patch job. I didn't realize it was a full company; otherwise, I would have not even contacted them. They were great at following up for the business, but not at the price at which they were quoting me. I found a contracted, licensed electrician who did it for me quickly and for less than half of what they were quoting me, and did impeccable work.

Called the company to do a repair and they were not really excited to come up from Fresno to replace the switch. At least that was the vibe I got from the woman who I spoke with. Right away I was not happy with their customer service. I checked Yelp and saw Cosmic Comfort installed whole house fans. I called and the woman who assisted me was upbeat and positive that they could fix my problem. I scheduled an appointment and Adam came out. Nice kid. Climbed in the attic and confirmed that the unit was good and needed a new switch. I decided to get a hard-wired switch and an appointment was scheduled. One thing I really liked was the communication through text messages. They also send you a photo of the technician that is responding to your house. I appreciated that and it makes good business sense. Issac and Freddie came out a few days later and completed the project. They were professional and the installation looked good. Isaac tested the switch and showed me how to use it. He had a tablet and processed my credit card through it. Easy peasy. Let's face it, electrical work is not cheap, but I felt it was a reasonable price especially considering my wife would stop reminding me that we needed to get it fixed before summer! I was happy with the whole process.

Today, Perez confirmed the switch could be defective. I agreed to have a new switch installed as the unit is several years old and electronic/electrical components wear out. $385.00 total. Came out for inspection and identified the problem and fixed it with no issues. Had them perform a maintenance to make sure everything else was running smooth and to also check our heater issue, so we will be good for the winter. Repairs cost less than the portable AC I was considering buying and done in a timely manner. So nice to be home in a cool house! Great communication, letting me know all the issues and the cost up front for approval to move forward. Highly recommend!
