We live in a world that's increasingly dominated by giant corporations. They succeed because they are everywhere, they often make it easy to shop with them, and because they can often undercut the smaller local spots when it comes to prices. I made the mistake of ordering a gas range from one of these giant corporations, and it turned out to be a giant problem. They delivered but couldn't handle the installation, and then they couldn't take the stove with them, and then the guys who came to pick it up were rude and caused more issues, etc. So I did what I should've done, and I called Earl B. Feiden, and they helped me out, and solved my problem. I got to talk to an actual person (thanks Ken!), and I laid out what I needed (a gas range in a non-standard size), and where the potential problem might arise (it needed to be converted to propane), and they handled it like pros. Sometimes it may cost you a little more time and a tiny bit more hassle (if you consider talking to an actual person a hassle, not a pleasure like I do) to go with the smaller shop, but I highly recommend buying local. It worked out for me with Earl B. Feiden. And in the end, the range I got ended up being cheaper than the one from the big box store anyway. read more

Have previously purchased fridge/range from here, and Jesse and Nick did a wonderful job getting them down my driveway in the snow. I subsequently ordered Miele stackable washer dryer set and Jake and Don did another great job getting them in and installed. I would have given a 5 star review on both appliances and delivery but the stupidly expensive green european Miele washing machine arrived from the factory with an error code that required service under warranty. Took almost three weeks to get resolved with one diagnostic service call and one repair part service call. Having said all that, Alex the service guy was aces! I ordered what was supposed to be a brand‑new Bertazzoni "Pro" fridge, range, and dishwasher in 2021. What showed up was a battered floor‑model fridge that didn't even match the range and dishwasher: - Wrong model: the fridge wasn't the promised "Pro" series. - Visible damage: scuffs everywhere. - Incorrect handles: the delivery tech tried (and failed) to bolt on "Pro" handles, leaving a wobbling gap and more scratches. - Full retail price: they charged me as if it were new. After nine months of 50‑plus emails and phone calls--some staff literally shouting at me--I finally forced them to replace the fridge. Only then did I hold off on posting a negative review. Jump to July2025: the range breaks (fair wear and tear). I call for service, provide the invoice and serial number, and the rep immediately puts me on hold. Minutes later he returns: "My manager says we can't help you. Call Bertazzoni for another service provider." It's obvious my file is flagged because of the prior fiasco. Reading the flood of recent one‑star reviews, I'm convinced my experience wasn't an exception. If you value honest pricing and basic customer service, shop elsewhere. read more

Buyer beware! Run! Little did I know, in 7/2021, Michael Feiden took a kickback from the handyman working for me. The whirlpool refrigerator he sold me needed $950 in unsuccessful repairs to the ice-maker. The GE stove needed a $500 electrical board replacement last month and now the GE dishwasher with a prior $250 repair has stopped working and my repairmen said this model is bound to keep breaking so he's not coming. That would be a $1,000 cost for replacing another brand with delivery and installation. That's $3,700! In four years! Thanks mike. read more

