I came back and asked for compensation and her reply was...I had 10K put into repairs and new propeller no one else complained last 5 days. I said I dont care about the last 5 days...Im telling you it is not working. She legit walked away. I was calmly speaking to her and just walked away. When I originally walked up and asked where to check in to a stranger, he said right there and good luck! The gas attendant at the marina said he had 5 other boat rentals complain about this old lady. Not a good experience at all.

The kitchen had a full refrigerator and was even stocked with spices. The view from the suite is panoramic and breathtaking. You get a whole semi-circle of windows facing the lake and marina, and it's fun to watch the boats come and go. One day we rented a small boat and it was nearly new, in immaculate condition. The grounds are beautiful with many many flowers everywhere, and rope lights around the grounds at night. We also enjoyed riding the local dirt roads on our bikes - very scenic rides available. The bed was luxuriously soft, so if you need a firm mattress, just do what we did and bring a camping mattress just in case - plenty of room to spread that out if needed.

As one person said, "It's a place where a handshake still means something," and that couldn't be more true. The genuine hospitality and sense of community made this stay one we'll always remember. The location is perfect, just a short drive to Silverwood Theme Park and Farragut State Park, yet it feels far from the busy destinations. There's a lot of interesting history in the area too, such as the nearby Navy Post. It's quiet, relaxing, and the perfect place to slow down and reconnect. We can't wait to come back!

It was just prior to Memorial Day weekend, so spring had sprung we had geese with babies parade through our yard and private beach. There were bald eagles and deer everywhere. We had one bald eagle that sat on a tree for hours almost every day. The natural beauty is unrivaled and the owner and his son were so helpful and friendly. We sat for hours outside just enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife. Farragut State Park is literally right next door to the resort, a must see. We loved it there so much that we would love to retire to the area. Thank you for an amazing stay and the most adorable cabin and private beach. Also, everything you could possibly need is in the cabin, including a wine opener so you don't have to bring one. Thank you for making our 25th wedding anniversary so magical!!!!

Worst camping experience EVER!!! Do not park your RV here! We were looking for a location close to…read moreSilverwood, (their RV sites were all full.) Also, Farragut state park was full. So located Scenic Marina and RV. After driving around trying to find the place we finally were able to navigate to the office. Check-in went smoothly 140$ for 2 nights. A guy on a golf cart drove us to our spot. The RV spots are cut into a hill above their office location. There are multiple spots on each strip. Unfortunate for us we ended up on the top spot which also happens to be right next to the road. So we had fast driving motorcycles, golf carts, and vehicles flying past our trailer slide out. Any closer and they would have have drove through it. Next was the issue of the multiple sites on each strip. Next to us we were shocked to see a single wide manufactured trailer. Apparently they rent these out?!? The individual staying in the shabby looking trailer next to us drove his motorcycle right through our camping spot about 20 min after we arrived! We were horrified-as we have little kids. So my husband tracked down the guy on the golf cart and asked him if our neighbor for the next two days had another way out. He assured us he did. Which yes, he did but it was through the folks campsite directly below us! And that person was staying in a tent trailer. Finally my last major problem with this place was the insanely LOUD TECHNO MUSIC playing until all hours of the night. All that was missing was a strobe light. I was able to turn on the fan in our trailer to drown out the rediculous racket but again felt seriously bad for the individual in the tent trailer because he pry didn't have that luxery. Come to find out there is overflow RV parking at Silverwood (just the gravel parking lot) on the side of the parking lot. Of course there is no hookups but I would have been so much happier paying 25$ and avoiding the drive back and forth, saved money on the 5$ parking fee in addition to the reservation somewhere else and the misery of staying at this dump!!!! I am not generally someone who writes reviews but I wouldn't stay here again even if they paid me too. Even the "view" that they mentioned during the reservation process was blocked by the sight of another single manufactured home (green paint chipping off) below us. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
