In June of 2024 I purchased a home in Campo, CA. As part of my mortgage agreement, the house needed to be outfitted with a designated heating and cooling system as the previous owners were utilizing a wood stove and a window A/C unit. The previous owners selected Earth Air Systems to install mini split heat pumps. Upon completing some work on the interior of my home, I noticed the splits were not functioning correctly. I contacted my realtor, who contacted Remington of Earth Air Systems, and he made the time to personally come out and inspect the units. In the following months, we realized that the company utilized to purchase these mini splits, Gree, did not provide enough information to the technician or myself regarding their products. While mini splits typically have an interior filter, Grees do not, and we were both very confused to say the least until independently discovering this about these units. Gree was absolutely no help at all and did not communicate with Remington, Earth Air Systems, or myself, but the entire time Remington went out of his way to help me. After coming out independently to inspect the units, Remington quickly scheduled that one of my units be replaced, and the other serviced within a week of me contacting him during the hottest part of the summer. As issues persisted, Remington went so far as to pay to replace the filters and send another technician out to service the units again, explain proper maintenance to me, and reassure me that the units were running efficiently and effectively. I called Earth Air Heating & Cooling for a second opinion after One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning basically told me I needed a whole new AC system. Ritchie and Santiago were at my house within a couple hours. They made me feel like my call was a priority, not a hassle. Same day service actually means something with Earth Air. They were friendly, professional, and took the time to explain what they were checking as they went. I know a fair amount about HVAC and asked plenty of questions. They answered everything straight without talking down to me or acting like I was in the way. If you are a savvy homeowner, these are the guys you want at your house. In the end, the issue was just low refrigerant, not a whole new system. They got me cooling again right away and never once tried to upsell me on anything I did not need. Compared to the inflated quote from One Hour, the difference was night and day. Excellent service! Remington (Owner) came out the next day to diagnose my 35+ year old HVAC system for AC not cooling the air sufficiently, and he was able to do so quickly. He provided me with a honest opinion and options. He offered to repair the air conditioner (THE LOWEST quote) or replace the entire HVAC system (THE LOWEST quote)! I chose to replace the entire HVAC system because I didn't want to take any chances, but! After more than a month, I can say that it was the best decision I  made because my energy bills reduced! Which Remington did mention it would do just because the other usit was too old to be efficient! The best part is that Remington will install any brand of HVAC system, unlike others who will only install a specific system! There is so much more I could say, but in summary, I'm so glad I found the best and most dependable HVAC company. We're super happy with this company. We had to move all registers in the house because the rooms were changed. They gave us a price that we thought was more than fair and way less than we were quoted before. While it's probably not advisable to always go with the lowest price we realized that Earth Air just doesn't up-charge for unnecessary add ons. A guy named Remington came by, crawled under the house to asses the cost and quoted us. Very happy with how everything turned out and how fast he worked. We definitely recommend working with this HVAC company and will only hire them in the future. Not much of a reviewer, but this one deserves its stars. Super impressed and highly recommend Earth Air Systems. Remington was able to come up with a solution which resulted in better energy-efficiency and higher air quality in my early 70s condo. The previous gas system was Frankensteined in an outdoor closet to accommodate a washer/dryer. It was a less than ideal set-up which produced poor air quality and efficiency. The new heat pump with added HEPA filter was relocated to the attic for a self-contained, clean system. Remington and his crew were able to complete the project in one day. He explained all options in a way that a non-expert could understand and was straightforward, dependable and provided a competitive quote. Thank you! Our heater wasn't coming on, so Earth Air Systems came out the very next day after I called them for an appointment. Remington arrived just when he said he would, and promptly diagnosed the problem. Our issue was the thermostat, as it needed to be replaced. He recommended a replacement, and did some rewiring for me to make it easier when it came time for me to replace the thermostat. On top of all this he charged me NOTHING for his services. He also noted I could call him anytime if I needed any assistance installing the thermostat. I would recommend this company!! Remington, was our service guy who quickly responded to our call and squeezed us in to a busy holiday weekend schedule. I explained we had no cold air coming in from our vents on an extremely hot day. I really felt like he understood our frustration being inland and in a second story condo. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything that was going on with our air conditioner system.
