Every city I travel to for work if they have a Hawaiian BbQ spot I'm trying it, and let me tell you Aloha Hawaiian BBQ is legit one of my favorites. I've never heard of Pork Katsu, but it's now one of my favorite things to eat, it was amazing. Their gyoza was really good as well. The Teri- chicken was so flavorful and cooked just right. The star of the show to me was the Crab Rangoon. They were the size of my phone and they were filled with actual crab meat and cream cheese. The only reason this is a 4 and not a five was the Mac salad. It was sweet and in all my years of having Mac salad (even in Hawaii) it's never been sweet. This food was so good that I ordered it twice while I was here. Thank you Aloha Hawaiian BBQ!

Friend and I ordered: Loco Moco - two beef patties, brown gravy, two eggs, scallions Pork Katsu Spam Egg Musubi Very happy with our food overall. Loco Moco patties are made fresh. Eggs fried perfectly. Rice and macaroni were properly cooked. Not too much mayo used in Mac salad which we like. Fried pork katsu was tender, not dry. The egg in spam Musubi was Japanese tamago. No issues with service. Decent amount of seating inside. Reasonably priced! Probably because of the neighborhood.

Aloha Hawaiian BBQ had us saying "ALO-HA" for how insanely good it was. We made the trek from Uptown, and it was absolutely worth it--left full, happy, and already planning a return trip. The spam musubi hit the perfect balance of rice, spam, and sauce--simple but wildly satisfying. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, and the chicken katsu nailed that golden, crispy bite. The mac salad was sweet and creamy, though I found myself wishing for a little ham or pineapple twist to round it out--and it could've been a bit colder, since I love a chilled mac salad. The portions? Massive. We rolled out with leftovers and full bellies. My one suggestion: layer that fluffy rice under the meat so it soaks up all those juicy drippings--it'd take the plate from great to next-level. The drinks were a playful nod to Hawaii--tropical, refreshing, and just fun. We even scored a fruit tea on the house thanks to our order total, which was delicious (though the popping boba didn't quite make it through the straw). From the friendly staff to the spotless space, everything about this spot made it worth the drive. I'd absolutely cross town again for another plate of those ribs.

I absolutely love the food here but I deducted one point because they failed to remind us that if we spend over, 30, 40 or 50 we get a free drink or appetizer of spam musubi or crab Rangoon. I spent over 60 and didn't read till later about the free stuff we get after spending a certain amount. I also thought they could have been more honest and reminded customers about this. That's a fail on their part. The food is still really delicious.

I don't think I've ever seen a cleaner restaurant anywhere. Add to that the polite staff and the fabulous food. This place is a win! Love the macaroni salad. The servings were quite substantial. It does take just a little bit for everything to come out, but that is because it is all really cooked when you order it. I'm not particularly fond of the service robots so that one's not a real plus for me.

Really good food and a great option for takeout! The katsu is a good portion, the hurricane fries were amazing, and I'm happy that they offer a tamago musubi as a vegetarian option! Only got takeout for now, but everything was taken care of well. Will have to go back for an in person visit for their ambiance.

All of this! Legit so good! The Lemon sauce took the shrimp to another level. Both Chicken was great! The Furikake Chicken was unique and cooked perfectly. The Huli Huli was a nice sweet and saucy grilled chicken. Recommend both!! Can't wait to try more! Delivery on their website was slightly cheaper!! And very quick!

We got a few different plates and they were all really good! A bit in the pricey side but if you dine in they have a different specials/coupons that make it worth it. Food really scratched the Hawaiian itch! I prefer the mac salad at aloha eats but this place was nice in the variety of dishes and it was all yummy.

Awesome food. I had the combo plate, shrimp and beef. My buddy had chicken kansu. The only negative was how the food was served when we ate in. They served us in 'to go plastic trays' which is bad for the environment. Food was outrageously delicious

I've ordered takeout a few more times recently and this place has become my husbands favorite. The food is hot and fresh and everything is packaged really neatly with no spills. Good size portions as well.

First off, the price totally caught me off guard (in a good way). I got a full dinner for about $12 after tip, which feels almost impossible in the city right now. I ordered the classic plate with half Honolulu chicken and half Huli Huli chicken, plus rice and mac salad. Loved that you can mix the meats without paying extra it's super convenient and a nice way to try more. The portion was legit too, definitely enough food, even for the regular size. Flavor-wise, it totally exceeded my expectations. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the rice was solid, and the mac salad was surprisingly tasty. For a fast-casual chain, it honestly tasted more like a local one-off spot. Will 100% be ordering again. Great value, generous portions, and super satisfying. No complaints 5 stars all the way for what it is.

This was my first time having Hawaiian food, and let me tell you, the island-inspired flavors of the chicken were amazing! Everything was delicious, and I can't wait to order again!

This was a spur-of-the-moment choice but ended up being very fun for drinks and dinner!…read more I LOVE tiki bars and my husband noticed this one in the area near where we happened to be on Google maps, so off we went! We had about a 15 minute wait for a table but it gave us time to peruse the menu in the car. They offer many classic tiki cocktails, a page full of seasonal drinks, a page of "Designated Driver" mocktails (nice to have an option for something other than just a Shirley Temple!), Polynesian appetizers and entrees, and then Lola's Pizza. For drinks, I got the seasonal Gingerbread Painkiller and my husband got a Green Flash mocktail. (Pro tip on the seasonal drinks: check the regular cocktail menu to see how many skull and crossbones are listed under the regular version of your drink, if applicable, to see if it's a super strong one!) Mine was creamy and spicy but quite powerful. Props to our waitress, Makayla, who checked if anyone at the table was epileptic, because normally the "flash" part of my husband's drink is a strobing LED ice cube; I actually am photosensitive, so it came in the drink in non-strobe mode and just glowed an alien green. She said this was the first time it had actually paid off to ask, but I'm glad she did! The food was tasty: I ordered rumaki, an old-school appetizer of bacon-wrapped water chestnuts that you don't see very often these days, and he got loaded fries. We also got a small Lola's Pizza, which was very good, with a crisp but also chewy crust. The atmosphere here is pure tiki, with a fountain, swag lamps, bamboo, and Hawaiian-influenced Christmas music playing for the season. Lots of big groups here; everyone seemed to be having as good a time as we were! What a laid-back gem in Arlington Heights! We'll be back. Mahalo!
