We read some reviews and were happy to know there's a dance floor in the back that's separate from the bar area - gives some variety. They were playing house music in the back with a fog machine. The dance floor would sometimes fill up and then empty out. Overall the vibes were just not it for me. After we entered and walked to the back, a friend said, "It feels like we just walked into a frat party, right?" It was just not the crowd I would expect for Bushwick. But I'm usually in queer spaces so maybe this is normal and I didn't realize. People weren't unkind or anything but it wasn't a space I'd wanna go back to. The wings here are great, as is the atmosphere and people. Good people working here provide great service and good patrons who will not be strangers if you come alone. This is a place where you don't have to know anyone to have a good time. I arrived around 9 or later on a Saturday night, walking from Lucky Charlie. It's close to the Jefferson stop on the L line. Echo Bravo sits on property that has a triangular front with the entrance on the left. There is a covered area of permanent outdoor seating in front and this would be a prime place to enjoy beer and wings and these wings are good, very good. I believe I have found my place when I have a craving for wings and beer. Wings in NYC are difficult to find when looking for quality wings at a fair price. These wings at Echo Bravo are great traditional Buffalo style wings and you can order them extra crispy as I did. The large order is twenty pieces at $37. This is still steep in my opinion (totaling$60 w/a beer, taxes and tip), but they are good. Moriarty's in Philadelphia comes in around the same price point for a large order, but it's the whole wing and is served on a large oval platter piled high for a comparison. So far Echo Bravo serves the best wings I have had in NYC, save for International Wing Factory UES, but those come at a steeper price point. I had them serve me half the wings at the bar and pack the rest for home. They did so, including carefully wrapping the celery and carrot sticks and including the blue cheese dressing that has chunks of blue cheese, yes substantial chunks. The celery and carrot sticks were fresh and crisp. The wings were the smaller bone sections, but were extra crispy and the sauce was the real deal, tangy, and plentiful. The flavor of the wings goes to the bone and they may be brined wings. I ordered them at the Hot level and that was perfect for me. The small square bar napkins are insufficient, but they have as many as you desire and they also have plenty of wet naps at the ready. So no worries. They have three flat screens behind the bar, another row of high top seating behind the bar stools and further back are other chairs and two/three topper tables, with other tables just inside and to the right of the entrance. There are plenty of seats to watch the screens that surely must go quickly for the big games and matches. The outdoor seating must be great during the Summer. Echo Bravo shares common ownership with Kilo Bravo and I would expect similar qualities there. The woman at Lucky Charlie recs Kilo Bravo for wings as well. Service was great and the bathroom was clean. Echo Bravo brought the receipts this Saturday night! Four stars!

A white woman with blonde hair answered the door and I explained this to her in great detail. She spitefully suggested I go to the police and file my complaint with them, when I know the 104th precinct in Ridgewood is going to do fuq all with the report and protect MTAs interest by default, instead of holding the worker who was in the wrong accountable. In what world does it make sense to suggest following up an MTA complaint with the NYPD? I said to the rude woman, the police won't help with my complaint. She then, arrogantly brushed me off and refused to help me. After asking why she wouldn't help me, her ridiculous reasoning for refusing to help was because she's more concerned about the "privacy" of others which is complete BS. Instead of doing the right thing and assisting someone trying to hold a complacent MTA worker accountable and disciplined for their misconduct, she denied me help because she had some sort of disdain and prejudice towards me, when I was nothing short of respectful in asking for a minute of camera footage.. There is no expectation of privacy in public especially for MTA workers who work for THE PUBLIC and are IN PUBLIC. I only needed a minute of footage to follow up with my MTA complaint and I'm gone, but the woman simply brushed me off. If the staff at Milo's Yard are this ignorant about privacy laws and quick to brush off a good samaritan who is doing the right thing, I can only imagine how they treat the patrons who put money into their establishment, which I'm willing to bet they treat them the same way. Regardless, this is the typical behavior I'd expect from a run down hipster bar currently gentrifying the once beautiful neighborhood of Ridgewood. We had reserved booths and tables in the back, but there is also a large bar as well. In the back where we were seated, the staff put the World Cup game on the projector so we could all watch. There are also games like Jenga available so we brought it over and played. No staff members came to our table to take our orders and said it was very much an order at the bar type situation. They offer a variety of snack and bar food and so I opted for a glass of the orange wine and a mozzarella stick order to share with the table. The mozzarella sticks were as expected and a reasonable portion. A cute spot for informal hang outs!

I could have drank multiples of those. For my main I had my usual, avocado toast. Not every establishment knows how to make a good avocado toast. Kafe knows what they're doing! Thick sourdough toast with smashed avocado, mixed greens, grape tomatoes with poached eggs that are topped with hummus (never would have thought to do that!) and smoked salmon. Very filling and perfectly executed. They also have amazing deals on Uber Eats. Things that are normally $17, you can get for only $10! Through delivery, I've had the Kafe Steak and Eggs grill master plate which was an enormous amount of food! Tender, perfectly seasoned steak and home fries. A whole side salad as well. Also has the Kafe Southern Chicken sandwich which was quite possibly the best chicken sandwich that I've ever had! An absolute monster sized sandwich with the crispiest, juiciest chicken on the fluffiest brioche bun. Some of the tastiest fries as well. Can't go wrong with anything here! At least the patrons at the other places have reasonable decency, and if they don't the bartender/bouncer does something about it.
