We stumbled upon this place on a whim while staying at Thunder Valley Casino for the weekend and wanted to venture out instead of eating at the casino. Based on the photos online, the food looked incredible and had us excited to try it. Unfortunately, it ended up being just okay--nothing really stood out or left a lasting impression. The highlight for me was the wide variety of hot sauces, which definitely helped elevate the flavors and made the meal more enjoyable.

We ended up ordering takeout from this spot and the food was top notch. I ended up getting a chorizo breakfast bowl and everything was so good. Normally brunch is very busy, so I recommend calling in an order if you'd rather eat at home or need something quick. I'd love to come back and try more of the menu.

Wow, the food and coffee here are amazing! I stopped in before church for some coffee and was swayed into buying a croissant. This wasn't just a regular croissant, it was cookie butter. Let me tell you, that was the best croissant I've had in awhile. The coffee was delicious too. The staff were so friendly and told me everything is made fresh in house and I believe it. I can't wait to come back and try more food!

The staff was very friendly. It's a small place but we were able to get a table as it was early on a Monday. The coffee and cappuccino were both good. Hubby and I shared the Jersey Giant Burrito and the Mother Clucker. The bun on the Mother Clucker was great and the sandwich was tasty. The burrito was ample and not over filled with potatoes as some often are. There was a good ratio of each ingredient. They had about 5 different sauces/hot sauces on the table. It was fun trying them. Great little spot in Lincoln!

10/10 we are so happy we found this place for breakfast during our visit in Lincoln. We ordered the chorizo bowl, bacondaise bowl, brown butter chocolate chip cookie, & banana bread muffin. Everything was absolutely delicious. Both bowls were packed with flavor. You can go wrong with either of them. The wake up buttercup latte was also yummy. Being from Louisiana we were looking for a breakfast packed with flavor and this place delivered!

this adorable little cafe in town that I just wanted to share with you. First of all, they have gluten-free options for everyone, which is a huge plus! The cafe itself is quite small, and the air conditioning wasn't working very well. It wasn't even that hot outside, so you can imagine how hot it would have been if it had been. But the employees were super friendly and helpful, and they even let us know that they were running behind on food. That's really thoughtful! They had forgotten to bring all our ordered items, but they offered a free dessert instead, which was super delicious and thoughtful. Oh, and the lattes were absolutely amazing! They were so good! They also had mimosa flights, which were super cute and delicious. Overall, I had a really great time at this cafe. I'd definitely recommend it! 10/10!

I have never had a better breakfast than at the Rebel Hen Cafe!!! I love their London Fog drink, Mother Cluckers sandwich, and everything else I've tried. Their breakfast potatoes are amazing and so is the Mexican corn salad.

What a delightful find! (And search and find you must because the cafe name is not visible from the street.) But there was a steady line early on Saturday so the secret is out. Delicious breakfast! I had the garden bowl with a London fog and my dad had the rebel hen croissant sandwich. A nice man in line ahead of us said the mother clucker chicken and avocado toast were incredible too. All the items in the case looked tempting for a grab and go option.

Rebel hen has been one of my go-to breakfast spots when I'm in town. I've been here a number of times, it's the kind of place that's easy to come back to when you want something consistent! This visit, I ordered the tacos that came highly recommend. I added a photo because it shows how generous they are with the toppings and sauces. These tacos were especially great because of the cheese crisp on the shell! Flavor wise it was savory (as breakfast tacos should be) and everything tasted fresh. Service has been consistently friendly and efficient every time I've been, the food usually comes out quickly even when they're busy. The vibe is casual and comfy, making it an easy spot for a relaxed breakfast without feeling rushed. I'll definitely keep coming back!

Had a fabulous meal in this cute little spot today with my niece. I was visiting from out if town and she suggested here for a late breakfast. Got a seat right away. You help yourself, order at the counter and prepay the tip, so be aware of that. Serve yourself water station, so request a cup with ice when ordering too. Food came relatively quickly and was very good. Large portions, great flavor and very filling. I got the French toast with a side of sausage with orange juice. The sausage is delicious, and the french toast did not disappoint the fresh berry topping was a nice touch. My niece really liked hers too. Her favorite was the sausage too. Highly recommend and will go again when I am in town.

    Super D.

