Beware of scams. I drove 2.5 hours to go look at a car with a really good report from carfax. The dealer sent me the vin # and I purchased a carfax report (which cost me about $30) I didn't want to waste my time driving out there so this assured me that he wasn't lying about the cars quality. But once I finally arrived he showed me the vehicle, exact model and color.. everything looked odd but I went along with it until, I checked the cars vin#- and it did not Match the vin # he provided me before I drove out there. He swapped vin# and tried to sell me a faulty car as another look alike. If you ever go Double check that the car he's describing and running records are the right ones. He will try and scam you and pretend it's a good clean title car. It's incredibly sketchy and rude and I wasted 5 hours in total for the drive drive. read more

Bought a 2015 Chevy Cruze in August 2022, from E-Star motors, one week after the purchase the check engine light comes on and starts over heating, took the car to local mechanic and he said the water pump had been bad for a while and was cleaned up enough to sell, the water pump was replaced, the next day the low oil pressure light come on and the engine shuts off, towed the car to the mechanic in Danville and they said the engine had numerous oil and coolant leaks inside the engine. Basically the engine was blown. Bought the car in August 2022 and as of today 12/5/2022 the car is still at the mechanic waiting for a new engine that cost $5000 not including labor to install the engine, also, we never received the DMV registration or title. Had to call E Star motors again ln November to have them complete the registration. If you buy from E Star motors, take the car to a dealer or mechanic to get the car inspected before purchasing, I would hate to see someone who saved their money to buy a car get a car that breaks down and needs thousands of $$$ to fix it! All the check system and maintenance lights came on within a week of purchase. Dealership giving me the run around and doesn't fix the car. Saying sensor problems. I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH EFE!!! I went in because I wanted to buy a jeep Cherokee 2014 they have. I called in before showing to see if it was available and they said yes, I asked to confirm the price which was 15k and they confirmed that it was right. So I drove from San Francisco to concord ready to buy the car with more than 80% cash down payment. When I get there I look at the car and they all of sudden raised the price to 16k! I asked if that was a mistake Efe said no. That it will only be 15k if I pay for it all in cash. Who does that?!! Who goes to a dealership to pay full price? Why say it's a price over the phone and another in person? That was the fist scam.. Then I asked if I could test drive it, and the car wouldn't even turn on!! He ran inside to grab some tools to fix something under the hood JUST to start the car. I asked what was wrong with the car he said nothing that it was "normal" because the car has just been sitting at the lot for a while. At this point he started to get super nervous and defensive. I told him if there's any problems with it because if there is I WILL return the car within the first 30days of purchasing the car or within the first certain miles because I know my rights. He literally got so mad, he slammed the car hood close and grabbed the car keys and said you want to buy it or not. I said of course that's why I'm here. I was only making sure everything is good with the car. That's a lot of money to not ask obvious questions! I asked if someone else was working because he CLEARLY didn't want to sell the car. I've been to a lot of dealerships from upscale to janky ones and I can say with confidence that Efe is the WORST sales man out there. He said he was only a "co-worker trying to make commission". I swear, I still can't believe this guy!! He was super rude and arrogant. I wish I would've recorded him so I can expose him. If you don't like your job get another one! I feel bad for the owner loosing customers over hiring the wrong "co-worker". Anyways, I'm glad I didn't buy this car after reading more Yelp reviews. They have really bad ratings!! Be careful you guys!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone!! Not even my worst enemy. Im sure dealers like this only fix cars to get them running out the lot then disappear. read more

I bought 13 Passat from e star in December. Made appointment came for test drive car was washed and ready for test drive. Checked at least 10 passages before them they had the cleanest and the cheapest one. Doing oil changes on time and driving it no problems at all. Will be back when I need another car. read more

Due to the experience I had recently with them, the only conclusion I cam draw is that guys are going to try to scam you. GO ELSEWHERE! Not only did they try to charges over $300 for buying protection that is free in the state of California, they also charged us almost $100 for a processing fee that is also supposed to be free. We also noticed a car that on Craigslist, was $500 less than what we were quoted on site when we inquired about it. As for the car we ended up walking away with - we were told that the AC definitely needed to be simply super charged and it would be just fine. They said it had just been working the previous week! It turns out there was a crack in the AC unit (over $1,000 worth of repairs needed to fix it). A repairman told us that we should have noticed the AC leak.... Be advised. Proceed with caution or really, just look elsewhere. read more

If I could I would give them negative stars. We purchased a car for my daughter in June 2019 from this company. They were nice and professional to start. We took the car for a test drive and had some questions when we got back. We asked about the jerking when you stop, we were told the car has a recall for the transmission and we could take it to ford to have it taken care of. We were also told the car was equipped with Bluetooth and that it worked. My daughter has taken it to Ford and they told her it would cost us $2000 to get the transmission fixed, due to the recall had expired in March of 2019. The dealer should have had this fixed and come to find out the blue tooth or the USB ports do not work in the car either. These people are not trustworthy and should not be in business. We called to talk to the owner he would never call us back. We do not recommend this company or there employees. read more

I purchased a vehicle from these guys in october. The vehicle Looked clean and on the test drive seemed to be ok, for a 2002. But, after Only two months, not many miles, I am experiencing many problems with the vehicle. All of which should have been adressed before this car left thier lot. Nash at E star motors is a class act guy. My car was totaled and I have no idea what I want to replace it with. Confused and still numb from having to part with my paid off car. I dread getting back into a car note lifestyle. Nash was sympathetic and suggested cars that I can purchase out right with my insurance check that would fit my needs. He was informative and patient with me. He has a nice selection of older model great values and cars just a couple years old. I didn't find the car that was perfect for me.
