I genuinely wanted to give this place another chance, but the second visit was even more disappointing than the first. The prices have climbed while the portions have shrunk, leaving me feeling more frustrated than full. The service was apathetic at best as the staff barely spoke or engaged, giving the impression they'd rather be anywhere else. They seemed more like the teenage sons of the owners who hated they had to work for mom and pop. It's a shame because the restaurant once showed promise, but the quality, atmosphere, and overall value have clearly declined. At these prices, guests deserve attentive service, generous portions, and a welcoming experience -- not silence and sticker shock. I truly hope the owners take constructive reviews seriously and make changes before it's too late. Businesses don't fail overnight; they fade when feedback is ignored. Sadly, that's exactly what seems to be happening here. I will not personally be returning but I hope they made choices that benefit the customer more than their wallets so they can flourish.

Omg this place definitely blew my expectations. The spicy broth had actual spice with a nice burn. The tomato broth could have been a little bit more flavored. It was a bit bland. The skewers were good and what you expected with the hint of cumin. The selections of stuff for the hotpot was good. It's not AYCE. They have a sauce bar but it's 2.99. Not worth getting. The service was a little slow. You have to stare down the servers for attention. You will smell like hot pot when you leave so just be careful of what you wear!

First time at 99 Flavor BBQ and Hotpot. I was impressed by the service, ambiance and the food. Our server, Lisa, was super friendly and helpful. They are open til 3am on the weekends. Great for big parties, girls night, and is for sure family friendly. We had the spicy butter broth and we ordered the coconut broth for the kids. We love the skewers. They were very flavorful. Had the lamb, beef and chicken gizzards skewers. They were not serving the rock lobster yet, but we had the honor of trying it while we were there and it was yummmmm. -- at 99 Flavor BBQ & Hotpot.

Nice Chinese BBQ and skewer selections - however when I went no grilling tables were available and I ordered dishes from the kitchen which took a long time to grill. The owner gave me a discount and some dishes for free so that was very generous. I look forward to being able to experience their BBQ next time! The ambiance or interior decor is pretty cool and stylish as well.

We really enjoyed our visit on Monday! My family got the two soup special with super spicy lamb broth on one side and tomato soup base. I really liked the beef tongue meat for the hotpot and the vegetables set. My son's favorite skewers was the sheep stones. I can't remember what else we got, but it was all delicious! I'm not as brave as my husband and son eating the organ meats, but they were very happy so I will take their word for it that it was tasty! It was very expensive, but I realized that before we went so it wasn't a surprise or anything. I think it was worth the money.

I declare that this is the barbecue restaurant I am willing to go to every week #今日晚长这样 [Bar R] I often come to 99 BBQ restaurant, the decoration is very unique and has its own style and characteristics. [To the right R] I like to eat their beef and chicken gristle the most. The meat is very tender and roasted to a crispy and fragrant aroma. When you take a bite, the internal fat bursts out under the crispy skin, leaving a lingering fragrance in your mouth! [Like R] The chicken feet and chicken gristle are also absolutely delicious, very chewy and chewy. For vegetarian dishes, I love potatoes and eggplant the most, I really never get tired of eating them. [Beer R] In summer, with a glass of freshly squeezed beer, the feeling of being slightly drunk is invincible! It really is very romantic and atmospheric to eat barbecue. It is a barbecue restaurant that is very suitable for sister gatherings or young couples to date

Found a new spot for Chinese BBQ and Hot Pot in Edmond. Food is excellent very authentic like eating in NYC. We tried the BBQ this time. My wife enjoys hot pot so next time. There is an English menu as well as Chinese. The staff is very helpful.

    Quite pricey

Excited to try this out but my whole family was disappointed. The boys had to stop by another eatery to get more filling food to fill their dinner appetite. Service and ambience were good tho.

Although chaotic on first day, service has improved greatly! Fantastic food by the way, most authentic hotpot I've eaten in Okc!

Gage, our waiter was very professional and helpful. He guided us through the menu and helped us make good choices. We started with three mule cocktails. We had the Oaxacan, the Moscow and Kentucky Mules. Everyone enjoyed the cocktails. One thing that stood out to me for my Oaxacan Mule is that the Mezcal's smoky flavor really shown through and it was not overly sweet. A very clean cocktail, which I highly appreciate! We ordered the Chef's Salad Wrap with Onion Rings, French Dip with the tomato soup, and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with seasonal side of grits. I enjoyed the Chef's Salad Wrap but I would probably be a little more bold next time and get the Cortez or the Reuben. I craved a lighter choice and was more sinful with the over the top delicious onion rings! Wowowow! Hubby enjoyed his soup and French dip and son enjoy his Philly cheesesteak and grits. I would definitely love to revisit and try more of their items.

Why? The burgers. Unfortunately they did not seem to be fresh, seasoned well or made in house and…read morewere undersized for the buns. The bacon and cheeses seem to do the heavy flavor lifting but wasn't quite enough. The rest of the entrees were fine (cheesesteak & caprese sandwiches, the spinach salad). It is a great location, the service and drinks from the bar were good.

We watched people sing happy birthday w a giant slice of strawberry shortcake. Great portions! We ordered the judges plate and added the burnt ends along w a small side of sweet cream corn. The food! Cornbread was on point! Not grainy, overly sweet, or dry! Soft, not bitter. Champion beans are delicious, smoky, seasoned just right. Mac & cheese!!! OMG! It's just right!! Creamy, full flavor, and not bitter. Sweet cream corn, I mean, you should try it, ask for a small sample so you can decide! Burnt ends!!!! You cannot leave this place w/o trying them. We added it for an additional $4 and it was worth it! The brisket had a nice smoke ring, full of flavor. Soft and not dry at all! Juicy. The chicken fell off the bone. Tender. Well seasoned. The pull pork was perhaps my favorite. On its own it was delicious but adding some of the world champion sauce and the spicy sauce together just took it there!! Hands down, glad we made that turn and drove the extra 10m to this place on our way to California.

Honestly the sliced brisket left a lot to be desired and I do not think that it is the same product as the burnt ends. I am wondering if the burnt ends were from prime brisket and maybe the sliced brisket is from a lesser quality beef. That would make sense because the brisket burnt ends were absolutely divine and had lots of crispy bark that I just love. I was not really impressed by the bologna burnt ends and the mustard sauce. The bologna burnt ends lacked smokiness for me and I just did not enjoy the taste of the mustard (I normally love all mustards). So, let me tell you about the fried okra. I could eat a whole pound of that.....with ranch dressing of course. The finest fried okra!!!!!! We also loved the homemade pickles. I will always order homemade pickles if the option is available. These were great and we sure enjoyed the leftover bites! I would like to leave a little review that I think my little grandson would have left if he could type, use a computer and know all of his words. "I was really fond of the bbq beef but the standouts to me would have to be the mac n cheese and the championship bbq beans. In fact, I loved the bbq beans so much and got so excited that I put my forehead in the beans that my mommy put on my little child's placemat. After that all of the exursions of eating my food, playing with my food, flirting with our waitress and showing off my baby blues; I started yawning. I am not sure if it was the meat fatigue or the carb coma. Mommy and Daddy thought it was time to leave at that point and I agreed to cooperate as my bbq bean juice dyed hair was getting pretty sticky." I would definitely come in again and maybe try some other items. I would definitely get the prime brisket burnt ends again. Oh yes, AND THE OKRA and whatever my grandson wants, of course!
