When the guy got there, he didn't even say hello. He immediately just started complaining his back hurt and that he might have to call his boss. My main complaint is that when he tried to start my car, after i told him it wouldn't start and a AAA tech already had come out, he tells me "time to get a new car, your engine is completely gone. I can tell.". My car is only a 2013 and never yet had any issues so this seemed unlikely. Then he tries to get me to bring my car to his cousin's mechanic shop "Ty's". The whole thing made me completely uncomfortable and felt sketchy. I told him no and that I wanted him to bring it to my mechanic down the road as requested. I felt like he was trying to rip me off and I felt really uncomfortable as he left with my car. (Oh by the way, my mechanic said I just needed spark plugs. The ran all tests and fuel pump and all other parts were fine). To add to this, since the moment he got there he was complaining about his back hurting and didn't want to do the job. Although on a human level I was sorry to hear his back hurt, professionally it had nothing to do with me and he shouldn't have been working that day if he was in too much pain to get on the ground to hook up my car to the tow. Overall it was a really bizarre experience.

One company quoted us the next day service, which was impossible since he was at a mountain with no lodging and temps were 22 and dropping. After our third cancellation at 7pm, I received a call from Thumbs up, that they were coming to our rescue. They kept us updated on their arrival time and drove well out of their area to come help us. They were courteous, told us exactly what they were doing, and for everyone's safety, checked our ID's to make sure we were the ones who were supposed to be at this car to be opened. I honestly don't know what we would have done if Thumbs Up hadn't come. Thank you so much!
