    My meal, two meat combo
    Sacha B.

Came here with my boy for lunch. We wanted BBQ and Big Os was closed for some reason so this was the next pick for us. The ribs came off the bones like it should but the brisket was mid is tenderness and flavor. Over all the food was pretty good along with the serving size. I will be back if I'm in the area for BBQ. Earls has been around for some time now and is consistence over the last 30 years or so.

Ordered ribs with a side of okra and baked beans. The ribs and Texas toast were old. The best thing on the plate was the okra because it was hot and fresh but over salted. I would not order from here again.

Rib from two meet combo. We tried them all, they were old and tough.

We love our BBQ! We seek out the best BBQ places in the country when we travel and have had BBQ in Austin, KC, Memphis and North Carolina. Oklahoma is our home and for years Earls has been our go to for BBQ mainly for convenience but it had been consistently good. But the last 3-4 times we have picked up take out, it has not been good. This last time will be the last time. My husband got the two meat combo with sliced brisket and ribs. The brisket was dry. The ribs tasted old and reheated and were very tough. The toast was old, cold and hard. The only positive about our meal was the okra! Overall very disappointing!

Lovely southern hospitality! Interesting wall decorations with license plates from different states plastered all over the walls (with the one from Texas being upside-down). Awesome quality cups including watercups and folded silverware in napkins stacked neatly at the cashier's counter. Salad was great! Chicken was a bit dry but I'd definitely revisit and try some of their BBQ!

Was in the area for work and mentioned I wanted some BBQ. After colleagues discussed, Earl's was determined to be the best. Deviled eggs were good but not my grandmothers. Mac and cheese was good but left me wanting more from the cheese sauce. The sandwich however was the most amazing BBQ sandwich I've had in recent times. The Smokestack was delicious. Everyone else's food look delicious as well and it definitely got quieter for a while. When I return I'll try different sides but get the smokestack again.

This is one of our favorite BBQ places in the area. We love the ribs and the spicy sausage links especially. The links are my husband's favorite. Their curly fries are also delicious. However, they were not as tasty and fresh tonight as they usually are. Service is not the best. I dont think the girl serving us tonight knew whe was at work instead of hanging out lol. She sat down at our table while taking our order (doesnt bother me too much but funny, others might be a lot more put off by that). We ordered one of the big platters and split it and we always have it divided on separate plates. She came out with it on one plate and apologized (did not offer to have it split up) and told us it was because of how busy she was. She also forgot the ranch we ordered with it (no biggie on that though because she went and got it right away when we asked for it again). The most awkward thing was that she brought our check out with our food and told us how she needed to leave soon to hang out with her friend since it is Friday the 13th. It's like 7pm and she's wanting to leave already? That's prime time for a server. We started eating and in 5 minutes she printed out our check again and brought it back. Haha she was really ready for us to leave or super forgetful lol. Honestly, the whole experience was super weird and horrible service but the girl looked like a teenager and she was cute about everything so it smoothed over okay. If it had been someone that was less cute and friendly it wouldn't have gone over so well. I would recommend a little coaching on service. I think we will order to-go next time.

Good BBQ and a good burger as well. Can get a little crowded, but just goes to show that people like the food!

Great ribs and brisket! Fried okra pretty good too. Very friendly staff. Will come again when I'm back in town.

Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef - Edmond, OK…read more In my ongoing hunt for solid comfort food around Edmond, I decided to give Patties Hamburgers & Roast Beef a try--and this one is definitely worth a visit. It's a relatively small spot on 2nd Street, but don't let the size fool you. This place delivers big where it matters: hot, made-to-order food and friendly service that makes you feel welcome right away. I walked in fully intending to go with a classic burger... but sometimes you've got to listen to the people. On their way out, a couple told us it was their first visit too and highly recommended the French Dip and the daily special. That was all I needed--I made the audible. What We Ordered: * French Dip with au jus and fries * Chili Cheeseburger with fries The Food: The French Dip was the star for me--tender beef, plenty of melted cheese, and that au jus brought it all together. Solid, no-frills comfort food done right. The chili cheeseburger was messy (in a good way) and packed with flavor. Fries were crispy and did their job. Everything came out hot, fresh, and exactly how you want it. The Vibe: Casual, laid-back, and exactly what you'd expect from a local comfort food joint. Nothing fancy--but that's not why you're here. Service: Very friendly across the board. You can tell they care about the experience, and that goes a long way. Final Thoughts: This is one of those places where you already know you'll be back before you leave. Next visit, I'm going all-in on the burger lineup--and after seeing that dessert case, I may need to save room. If you're in Edmond and craving comfort food, put this one on your list.

Chef Kevin Lee took his original Korean fried chicken concept and evolved it into this upscale Korean steakhouse that somehow feels trendy, comforting, and wildly creative all at once. We ate our way through dishes like: Tteokbokki with wagyu ragu Sweet potato burrata Incredible cocktails Korean-inspired steaks cooked perfectly Every single plate had intention behind it. Nothing felt thrown together for social media hype. This was flavor first. And somehow after all of that...that banana pudding still stole the finale. Nearly impossible to finish, but absolutely impossible to stop eating. Also, Tony gave some of the best service I've had in a long time. Knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire dinner feel like an experience instead of just another table turn. A lot of people forgot about Birdie's after the buzz around Maht exploded, but trust me...this spot deserves your attention. If you can't land a Maht reservation for the next century, Birdie's needs to be your next dinner reservation

The entrance has had a light refresh as well. Gone is the big glass dessert display case but the additional walking space is nice. Sadly we learned that the cakes are being discontinued, RIP the wonderful carrot cake. Fortunately we snagged one of the last pieces. It's my understanding that cookies and other sweet treats will still be available. The menu is loaded with new and exciting choices. Deciding what to choose was a great problem to have. We started with the Trio Dipper with house made chips and balloon bread, which is like pita bread on steroids and just as delicious. The dip selections were terrific and we were brought more chips when ours ran low. Two of us ordered the Tuscan Chicken. They were exceptional bites. They were parmesan breaded chicken fritters stuffed with the tomatoes and cheese. It's an inventive take on a traditional recipe and a tasty home run! My husband ordered the Chicken Piccata, looking for a lower calorie option. The lemon butter wine sauce was delicious and it's a terrific option. The last guest chose the fried chicken which is an old and familiar favorite. You absolutely cannot go wrong. We ended the night sharing a piece of carrot cake and a salted caramel cookie.

We obviously enjoy the food, quality service and ambiance. It is owned by the same family that owns Boulevard Steak House and Sparrow Italian in the same building (those are also top notch, but pricey). 501 has some killer quiche, very good huevos rancheros and a good Cuban. But we both opted for the steak and eggs this time. The eggs were cooked a perfect over medium as requested and the medallions were also a medium and reminiscent of what we have had next door (coincidence?). We had another solid dining experience and will (and have) bring friends here without hesitation.
