Poor customer service. My husband and I walked in and were neither greeted nor given any direction on where to check in for the range. When we asked about a membership, we were rudely told we would have to pay for multiple fees plus the membership ($114 + $50), with no clear explanation. Despite this, we decided to stay and shoot. Later, we asked another employee about the membership, and he took the time to explain it thoroughly and encouraged us to sign up. He then asked another employee to help us with the signup and refund what we had been incorrectly charged. That employee was polite and genuinely tried to help, even asking for assistance from the GM. Unfortunately, instead of being helped, another employee stepped in with an attitude and stated that the membership cost was non-negotiable and that we would still be paying essentially the same amount, minus $5.41. He spoke as if we weren't even standing there. Shortly after, another employee joined with the same dismissive attitude and offered no help. We thanked the one employee who was kind and professional but ultimately decided not to sign up for the membership. I did not appreciate the negative attitudes and unwelcoming environment created by the majority of the staff. Wow! I'm on my 3rd background check of no fault of my own. Having a business and handling business is 2 separate things. Proper notification was not given about the background check approval and timeframe. When going to pick up my purchase I was told by a manager it needed to be redone because it expired, so he then resubmitted my background. I received a call October 2nd, 2025 stating my background was approved for the 2nd time. I go to pick it up Sun., October 5th, 2025 and was told there was a problem with the way the manager inputted the information and I may have to do a 3rd background. Somebody please tell me what's going on here???? At this point I just want my purchase and I'm done. Terrible service! Proper training of the people is imperative. Last Summer of 2025, I went there during a hot after noon and was surprised to see they had NO airconditioning in the gun range only some large fan. After sweasting for about 25 Minutes i had to leave as the gun grip became to wet to hold. a s usual they had no explaination but to blame it all on the heat, and they the range was so hot. My other issue is that dark lonely rifle range where they have no air conditioning as well. Its like you are living in the 1950's or something. As for the prices? A simple paper target cost $1.50. It can be much better if they took time to put themselves in the plavce of the customers they see every day. read more

Horrible, absolute HORRIBLE place to support, let alone visit. Their employees are not knowledgeable, lack experience, lack common sense and unfortunately are un-educated low paid employees that simply don't know how to act or respect customers. I'm a competitive shooter, USPSA. Also, I happened to be a combat military veteran, public servant, and proud American which happens to suffer from combat related war injuries due to my service to this great country, called, AMERICA! I also proudly display an Illinois license plate that clearly state "Disabled Veteran." I got personally harassed, threatened by employees of this god awful business establishment which discriminated upon my disability and even made fun of it by calling me disrespectful names such as, "midget, dwarfs, bully" etc all because of a misunderstanding that should've been addressed and handled professionally. Unbeknown to them that I knew where this entire incident was going to go I recorded the entire incident with my phone which I placed inside my pocket with the record button activated to records the horrendous experience that I experienced... I am going to create a website with photos and recordings of such incident. Also, I am going to contact the Mayor of Oak Forest and asked him to pull their business license for discriminating upon a disabled veteran! Maybe they feel threatened because American veterans visit and support their business even though their actions don't reflect good leadership. Or maybe they discriminate because they happen to be from the Middle East and just maybe they feel uncomfortable knowing that Police, Firefighters, and Military personnel visit their establishment? I personally, don't know what the problem is but something is most definitely wrong with whomever manages the so called, Eagle Sports Range. Did I mentioned also that this place is RIDICOUSELY expensive with their pricing? Guns are overpriced! They prey on none-educated minorities and sadly, undervalue their employees and staff by paying them a miserable wage. Great place for target shooting. The employees are always really friendly and welcoming. The facility is large, well lit and we'll stocked. For shooting you need to pass up the front desk and head back to the range counter. I feel like this could have better signage because it's not immediately apparent when you first walk in, but folks are always happy to point you in the right direction. The RSOs here are less aggro than some of the other places around the Chicago area (there used to be a guy at Article II who was just a nasty rude jerk). But they still work to keep everyone safe and having a good time. Remember the safety rules and you'll be just fine. I always really enjoy shooting at Eagle. read more

