I was in town visiting and thought I would check out this dive bar in Inglewood. I have to say the service was pretty good. There was a show going on that night. A few different bands were playing. And I think the bartender and I can't remember her name she handled the crazy crowds extremely well. I also have to know that this is a beer only bar so they do not have liquor or food or anything else. It was a nice show to stumble upon. read more

Beer and wine only. Didn't expect that from saloon. If you want to play pool it works though because lack of hard liquor makes it easier to get a table. Keep the men's bathroom door closed and pool table closest to bathroom won't smell. Overall nice people,juke box songs, and pool made it a good night. read more

Best bar experience. The server Ivonne, not only beautiful but extremely attentive and social. They have huge mugs capping at 13 bucks for ipa beer. Very local spot . They have a dj during the weekend ( not really people dancing but you can) and they play lots of throwbacks and love the music and good selection . Free billiards, local friendly people, spacious , not crowded, parking lot in the back or street parking , reasonable drink prices , they had beer and seltzers nothing else . My husband and I came here years ago, didn't like it much before..they only served beer and smoked inside. Very dark dimmed lights. Only good thing at that time was the karaoke KJ, Sammy. We searched on yelp for karaoke bars and curious, I read the reviews and was shocked....seeing that it had a new owner, we came by and let me tell you...I'm definitely impressed! They now have a variety of drinks and food!!! Loved the wings! The bartenders are very nice and friendly. The crowd is nice and welcoming. Not to mention we met the new owner, Georgia, and she was very sweet and had a full on conversation with us. And to my luck, the KJ Sammy is still hosting the karaoke and is still as funny and entertaining to listen too. Karaoke Fridays do get packed. Lots of talent here. Fun to come and watch and join as well. My husband and I also came here on a Tuesday, since we heard they have a live blues band. What talent!!! The cool part is that you can join the band and sing or play with the band. They have a sign up sheet and all sorts of mucians and singers play and sing. Its real neat. There is always good events with enough time notice. There's 2 pool tables, darts and other fun stuff to keep you entertained. Over all, I totally recommended this place for all ages. So I was looking for a place that had karaoke near my friend's home since she doesn't have a car. I had never been here before, but am always open to trying new places. At first I wasn't sure what to expect, as many dive bars have a "members only" feel, but I was so impressed by how lovely, friendly, and happy everyone was! I have never in my entire life been treated so warmly by both bartenders and patrons as I was at the Eagle's Nest last night. Not only that--I frequent karaoke bars often, and the host and singers here were so kind and encouraging! Many other places take the karaoke too seriously and don't clap much for other people. Not here, though! Everyone claps, dances, and sings along, and everyone treats each other so nicely! It's just such good vibes all around and the KJ, Sammy, is awesome, too! Really great and charismatic host. They have karaoke every Wed-Saturday. Oh, and they have White Claw, which is such a bonus for me! I have been an Eagle's Nest regular for about 4-5 years, since just prior to the current owner taking over. It used to be a smoky dive bar with soulless bartenders but great karaoke. Now, it is a smoke-FREE dive bar with friendly bartenders and the same great karaoke! They don't serve hard liquor but their selection of draft beer is decent, although their wine and sake selection is limited. Draft beers come in three sizes: small, medium and call Uber. You can also order cheaper by the pitcher. They have lots of bottled beer for those who like that sort of thing and four or five different flavors of soju for those that like shots or mocktails. I wish they served some local craft brews and nitro stouts or porters but they do have Guinness in a large nitro can, which works for me. Sammy, the KJ works every Friday and Saturday night, except when they are featuring live music. His sound system is tied for the best in the South Bay and, unlike some KJ's who couldn't give a cr@p about the singers, Sammy actually pays attention to each singer and adjusts sound levels so that you always sound your best! They also have karaoke on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday with other KJs, Tim or Pauline. Tuesday night features live blues music, with a sign-up sheet for those with the musical talent and inclination to perform. I don't know what happens on Mondays because I've never been there that night. Hmmm... Besides the karaoke and beer, the Eagle's Nest has two pool tables, two state-of-the-art dart machines and a jukebox. Their food is filling but unspectacular, except for the jumbo hot dogs and new Chicken Cordon Bleu (ooh, how French!), which are both surprisingly tasty. Spicy pork rinds, chicken wings, Philly cheese steak sandwiches and (I think) pizza and cheeseburgers complete the bar menu. Peanuts and chips are also for sale. The best thing is that they are totally cool if you want to bring in your own food, whether from a restaurant or snacks (not alcohol!) from the liquor store a couple doors down. While the crowd is mostly regulars, the Eagle's Nest is not one of those "locals only" kind of places; it's a friendly bar that welcomes all ages, races and sexual preferences. It's a great place for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, divorce parties or any celebratory occasion that calls for cold beer, good people and amazing karaoke. All that said, they do enforce a strict "no-a$$holes" policy so, if you're a d!ck#e@d looking to start trouble, please find somewhere else to drown your self-destructive rage and resentment that mommy and daddy didn't love you enough. I've passed by this bar several times over the last few months on my way home, never had occasion to check it out, but as I had a very rough day today, I needed a beer, so decided to drop in...8:30-ish or so. Most everyone there was engrossed in the Rams game as I walked in, which was fine, but I just wanted a cold beer, and stood at the end of the bar and waited to be served. And waited...and waited...and waited. The server did not scan the bar, as a good server should, never noticed me, she seemed to be more involved casually conversing with a girlfriend(?) several times and serving customers who came in AFTER me, as well as walking by me to get drinks for customers who were running low. I could have made a scene, I could have waved my arms, but I'm used to observant and proficient servers who welcome and serve new customers fairly quickly, rather than ignoring them to talk to friends and not acknowledging their presence at the bar. (I am fairly tall and was wearing a bright sweatshirt so I know I wasn't invisible, but the fact she didn't even look around or shoot me a glance made me feel like I was). I had made a phone call as I entered the bar so I know I was there 7-8 minutes without anyone paying attention to me. In frustration, I made a comment to the guy next to me that I had just come in for a beer or two but the service really sucked, which he more or less agreed with, so I left to find a bar with more attentive servers (and I did...and the server got a good tip...I am a good tipper). I liked the vibe of this bar, kinda divey, which I like, and as I pass it every day, I could have considered dropping in from time to time, but I won't wait this long to be served ever again, so I may come back in a couple of months in the hopes that the owner has improved the serving skills of his/her bartenders...or at least the one that ignored me tonight. read more

Took a bunch of friends out on a night of bar hopping in my neighborhood and this place was our first stop. As soon as we all get there, the lady bartender working that night seemed a little overwhelmed with the amount of people that just appeared. She was a little upset, like, she had to actually work that night. My group easily doubled the people that were already there. The beer selection was horrible but I shouldn't blame the bar for that. A lot of my friends are bar snobs. Oh and they only sold beer and wine. No liquor which made a few of my friends upset. Went for Karaoke on Thursday as I am a fan of the Thursday night KJs, Joseph and Pauline. I think they may have karaoke every night, but I am not sure. I Had a great time. Everyone was nice and the atmosphere is friendly. Parking was kind of scary on busy Prairie Avenue, but now I know there are lots of parking spaces in the back. I only wish karaoke started a little earlier that 9 PM! read more

The regulars have a very mellow vibe and the average age of crowd is 35 or so. The beers are decently priced and now there are craft beers and IPAs!!!!
