Yancy assured me the truck was in excellent mechanical condition and would make the trip back to Washington OK. He also said that he didn't need earnest money... he would hold the truck and complete the transaction with me on Friday. So, I bought a plane ticket and flew down. When I arrived the truck was in the process of being sold to another Buyer... and for 2,000 more then he advertised to me. Yancy told me that we never talked and he didn't know who I was. I produced all of our communication (email, text, FB messenger and 2 phone calls) that's when he started to tell me that I needed to leave and there was nothing I could do. Yancy claims to be an Air Force Veteran... so am I. I questioned his Core Values (Service before self, Excellence in all we do and Integrity) at this point he went into his office and called the police. I left rented a car and drove back to Washington... I would never trust this establishment or recommend it to anyone. In a phone call from Yancy to me, he stated "he didn't do business this way" ans wanted to "make it right" by paying for my plane ticket and rental car. I gave him my information and have received no compensation.

This is a serious safety issue--not a minor repair that should have been overlooked. The truck is essentially worthless in its current condition, and now I have to spend even more money just to make it safe and functional. Fortunately the nearby dealer in Klamath Falls is professional, well stocked, priced reasonable, and staffed by trained sales staff so we purchased our vehicle from them.
