They are always so kind, efficient, and quick to assist with any questions or requests I have, all while maintaining a positive, genuine attitude. I also witnessed a difficult situation with an upset and completely out of control parent recently (cussing and yelling at them! In front of kids) , and the way they handled it was truly impressive--they stayed calm and professional, which is something I know I could not have done. We have had a few minor needs and once addressed with the staff they team up with you as the parent to accommodate and come up with a solution to the situation at hand. I have scoured all over Flower Mound/Lewisville (where I live) and all of Grapevine (where I work) including surrounding cities, and no other facility meets my standard to take my most prized possessions. My first job out of high school was in childcare for 7 years and I know exactly what to look for. I understand there are some negative reviews for Childrens Lighthouse and that as humans not everyone will be happy but please know that there are situations that this business faces. For example: There was another child harming my child and other children on a daily basis and eventually the child was unenrolled, and the parent went on google and left a horrible review. I know first-hand that some of the information in the review was incorrect. Unfortunately, on these platforms there is a major struggle. The customer can tell a story but because of privacy the owners and staff of Childrens Lighthouse are unable to defend themselves. So, it just appears the customers story is accurate, but the business is unable to speak on the topic. After quickly adjusting to his new routine, my son has since remained enthusiastic to go to school. Ms Puja, the experienced director, and Ms Erica were so patient and understanding with my multiple calls, emails and texts checking in on my son in his first couple of weeks. We knew our son was in great hands from the start. My son enjoys all of the engaging activities his teachers provide each day. His language has expanded in just weeks and he's singing songs at home. I have experience as an early childhood educator and I am in awe of all of the experiences and opportunities to learn that they are providing to my 1.5 year old each day. I know that he will continue to grow and learn here for years to come and he will, most definitely, benefit from his time here at HMA. When I pick my son up each day you can see the love he has for all of his amazing teachers and the staff at HMA and I can see that they know and care for my child and all of the children in their care. He blows kisses and grins to each teacher when we leave and it melts my heart. Absolute worst experience--Zero safety and zero accountability!…read more I am writing this to warn everyone about the complete lack of professionalism and safety at this facility. Management is claiming I was a "no call, no show," which is a blatant lie. I was physically present at the facility. I explicitly requested the security camera footage to prove that a teacher hit a child and tried to grab me but they have repeatedly refused to provide it to me. I finally told the staff member to call me only when they actually have the footage ready. Worse than the administrative dishonesty is how they handle safety. I brought up a severe incident where I was almost assaulted inside the classroom. Instead of taking this safety breach seriously, the staff member in management literally smirked in my face and acted like it never happened. This place allows teachers to hit and roughen up students without any consequences. Do not trust them with your safety or your children. They do not care about security, they hide evidence, and they laugh at violence. Avoid this place at all costs!
