I went here having seeing it at the golf cart parade hidden. the outside was almost as worse as inside: very strange people hanging out on the balcony and it was not clean whatsoever. walking in was even worse. it smelled AWFUL in the store itself. the clothing is not great quilaty but I will say the sweatshirts and T shirts are some more reconaziable brands. I got a sweatshirt from the varsity brand which I've paid 40-50 dollars for. I paid 24 for this! the same brand -they didn't bother taking off the og tags but added a red sticker on top showing the price. the sweatshirts were so cute and the T shirts. everything else sucked. it looked like something from the 90s. I brought in a coupon that I had purposely put in the address that was on the coupon and was immediately shut down when I presented it to the cashier. she wasn't very friendly and only said my price and thank you. the 'bag' they gave my for my sweatshirt and a bracelet (which was only 6 dollars and looked just like a bracelet I saw at OIB fishing comp. for like 5 dollars cheaper) was a legit take out bag. I will say , the sweatshirts at OIB fishing company were 40-50 bucks. if you want a cute sweatshirt or if it's too cold splash is a good option. if you want a cute t shirt just go down to OIBFC. it may be more pricey , but , they have much better quality in other items!

Sorry it's just ridiculous how many of these stupid stores are out there! Yeah I've bought from them but it's still crazy the number of them. Ok so Tsunami is a good shop for name brands like Reef, Hurley, Volcom, Sanuk, Oakley, Billabong, etc. They have toys and beach gear for little ones. Boogie boards, SUPs, skateboards, and even Elvis towels! Did you hear me, Elvis people!! Also they have the hokey glass dolphin trinkets that seem to still be stocked on shelves even though its not 1976 anymore... Yeah... Epic

What you get is a big selection of just about everything you might need for the beach, from attire to sunblock and towels, to gear. The staff were friendly. Parking is ample. The only thing I'd nitpick is that prices were a little high. For example, you can get some of the same sunblock at the nearby supermarket (I think it's a Publix) for a couple of bucks cheaper. So if I could speak to the owners, I'd tell them to have a little more sense about those kinds of prices or risk losing customers. Overall though, it's actually one of the better beach type stores I've been in.

There's also very cute and funny beach themed decor. I also love the fact they have books about the kindred box. While it was touristy stuff, it made me happy to see so much Carolina stuff as a long time resident of them. NC hats, SSB stuff, and even simple little toys for the kids. The lady at checkout helped me pick the right size for a sweater I wanted. If it wasn't for her telling me I could try it on in a back room I never would've gotten the appropriate size. She was very kind and down to earth. Was a nice end to my trip there.

Update about COVID-19: Shopping at EG has continued to be relaxing in the wake of this pandemic. When you enter you are greeted with hand sanitizer and a brief message regarding their COVID-19 policies. There are arrows throughout the store regarding the flow of shopping traffic, only one person is allowed at the register at a time, clothing try-ons (as well as the dressing room) are disinfected prior to returning to the sales floor, and there are limitations with returns to ensure the safety of future shoppers. I enjoyed being able to shop leisurely and have a relaxing retail therapy session while also knowing that the current pandemic is being taken seriously and my safety was a top priority.
