They also have few options on their menu other than bbq. They have fried chicken,salmon,bbq tacos,burger,var. of soup, donuts, var. of milkshakes and var. of coffee drinks and espresso. We ordered the platter with brisket,chicken,rib tips and coleslaw n mac n cheese for the sides. Next time will try the fried chicken! Owner was friendly and taking his time talking to his customers which is nice. Downside, Not that much seating inside but thanks for the drive thru! I am a huge fan of Earls BBQ. I have tried the entire menu and have found it all delicious. Service is great. Always greeted with a friendly acknowledgment. You can always take advantage of their special that are posted on their outdoor sign. Sometimes you can get a pulled pork sandwich and side for 7.99. If I had to pick the Salmon would be my go to. Their salmon is smoky, juicy and you get a huge portion. Treat yourself to a donut for dessert! read more

I've enjoyed Earl's for months. Their food is very good. Unfortunately today I placed an order online. About 15 minutes after I received my confirmation someone from Earl's called. Due to it being Easter they closed early and they were cancelling my order. When I asked about them cancelling my credit card charge he told me not to worry about it. I would get my money in a couple days. It was over $50 and I said he needed to cancel the charge immediately. Now quite rudely he said it would take a few days and hung up on me. Very rude and very poor customer service. I can no longer recommend a business that treats me like that. read more

The pulled chicken had a number of little bones in it that made eating the sandwich without worrying about choking a little tricky. The mac and cheese was bland and lame. Wouldn't recommend that particular side...not worth the calories. Overall, a pleasant enough experience for local takeout. Food was only so-so. Just got dinner tonight at Earl's for the first time, and all I can say is WOW! I ordered the 1/2 lb BBQ Brisket sandwich with corn bread & mac and cheese for my sides ($9.25 price + tax). The BBQ Brisket sandwich is simply amazing! The meat is really nice and smokey, and just melts in your mouth on contact. This is real brisket done fantastically-well, and it does not even need any sauce on it - it is literally that good. The bun given with the sandwich is nice and soft and has a buttery flavor to it, so it goes super well with the smoked Brisket. If you stop by Earl's make sure to get this sandwich, your taste buds will thank you after each and every bite. Alongside the brisket, the sides I got were also great. The mac and cheese is super cheesy, and has a nice bread crumb on top - tastes great overall. Also, the corn bread was nice and moist, and had a great flavor to it. Furthermore, Earl's gives you a nice amount of sauces (they have 4 in total) that you can put on your meat, if you like BBQ sauce with your food. Overall, 5/5 stars - I will definitely be back to Earl's in the near future. read more

This place is amazing. I was there last night with my friend and Erika and her staff were absolutely perfect. She talked about different types of food with some people at the table next to us and gravitated her conversation with me. I felt extremely welcomed and appreciated here. I ordered through Door dash and was disappointed. They always give coleslaw with the sandwiches but failed me this time. The picture on the Door dash site shows coleslaw and one side. When i called to ask about it i was told they never gave coleslaw. Thats a lie because as long as I've been patronizing this place coleslaw always came with the sandwich with 1 side. I had to update my review. They were still new when I went there the first time but I got to say it has improved 100%. The beef brisket was excellent not to fatty good bark nice and tender. The pulled pork was very good, and the salmon was excellent. I'm glad I gave Earls another chance they have really turned it around. Even their slaw is good creamier and more flavorful ! I went to smoque not too long ago and there's was very bitter tasting and someone said there's a new owner there I could almost believe it because it didn't taste the same I would go to Earls over smoke anytime. I'm going to give them another try again this week but I got to say I think earls ls going to be there to stay congratulations. read more

The menu has a huge variety of BBQ themed foods. I went with a couple of friends for a quick snack and the food was amazing. Their milkshakes are great for a hot summer afternoon and their fries are unlike any other place I know. The different BBQ sauces are set out on the table to give you the option of what type you like and the place makes you feel comfortable to stay and talk with friends. Delicious! Really, really good BBQ. We went for lunch on Friday and were able to grab a table and sample everything we wanted. We really enjoyed the brisket and ribs and our favorite sauce was the honey. Kids liked the burgers, hot dogs, fries, and milkshakes. The donut at the end was the topper! This is my second time here.... after the first time I thought it was the best bbq place in chicago ....thus a second time.....i ordered the salmon and rib platter.... after the wait the tray came out and the salmon looked like left over pieces so i sent it back and out came my platter and I was disappointed... the rib's were so dry and tasteless I ate the salmon and threw the rib's out....moral. to get 3 stars average, 4 is good and consistent and 5 is outstanding 1 is horrible and the 2 I have them at means they're hit or miss, not consistent-- and any money you spend here is a gamble Maybe take a hint from gale street, smokee, etc....be consistent, tasty and good over the years read more

So good!!!! We had the chicken pastor sandwich, brisket burrito, rib tips & bbq chicken with OG sauce. Everything was delicious! Charred corn & the Mac n'cheese were good too. I came in yesterday on one of the coldest days in Chicago because I was dying for some great BBQ. So I decided to go to earls praying they would be open since we weren't able to get delivery through our usual Grubhub. Thank god they were! The young lady there named Clarissa was extremely friendly and energetic considering it was 7pm and extremely cold out. Food was outstanding as always and service was quick and accurate. I really want to love this place because it's less than 5 minutes away and we love supporting local businesses (and BBQ!). We've actually gotten food from here twice already since it's opened and unfortunately I can't say we love it. In our two experiences there, the brisket and pulled pork were both very fatty. I ended up picking apart half my meat. My husband, who will eat anything, even admitted it was pretty fatty. The pulled pork wasn't entirely pulled (there were a lot of large chunks that weren't pulled at all). My husband found a 1/2 inch bone in his salmon. The sauces are not very good in my opinion. I liked the Georgia one (it has a bit of a spicy kick to it), but the other ones my husband and I both tried once and not again. The mac 'n cheese and fries were both very good, so no complaints there. Just so others are aware, they don't take phone orders ahead of time because they "aren't set up to do so" and also their drive-thru is not open yet. The most recent time we went to pick up food (2 platters straight off the menu; no special instructions) we waited over 20 minutes for the food. I would be more understanding if it was an obscure or large order, but it wasn't at all. I honestly couldn't believe we waited that long after ordering. We might as well have just dined in. All in all, we will probably go back because of proximity and because some of the food was good. But my overall stance is, "It was ok," and that's what we'll be telling our friends in the area who ask. read more
