ES has been a legit tuning shop since the 90s. I've seen a bunch of shops come and go through the years, but ES had held its ground. For awhile i thought that they closed down but found out that they had moved down the street. They been known to carry only quality brand parts or can order what you want for reasonable prices. The first time I stopped by ES I bought an air filter. They weren't overly busy at the time and they spent 45min helping me install it as it required a bit of custom work. I tried to give them money for all their help, but they would not accept it and just wanted to make sure I was happy with the item. Wow, how often does that ever happen?? I've come to find that the owner, Ming, is one of the most honest guys I've ever met, and their head mechanic Tetsuo is just as careful working on my car as if it was his own. After finding out that they do routine servicing and maintenance as well as performance upgrades for asian and european cars, I wouldn't trust my car anywhere else. read more

This shop serves serious cars lovers and ming is like a walking dictionary of car parts, pricing, in short.., extremely knowledgeable in every details about cars. Let me keep this short... Tetsu the mechanic is a great guy who knows his stuff... zero complaints with him.... Ming on the other hand is the owner who has serious passive aggressive issues along with poor people skills... 2 week job turned into 63 days... cost went hundreds of dollars above estimate.... extremely poor communication ... Had to pay 1/2 up front even though I supplied all the parts... 63 days of stress with Ming but Tetsu did a great job... read more

Total awesome experience overall! Couple years ago, I was introduced to this shop by most of the coworkers at work, as well as friends from church. (Apparently, everyone I knew goes to ES for their cars) I called in, as a new customer, Ming took time to understand my needs, having previously always gone to Toyota/Lexus dealerships for service, Ming and the staffs won me over with a better service experience and better prices. Being a car guy....I appreciate when you find honest, competent and professional people. This company is the real deal as advertised. Definitely go here for your auto needs, you will be pleased! Also...this is a fantastic place to go for service, we had tires done, brakes done, and routine services done, and have always been very satisfied. LoL...now ES is the to go tech shop for my entire family! I've been going to ES for a few years and Ming/Tetsu are legit. I blew my engine on my '03 IS300. He managed to get a low mileage 2JZ for a decent price. I've gone to get my car lowered with no problems. Routine oil checks are a breeze too. I would call ahead because they can get busy sometimes. I know some of you comment that Ming is rude or whatever, but he's definitely not. read more

I took my Acura with a Tein coilover system to e's to have stiffer springs installed as the current springs are way too soft. After installation, what I got were stiffer springs but now my car was 1 1/4 higher and I could not lower the car back to my current stace. I don't totally fault Ming as it was a technician at Tein who recommeded the springs but the correct springs should have been 2" shorter. But now I am left with a coilover system without any adjustability. Ming told me I couldn't return the springs since I drove on it, but I was their last installation, it was closing time and I had no choice but to drive home hoping the springs would settle. I trusted the experts at e's Technical Roadsports to help my with my suspension needs and they have accepted no responsibility nor have they tried to make things right. read more
