Took my car here they had it for 2-3 days charged me over 1200$ just to identify that my cars motor was blown. If anybody's is unaware a compression test takes literally 5 minutes, and then any other inspecting wouldn't take another 2 or 3 days to get done. After they told me the issue I said I was going to come pick up the car because their labor charge was way to high already and the work hadn't even started yet. When they were putting my spark plugs back in they snapped a spark plug on cylinder 6. I assume they probably torqued it down with an electric ratchet as hard as they could which most mechanics should know you don't use an electric ratchet on spark plugs to begin with. No less torque it down to the point where the spark plug snaps. Just got an update from the machine shop that their little mistake with that spark plug is going to cost me an additional 250$ because of how bad it is and now my head has to be re threaded. When I went to tow the car I realized nothing was put back together and they said they would charge another 1200$ just to put it back together. I told them never mind I'll do it myself obviously. I wouldn't ever recommend this shop to anyone with a german car either their mechanics don't know how to work on them or they simply just don't care. Sucks because I chose this place after looking at the reviews and I thought it was going to be a great shop that I wasn't already familiar with. Point of the story is they realized what my issue was, didn't care anymore after they realized I wasn't going to deal with their pricing and made my situation worse by adding an additional problem. read more

I did not have a service done here; however, I just called about getting a service done and I really appreciate their honesty. They advised against what I wanted to do and stated that I didn't really need the service. That speaks volumes about their character. Most other shops would have me come in and do a service that I really didn't need just so they can make the money. This will definitely be my go to shop for any future work needed. read more

These people are price gauging animals they charged me $659.02 for an electric water pump for my 2011 BMW 535i $5.64 for the water pump bolt set $ 30.00 for coolant and $650.00 for labor they discounted me $48.63 for part discount and $45.50 for labor discount but charged me $62.63 for haz/supply fee WOW SUCH RIP OFFS !!!! My work came out to 1,371.00 for a water pump change !!! i asked them can I get my own parts they said yes but talked against me getting China parts they recommend it's not good in so many words let me mention the part from China is 180.00 through Amazon the wait is longer but I believe NOW it's probably worth it and it's probably good . I didn't do my research until after my car was completed I trusted them but now I see I shouldn't have . I went to Bimmer parts and went to check prices afterwards and for $ 429.00 I could have burchased the whole set for that price which includes the coolant and bolts .. Bimmer Workshop is the best alternative opposed to talking your car to the BMW dealership. I recently had to replace a window motor and wheel bearing and they are reasonably priced, about 100 bucks cheaper than the dealership and they treat you like a human opposed to the issues that I have had at various Houston BMW dealerships. They pinpoint the exact problem and even show you if you want. They do not try to add anything extra but they will let you know things you should keep up on in the future. read more

I used to take my car to Bimmer work shop whenever I had issues with my 3 series, but Im sure that I wont be taking my car here any longer. This place used to be what car a shop should be - reasonably priced, quick, and honest. Unfortunately it seems like the last part of that is not true anymore. I took my car in for a simple oil change. Before I took it in there were very few other issues with it. The same day I got it back the check engine light comes on and I can tell immediately that something is not right with the car. The engine sounds and feels as if it is being overworked to the point where I don't feel safe driving it. I called the shop to tell them the situation only to be stonewalled. John insisted that the mechanic did not look at the engine when I clearly remember him telling me they would look at the spark plugs as they might be due for a change, but after the problem arose they ardently denied that they ever looked at the engine. John and one of their mechanics got very defensive ( to the point of being rude) and ardently claim that my engine troubles must be a coincidence... Yea as if no one had ever heard that from a car shop before. Long story short- I came in to have routine work done to my car and ended up having engine issues that were not present before getting it ' serviced there'. My advice if you want good, honest service- dont go here, find another BMW shop, there are many in Houston. read more

Customers be aware. I made the mistake of taking my Bmw to this shop just to have a bad experience. I towed my car thinking It would be fix by these people but, after spending about $3,000. They gave up, They couldn't fix it with the excuse "that Engine wasn't good but They would install a use engine for 7,000. more dollars but, We are talking of 2003 530i. Let me explain what happened. After my car overheated We Parked it and decided to tow it to this shop. They replaced some parts for about $2,000., It was "tested " They said the engine was good " but guess what!! In the next week overheated again so, They replaced the radiator for other $1,000. dollars two days after overheated again. So I was told They wouldn't touch the motor but The best solution was to replace my engine for a "used one" REALLY? I felt I have been scam so I took It European Shop in South Houston. Had my BMW towed there after I had flood damage and specifically told them to not work on it until my insurance adjuster looked at it. I also told them that if the insurance was going to total out my car, there was no point in even trying to fix it. The next day my insurance arrived at the shop and they didn't want to release the vehicle because apparently they worked on my car without my consent. Bimmer Workshop threatened that if I didn't pay them for holding the vehicle and the diagnostic they did, they would not release the vehicle to me or the insurance. After after a long argument with the front desk employee about how I never authorized them to work on my car, they finally released my car. It seemed like they wanted to force the insurance to pay them to repair the vehicle. The insurance ended up making my car a total loss and I learned to never do business at this place ever again. read more
