I'm shocked by the amount of positive reviews for EA Carpet Cleaning. I contacted Elias via Yelp because I needed pet stains removed from my carpet. I sent him pictures and he said he could make them look better. I also gave him a heads up that I treated the stains with an enzyme cleaner. After Elias left, my carpet was sopping wet and even more so in the areas that were stained. It took 4 days for the carpet to dry in 80+ degree weather. After it dried, the stains looked WORSE than before - they turned a dark yellow and felt crusty and had a soapy film. My MIL came by and was shocked, she said our carpet looked terrible. I immediately contacted Elias and he shifted blame. He said he found more stains than I was aware of (true), he doesn't remove all stains from carpet (he didn't remove a single stain and made them worse when he said he could make them better), and that I didn't tell him I used a cleaner on the stains (false). I asked him to come back to fix it (he did not offer, mind you). Elias came back and flushed the stains and said the carpet would dry much quicker this time. As he was going, I noticed some spots he missed and areas that he needed to go over again. I pointed them out and he was definitely reluctant to do so. I did another walk through and saw more spots he missed in the last bedroom. I went to look for him and noticed he just left without saying anything! I got a text about 20 minutes later again shifting the blame. He said he did all he could do after 2 hours and he got out a lot of soap that was "previously" there. First off, I didn't use soap, and secondly, if he found stains that I didn't know about, who put the soap there?! It took another 3 days for the carpet to dry and it only looked 50% better (but still worse than before the intial cleaning). I had to hire another carpet cleaner to fix Elias' mess and he was so much more knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. It's apparent to me that Elias has no idea what he's doing, lacks professionalism, and is lazy. Save yourself the trouble and money and hire someone else. read more