Everything is overpriced, range is not acceptable for the $40.00 dollars I paid to shot my rifles, the target holder kept getting stacked at the 45 yrds distance? And you only have 1 hr. I stayed a bit longer to make up the time. Bathrooms smell so disgusting, crap literally all over the walls. For a place that portraits it's self as a state of the art... Was in from out of town and wanted to try this. I have never even held a firearm before and was very nervous. The instructor who helped me, Ali, was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He understood this was my first time and allowed me to ease into the experience at my own pace. He guided me through the whole process, educated me on pistol safety, how to handle a firearm, loading, aiming, shooting, etc. - all with extreme patience, customer courtesy and care. He was also very encouraging which settled my nerves. Aside from a great experience and excellent customer service- the range itself is very clean and organized. There is a lot of range space, so I never felt confined. The ear and eye protection equipment was also clean and not at all torn or worn out which was a plus. i bought a $1400 FN 509 pistol with a red dot on the advice of Malik. i cannot blame them for recommending the super expensive pistol with the crappy trigger instead of what I had in mind BUT I have a huge problem with selling a pistol with a red dot that is not sighted in and then having the audacity to charge for that service. I won't even purchase paper targets from these rip off artists. I come in, look around, but ALL purchases will occur elsewhere until they make this right. Replaced the red dot with one I bought online and took it to a different shop and they mounted and sighted for free! (I was happy to tip). I was visiting from Los Angeles and wanted to take my niece to an indoor shooting range close to the Southside of Chicago, so I Google searched "indoor shooting ranges" in the Chicago area and discovered Eagle Sports Range. Since I was unfamiliar with the Illinois laws and regulations governing the handling of firearms, I called Eagle Sports Range a week prior to my visit and spoke with a staff member named Entias. I told him I was a California CCW license holder, but my niece was an Illinois resident with NO F.O.I.D. and asked if she would be able to shoot "rental guns" with me and he said "She's O.K. to shoot with you as long as you have a valid CCW and she is 18 years or older." So, on Thursday, July 6th, my niece and I went to Eagle Sports Range to shoot some guns. The facility from the outside was large and very well kept. When we entered the facility, we were joyfully greeted by a pretty young girl and a handsome guy and they directed us to the rental counter where we met Aaron Smith. Aaron asked for our credentials and questioned whether either of us had a F.O.I.D. and I explained I was from California and only had my CCW license and my niece would be shooting with me under my CCW credentials. Aaron himmed and hawed and said my niece could only shoot if she had a F.O.I.D. I told him I called a week ago and Entias said it was no problem to shoot under my CCW, but Aaron explained this was not correct! I, as well as my niece, were very upset and disappointed and we both felt we made a wasted trip, since she couldn't shoot. Aaron apologized profusely for the misinformation Entias provided and explained if I had the F.O.I.D., she could shoot without having a F.O.I.D. of her own. Aaron even went to his Manager who said "no" as well. Aaron was super nice and despite the let down and disappointment, he made a negative situation a positive, so we both decided to stay and I was able to shoot several different types of handguns and shot 100 rounds of 9mm. Upon entering the shooting range, Aaron introduced us to the RSO, range safety officer, a retired Chicago P.D. officer named Tim Brooks! OMG, super nice Guy and very friendly! We immediately connected as he liked my Smith & Wesson M&P t-shirt I was wearing. After getting a brief spiel about the indoor range and a few words of safety, my niece and I entered the shooting range and had some fun. Even though she was unable to handle the firearms, I was able to show her the proper handling of the guns and how to load the magazines using the Uplula loading tool. After we finished, we had a great conversation with Tim Brooks and he even offered me some pointers on how to shoot more accurately by just modifying my grip on the pistol grip. Both my niece and I learned quite a bit from Tim Brooks and another Eagle Sports Range staff member in a burgundy Eagle Sports Range t-shirt. The inside of the facility was state of the art compared to those I frequent in L.A. and the prices were reasonable. Restrooms were clean, so I'm not sure where some of the other "2 star" comments came from where they said the "bathrooms smell so disgusting, carp literally all over the walls?" It sure looked clean and smelled fine to me! The entire staff at this facility were super knowledgeable and friendly and my niece and I are definitely returning! Next time, my niece will have her F.O.I.D. Thank you, Aaron and Tim, for turning a disappointing start of our first visit to a positive and memorable experience. If it weren't for Aaron and Tim, I would have given this review a "3 star" rating, instead of a "5 star" rating. I would definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends! read more

I used the range to check the functioning of a new firearm and the range officer was more than helpful and I did appreciate him offering to oil the firearm. Came in around noon on a Thursday. Wasn't a lot of people in the pistol room but it quickly got busy. Tim is the reason I'm giving this place 5 stars. He was amazing and very helpful as far as understand how to shoot, how to work with a pistol and etc. We were first timers but he helped us feel so much more comfortable with guns after leaving. I'm not sure what the average price is for gun ranges but it was $80 for two people. We had to rent a pistol and pay for glasses and ear plugs as well. The range is very nice and clean. The other customers were nice and I never felt uncomfortable. The lady who rung us out could've been a bit more descriptive on what gun to choose with a slight walk thru of options. Clean, professional, and welcoming! Unlike almost every other range/shop in the area. Walk into most ranges and they make you feel suspicious but at Eagle you feel like a valued guest. I began my bachelor party here and it was awesome! The counter staff are very friendly and helpful. It's obvious that they want you to be safe and enjoy your experience. The range is clean, bright, cool, and well ventilated. Lots of room to set up, observe, and move around. Monitored by range officers who ensure safety in a courteous and professional manner. We rented the AK for the full auto experience. It jammed a couple times but an employee was there to fix it and make sure that we had the best experience. Then we put some through the BMG at the end. Jut not a good place to purchase a firearm. Range and Gun Prices are way out of site there. Range is not as open as it should be. Some of the air is filtered but you still will breathe that smoke from range at times. Staff is ok. Range fees are costly as compared to a range that is not to far from this location. Been here a handful of times, been to the indoor range over 4 times now and needless to say although I haven't been to any other range this one is one I go back to continuously, cheap rate for renting a lane $20-$25 depending if you buy target practice sheets, and they do not have a time limit for how long you stay either so if you have plenty of ammo you don't need to pay per hour, I also had the experience of buying my first gun here, although it was on the pricey side of Caniks msrp $429 and theirs was $479 but I can't complain, sorry for anyone who has had a bad experience here because the staff is always friendly and willing to show you the ins and outs of any gun you want to look at or are thinking of purchasing while adding their own thoughts on it or recommending something similar or within your budget. read more

I bought my gun from buds and had it shipped to them it took 7 days for them to call me when they said 1-3 and I payed buds extra for faster delivery and that's what happen and I payed for the transfer and background and they wouldn't let me take my gun cause I smelt like weed and have to come back later and I wasn't even the driver after you pay for transfer and background and it's clear like he said it all mines your supposed to denie before the person do the transfer and background and mine went straight through never again read more
