I've now had the Lomo Saltado, the Arroz Con Marisco and the Chaufa de Pollo. Best Lomo Saltado I've ever had, and I've had a really expensive one at a famous CT spot. It's basically a beef and veggie stir fry. You can see the chef making it with fire in the pan if you have the right seat. The soy and oyster sauce based glaze is good salty. So flavorful and everything is perfectly cooked. Best Arroz Con Marisco I've ever had. It's a saucy Peruvian paella. The sauce (Aji Amarillo) has a well rounded creamy pepper flavor. The seafood, like crab, mussels and shrimp really stand out. I suspect the seafood varies depending on what's available. The Chaufa de Pollo, a Chinese fried rice style dish, was very good too. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The al pastor with pineapple was especially good; the perfect balance of savory and sweet. The restaurant had a nice vibe when I went. It was around noon and there were people enjoying food and drinks at the bar while others were dining. The place was busy but still calm, with light music playing in the background. Another thing I always notice when I visit restaurants is cleanliness, especially the bathrooms. The restroom here was very clean and smelled fresh. You can also see into the kitchen area from the dining space, which I love because you can watch them cooking and preparing everything. Friendly staff, great service, and consistently good food. I've been coming here for years and it's still one of my favorite spots for authentic tacos.
