    Bathroom ants.
    Nikki G.

Stayed here overnight. I understand it's an older facility however, the issues should definitely be addressed. For some odd reason every time the shower was used ants would take over the bathroom. It was apparent they forgot to vacuum. Finally the shower head leaked and dripped onto the metal tub faucet making a ping all night. Draped a towel over it for some peace and quiet. I made the issues known at the front desk. Unit 146 needs to be off limits until issues are resolved.

View from the 2.3 mile trail - lovely!

My husband and I recently stayed here and were concerned before our stay after seeing some of the reviews but had a truly lovely stay. Could the Lodge use some updating - yes? Did my headboard make me suspect someone was railed pretty hard while wearing the Crown Jewels, also yes. However, the staff was lovely and the grounds are BEAUTIFUL. Lots of pools, hiking, great spa and 4 golf courses. Very nice place. Suspect it would be perfect for golfers and families.

The rooms were completely outdated. My room was dingy and dirty. The headboards were worn, the bathroom had mold and the soap station was rusted. A wad of hair was in the tub. The staff offered to move me to a new room but could not guarantee that the quality would be improved. I did not stay the second night and left early.

We just visited this resort for our second time. We didn't hold high expectations for the rooms as we know they are outdated. However, our daughter loves the pool there so we came back solely for that reason. How could this go wrong with no expectations? The air conditioning in our room did not work. We asked the hotel staff twice to have someone go into our room, check it and try to adjust the thermostat in case we were not setting it correctly. They did the checks while we were out and about and provided zero update to us. The air conditioning was clearly broken because the only they did was leave a fan on the floor. They didn't offer us a different room. They didn't offer a discount on our stay. The response when we finally went back to the front desk was, "sorry that happened to you." What? Seriously? The room never got below 77. That's unacceptable! And for them to basically tell us to suck it up when we paid $418 for two nights is a slap in the face. With that, I might as well show the issues with the room which I would of never noted if they would have simply offered us a new room with working AC. See the pictures; dirty, broken, too worn not to replace. My wife and I are not the type of people to throw fits in order to get our way, so we just dealt with it. Too bad they won't make an effort to help nice people and returning guests.

Disintegrating headboard of bed. The other queen bed was in the same condition. It was flaking off onto the pillows.

Eagle Crest has seen better days. We stayed in the lodge for two nights. The first thing I noticed was the crumbling fake leather headboard behind the bed. Pieces of the crumbling headboard were scattered over the pillows of both queen beds in the room. If I were the manager, I'd be ashamed of renting a room looking like this. Second, was the bed. I don't think I've felt a harder bed other than laying on concrete. I woke up with aching shoulders and hips, and it didn't help my sciatica either. The bedding was fine, but scratchy. Third, when trying to operate the HVAC system from the wall control, all you could do is turn it on or off. Went to the unit under the window and lifted the control cover, which came off in my hand. Was able to adjust things on the unit, and luckily, it wasn't obnoxiously loud when it cycled on and off during the night. Fourth, while entering the shower, I noticed a number of long black hairs stuck to the wall. These were not from my head as I hadn't gotten into the shower yet. Fifth, there were no USB ports of any kind in the room. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring the part to my phone's charger that plugs into the wall, thinking I could just plug into a port, which almost all hotels have these days. Nope! No such luck. Nothing in the lobby either, and the front desk said, "Sorry." The only good thing was that the shower provided (after I cleaned the walls of someone else's hair) plentiful hot water. We paid $161 a night plus taxes and fees, for two nights, which came to $380. For that amount of money I expect a room that is just a little more comfortable than what we received. Eagle Crest needs to go through their rooms and make some updates including replacing shabby looking headboards, electrical outlets that have USB connectors, and a housecleaning staff that pays more attention to the cleanliness of the bathrooms.

Great location for outdoor adventure. The sports centers are good for indirect fun. Many choices for accommodations. First visit we stayed in smaller, older condo right in gold course. Second visit was in 2 bedroom condo overlooking the river. Both served our needs well. Great walking trails, 3 gold courses and putt-putt gold course. Have fun!

I was nervous checking in early due to other reviews however we were checked in an hour early. I did notice housekeeping was still cleaning the rooms next to ours, so I coukd understand why there might be a wait. Walking in to the unit, the first thing I noticed was cool air. Since it was 90+ outside, I was pretty happy. The room looked clean and well appointed. Wifi only avail for a fee. Seriously? I've never been required to pay for wifi, so it Toilet was stopped up, but the plunger in closet did the trick. No dresser, which is weird for a timeshare with week-long stays. About an hour after arrival someone from the front desk called to make sure we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch. Or they new about the toilet issue... Our one bedroom unit was clean. There was a noticeable lack of cabinetry. All the plates and bowls were stored where an oven would be. That meant no oven, only a cook top. But we were aware of this prior to check in. My teen said the pullout couch was "a pull-out couch" so I guess that means average comfortability? Due to covid we did not use the pool or any other amenities besides the washer and dryer. Which by the way, you didn't have to pay for. This was a nice treat since we pay about $3 per load of laundry at our home timeshare. If you are going to be in the area, highly recommend, just be careful where you park. Some one hit our car with there door, leaving a nice crease.

Babies cannot swim in most of the pools. No one will tell you this until you haul all of your kids down to the pool just to be turned away