Went here for lunch and got the half soup and salad combo. This was the lemon chicken rice soup and the Caesar salad.

I haven't tried this particular salad at Bennett's before and I was pleased. It's a very large portion, you easily could take some home. It was flavorful packed full of fresh greens, shredded grilled chicken, small chunks of avacado, corn and a mix of other delicious ingredients, and tossed in a light dressing. It came slightly warmed which was very enjoyable. I washed it down with an Arnold Palmer. Very refreshing. Sitting out on the patio was very pleasant as it wasn't too hot outside, and the space is air conditioned in any case. Bennett's service is always friendly and very accommodating and this particular time maintained that special quality. Whereas the flavors were fairly mild, it was still comforting and certainly good. The pasta trio was palatable overall, with each pasta having its own distinct flavor. My top favorite was the Meat Lasagna; super flavorful and cheesy. The Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo needed a little more sauce. I requested extra Alfredo sauce, which helped to make it more enjoyable. The server was friendly and professional. The atmosphere of the restaurant was vibrant and charming. Overall, Tomatina provided a dining experience that met standards by serving Italian food. She had a mission that night, and let's just say the dealers were more than happy to accept her donations. After watching her try her luck, I figured I had to step in and see if I could change the story. A few hands of blackjack later, the tables started looking a little friendlier. Somehow, I went from the guy who didn't even want to be there to the guy trying to win it all back. Beyond the laughs and the gambling, what stood out was the atmosphere. Thunder Valley has that exciting Vegas-style energy without having to leave Northern California. The property is beautiful, the staff was welcoming, and there's plenty to do whether you're there for gaming, food, or just a fun night out. I may not have walked in as a casino fan, but I definitely walked out appreciating the experience. Sometimes the best nights are the ones you didn't plan. We're not even checked out yet and we've had quite a bit of issues. The rooms are very spacious and nice, but please keep in mind if you are staying longer than a day then I don't think this place is the right fit for you. This place would probably be better for just an overnight stay because it's definitely not the comfort inn suites. The room does not include a microwave, they charge you an extra $10 to bring up a microwave to your room, and then an extra $10 a night that it stays in the room, which is ridiculous so cold food for the week for us. We have already spent over $700 just for the stay in general on top of that, they do not mention that you have to pay an extra hundred to 140 for another holding deposit after u check in. We had to cover three of our friends deposits that day because they had no idea since they already paid their half of the portion or I think they had already paid and most of my friends weren't getting paid until two or three days later so we had to lose a lot of our money that way to cover them. Valet parking was a bit of a mess. Was told that they need my ID and my insurance card and for my name to be on the insurance as well as the car. Which I understand, but as of right now, I am sharing my mom's car until I find a new car so it just was a whole process of that being inconvenient on top of just trying to get our stuff up to the rooms. Our ticket was also misplaced and taken and disposed of so that took an extra 1020 minutes for us to figure out how that happened because one of the new people accidentally took it with them when we were supposed to have it so we didn't get our stuff for awhile on top of the car. Birthday dinner at thunder Café was a bit of a mess TBH. Had to send my Alfredo back because there was no sauce on it, the chicken itself was dry and cold and not cooked all the way. On top of that do not spend $20 on the pasta because they will just give you two scoops of it and leave the rest of the bowl empty. I chose to get the pizza after that, which was fine. I took it to go since everybody was done with their food. Four of us ended up getting sick from the food there mind you I probably had a total of 10 people with me. So the next day a lot of my friends were throwing up in the toilet or stayed in the room all day due to not feeling good from the food. We were also supposed to use the pool to swim for a couple hours. Only to be told that whoever needs to use the pole needs to have ID and has to be specifically staying with us. No outside guest, even if it is for a birthday thing for a couple hours, which was very inconvenient on 103 day. We definitely should've booked somewhere at the comfort inn suites but my fiancé thought it would be nice to do something different and it definitely was the wrong decision. This place obviously just wants money on top of money and wants to make it inconvenient for u by not telling u everything before u check in and after, so I would not waste your time here. Looking forward to leaving tomorrow and not coming back. I wish we could get a refund off of this place considering how much we have spent and dealt with. On top of no cold water here in the bathroom sinks it's only steaming hot water when u wash ur hands or brush ur teeth. Not fun.
