The tech asked me to pull right into the bay where they began setting up a new account while I could hear the tech begin working on our vehicle below. Within a few minutes, another vehicle pulled into the bay beside me. This oil change process ended up taking 55 minutes and nothing seemed to be wrong, although seemed a bit short staffed, the vehicle beside me ended up likely taking about 50 minutes for their same oil change. I hope to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they may be working out some things on their end with their process but I read on their website that their instant oil change should take 15 minutes. I'll give it another shot when my vehicle is due again but hope that things are smoother next time as my patience ran thin.

The young girl who assisted with my service was very kind and helpful. However there was an older guy and older woman with glasses who im guessing might be management as they were giving orders but didnt seem very interested in actually doing the work. The woman with glasses seemed as if she had an attitude when speaking to the other employees as well as rolling her eyes. And spesking to them as if they were dumb. I like the convienece of being able to get in and out quick with my work schedule but i dont think i will be recommending this place until they have better people running it.

They said I needed numerous fluid level flushes, shocks, tune up and even said it needed new hood support struts (hood stayed open just fine 3 weeks ago when I put windshield washer fluid in it.) When I left, the truck was skipping and choking before I left their lot......pulled it back into the bay, they looked at it, said it was fine. I left but the truck was STILL choking. Found out from another mechanic that was recommended to me that a spark plug wire was left off. Further...HERE'S THE BEST PART....I went home to check my Meineke invoices history and all those fluid level flushes had been done in 2024, 2025 and now in September of 2026...on a truck that travelled less than 1,000 miles over the last 3 years. (it's a 2nd vehicle so we don't drive it much)..They will up-sell you on all kinds of unnecessary services. My new mechanic told me that he has numerous stories from customers that we "hosed" at Meineke. DON'T GO THERE!!! There are plenty of other reputable businesses in Albemarle. Local folks shouldn't have to be stolen from. From 2024 to now, we spent over $9,600 at Meineke......How stupid I was!!! Joe D

I came back close to the designated time, and when I arrived they said that it would be about 3.5-4hr long wait time due to the volume of customers(which i was 5th in line). While sitting in line another associate approached the one checking me in and said, "hey this guy is here for something with his tires and said he had a 7/8am appointment, do you want me to tell him to f**k off?" Both my husband and I have had similar experiences here with appointment issues where we have been told even with an appointment that our wait time would be 2-3 hours due to walk-ins ahead of us.

Wasted an entire day at Toyota while I was under the impression that this situation was being taken care of.
