His staff was very efficient and friendly. I was in and out in record time with new glasses ordered! I was delighted when they came in earlier than estimated also... now in the past I've had difficulty getting use to new glasses (trifocals). However it seemed that the transition was quicker and easier. I'm doing well with new set and looking to have my other glass lens updated. Prices were reasonable also!

I was shown the photographic images of my eyes as he explained what we were seeing. I have some issues with my retinas that he was able to show me where, and what was happening with them. He was reassuring to me as I had concerns from a prior diagnosis done at a large local eye center where I felt "herded" through and dismissed. This office is so kind, personal and caring. I want to add a full-throated endorsement of Dr. Loftus' abilities and professional manner. I have a long history of being disappointed at the optometrist's because I have a difficult prescription. Even if they get it right, the lenses often come back with issues that make them unusable. This has become especially problematic in the past 15 or so years, with all the new new materials they use to slim down lens thicknesses. I had several visits with Dr. Loftus, both for a new eyeglass prescription and for new contacts. I just received my eyeglasses yesterday and they're PERFECT. It's been a long time since I got good lenses on the first go and I am really enjoying them. Additionally, I'd like to mention that the office staff are competent, efficient and friendly. I opted to bring in my old Dunhill frames for my new lenses. This was not a problem either! The lens makers did a good job - they're not metal frames and could have easily cracked as they're over 30 years old - well... they're just fine too and I am wearing them now. Just like old times. Now I get to look just like I did in the 80s! Well, not really, but I can't blame Dr. Loftus for that. See Dr. Loftus and you will see better!

I had the eye exam on 9/3025 and it took until 12/30/25 to actually get the glasses because of her not doing her job correctly. I have gone there about 20+years and this was not the first time she would not bill VSP correctly. I am praying for her because it's very obvious there is something not right in her life. She can destroy Cascade eye center if she doesn't stop her outrageous actions, or maybe she should not work there. It would be nice if she, or someone would at least apologize.

This was fine for me so I went through with the appointment. When it came time to check out I was actually billed $228, when I mentioned I was quoted something much different over the phone, I was told there was nothing they could do and that they don't know who would have said that (which is weird to me considering how small the clinic is). They either need to do a better job coaching their front office staff, or they need to honor what customer has been told to avoid other unfortunate discrepancies resulting in lost clients.

My new one was transplanted by Dr. Oliva on June 4th, 2024 still going strong 6+ months Later. I feel very grateful to have such a skilled professional working on my eyes. He was seen at the medical Eye Center in May and found that he needed cataract surgery. We needed to do that after the six month mark from the heart surgery. So we made an appointment in August one week after the six month mark. The morning of our appointment in August they called and canceled it because we need a clearance from the doctor. I don't know exactly why is it that we could not have been told this in May, June or July? Why so cavalierly waste our time over something that they knew ahead of time they needed? It's not respectful it's not efficient and it's definitely no way to treat people.