We bought a new panel ready Kitchen Aid Refrigerator from Earl B Feiden this spring. When it came, one of the doors was warped and wouldn't hold the shelves. As soon as they were notified, the service team ordered a replacement door. It took about 6 weeks to get the door from Kitchen Aid; but, as soon as it came in, an appointment was scheduled to replace the door. Ben arrived today exactly as promised only to find that the door that was sent did not have the panel ready parts as required. Ben knew I was working on a deadline to get the kitchen done for a design photo shoot and he jumped into action. It took a trip to the hardware store to get some supplies, but when he left here, we have our new refrigerator door ready to accept our panels. I can't say enough great things about Ben. I had high hopes that a high-end, luxury appliance repair shop Would take care of my wolf/subzero appliances in my home. Those hopes have been dashed by terrible customer service, poor communication, and a lack of customer support. I would rather spend the money to refurnish my home with different appliances than trust my business to Earl B. Feiden. It took two service calls where they could not properly diagnose the issue before they took in their shop. The last five phone calls I have received since my repair was completed has jumped the price more than double what I was quoted after the repair was done. Great experience with Earl B Feiden. First let me say I ordered the same double wall oven from Lowes and install was scheduled with CRST. CRST no-showed twice and I canceled the order. Then I called Feiden who contacted me immediately. They sent a great team (Tobias and Jake) to measure and make sure everything would fit. Then Jimmy and Nick installed seamlessly. Do not use them!!! They charge a lot of money and barely fix anything. Because we have a Viking, we keep calling them because they work with them. Yesterday, Alex the tech tried to fix an issue with our ice mechanism and instead unplugged the fridge. We woke up to all our food defrosted and everything in our fridge was warm. When we called to have them either come or call us immediately to fix the issue we were told someone could only come again in 4 days. When I asked to have a manager call me I was told managers don't arrive until 1pm. When we got a call back we were told there was nothing anyone can do. There is no accountability for the fact that they screwed us over and made things worse, not to mention costing us in hundreds of dollars in ruined groceries. My husband called Viking himself and they told him what the tech's mistake was- he fixed the issue himself. Completely incompetent repair people and customer service. They took weeks to diagnose a problem with a Miele dishwasher. Charged for repair parts needed Took weeks and no show appts without calling to come repair When they finally came they said they needed an additional $75 part I agreed to order, they charged The canceled appts again to repair and finally came a week till Thanksgiving and say the $75 part is wrong and they need a $259 part that they won't warrant. I said I will just get a new machine and asked for money back on parts they ordered . They won't refund my money only give credit against a l other machine. This business proved to be unreliable, difficult to work with and at the end of the day absolutely insulting. We ordered a dryer from them rather than going through a big box store because we wanted to support local businesses. The first dryer was a lemon, and the salesman incorrectly told us to work directly with Whirlpool for the replacement. The company was not able to replace the dryer for a month. Come to find out this is not Feiden's policy but they were unable or unwilling to get us a new machine within the month. 5 weeks later the new dryer shows up but there is a problem with the delivery guys being unable to honor our request to take some caution with our brand new carpet. We worked our way up to Bradley Feiden who was annoyed with us for pulling him out of a meeting to help us. He was insulting and dismissive of our concerns, and told us he was ready to take the new one away and let us deal with the lemon still in our laundry room! This from one of the top guys! In the end we worked it out with the delivery guys who were very polite and respectful, but we will never deal with this local company again. Unless you're buying tens of thousands of dollars of goods from them, they don't care. Avoid them at all cost. If I could rate this a negative number I would. read more

I'm pretty disappointed with this company. First they Came and installed our washer and dryer incorrectly, we bought all of our appliances from them. Then we realized something was wrong with our dishwasher and we haven't been able to use it for over a month- someone was supposed to come in today after a very long wait and they called saying that person was sick and they don't have anyone else available for another 2 weeks. Considering all the appliances are brand new and this isn't the first issue it would be helpful to have someone come look at the brand new dishwasher as soon as possible rather than making us wait a month and a half. Bought a dishwasher from here in November. That went well, took about two weeks, and installation went fine. In April, it stopped cleaning the dishes. Called for repair, a nice guy came out, diagnosed it and ordered some parts. That was 6 weeks ago and I still don't have a working dishwasher. The parts came and another guy came out to install about 3 weeks ago. Turns out the first guy was totally wrong about what was happening with the machine, and a completely different part needed to be ordered. I've been calling twice a week for updates and they never have additional information for me. Twice I've been promised a call back and haven't received one. I know it's a supply issue, and there's a lot of that going around, but maybe if the first guy was competent, we'd have clean dishes by now. read more

After waiting an hour for help I got a half-assed attempt at help. Came up with a $32,000 estimate. Twice I followed up with email and voicemail and still no replies.
