Cute and comfy! Easy to see from the I-80. Easy to find and access. Private parking lot which they share with a gym and vet hospital. Good sized menu and friendly staff. I was very happy to see that they offered BOTH sugar feee caramel and vanilla. Most please only have sugar free vanilla. They offer soy, almond and oat milks for an extra .75 cents. They have seasonal specials and really cute and affordable merch! T shirts for $10 and mugs for $8. They have garage looking window roll up doors which let allow the place to filled with beautiful natural lighting. They have some cute tables that seat up to 4 and two little chairs in a corner which are aesthetically pleasing. It looks like they also can use part of the bet hospital space for seating too, you just have to ask the staff about it. I ordered a sugar free caramel and vanilla latte with oat milk and was very surprised at how smooth and velvety it was. Super cute shop to meet up with friends.

Amazing service and kind, compassionate baristas you can tell are passionate about their craft! Please try their drinks and stay for a while to relax in the cafe's natural lighting and comfortable seating. You know what they say: "The magic of a good barista lies in their ability to transform a simple bean into a moment of pure delight." Shoutout to Erika for making such amazing drinks and taking care of each customer!

Good coffee, steamers, and tea with a decent selection of pastries (very good, quality tested for you) and a light selection of grab and go food. Great patio seating option. Very friendly staff.

We came to Roanie's in Loomis after a late night watching fireworks needing a recharge. As we walked in, we were welcomed with a really nice atmosphere with a charming theme inspired by the blue roan horse, which I found neat. The service was decent; the barista was nice but didn't seem particularly enthusiastic. We tried the Banana Cloud Foam Iced Coffee and the Blueberry Iced Latte. Unfortunately, both tasted watered down, with the blueberry flavor being a bit sour and off-putting. We also had an almond croissant that was just okay--unfortunately, it tasted a bit stale. Overall, not the experience we were looking for after a great night of fireworks.

Great coffee. Very cute coffee shop in the area but the employees sound and look like they don't want to be there at all. Not friendly at all. Also the attire looks like they just rolled out of bed. Hope the owner will take that in consideration because this place has lots of potential!

i've been seeing roanie's all over instagram so i knew i needed to try it out. what a cute little coffee shop roanie's is! first off, it's connected to a pet hospital.. coffee AND doggies?! ok, love. when you walk in, it's absolutely adorable inside. the decor is so cute and love all the plants all over. the service was spectacular; the barista was so kind! tons of parking out front and nearby. they also have outside seating, which is so cute and great to bring your pups! coffee was delicious and will absolutely be back!

We heard about a new coffee shop in Loomis and had to make a trip in. It's located right by the freeway and easy to find. We took our time looking at the menu and the available pastries. I ordered an iced lavender latte and almond croissant. My daughter ordered mango smoothie and pumpkin muffin. She later asked for a small hot cocoa to go! We sat inside since it was a little too hot to enjoy the outdoor patio seating. Since we went on the weekend, the indoor, air conditioned patio with walk-up window wasn't open. My daughter was bummed so I told her we'll just have to come back during the week! Maybe for the BOGO 1/2 off all Iced & Frozen Drinks from 2pm - 4pm (daily).

I was stoked to try out a new coffee shop especially after all the cute pics on yelp. Traveled from west Roseville to Loomis and was disappointed with the drinks. Ordered a chai, mocha, blueberry muffin and bagel. All were okay at best. I'd come if you're nearby and need a caffeine fix or want a spacious place to meet up with friends and catch up over coffee. But I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to try. The barista was super sweet and the service was good.

Stopped by to try one of their new Spring menu specials! I decided to go with the orange honey almond latte! It was delightful and you could definitely taste the orange! (Definitely coming back to try the blueberry pie latte, also on the spring menu.) Other spring menu options include a sparkling lavender matcha and a raspberry frozen lemonade. It's a cute small spot, very clean and connects to the vets office next-door where they have extra seating in an atrium. They also offer pastries, oatmeal, salads & sandwich options. Everyone who works here is very friendly. If you come during warm weather, they have garage door walls that they open up so it's more of an indoor/outdoor atmosphere. If I were to add anything in here, it would be more sofa chairs or couch like seating options in case someone wants to come & read a book (like I do ) and don't want to sit at a table. I will note that they have two green chairs like this, but a couple more would be nice as those two are usually occupied.

Hands down one of my favorite local coffee spots in Placer! Coffee and pastries are good and place is always well maintained. This place is always clean and it's right beside a pet hospital. Super convenient and friendly for fur parents

Super cute! Love the breezy, open concept. Had a 16 oz ginger peach black iced tea for $4.50- delish! My daughter had a mango smoothie for $5. Way cheaper than Jamba! Love supporting small businesses. Convenient location off the freeway and next to Anytime Fitness. Hope they do great!

Hello! I saw old posts saying y'all have gluten free pastries. Do you still offer options?

Thanks for asking! We do have them on our regular menu. They are popular so we do run out from time to time. Stop in and see us some time.

Will you have air conditioning this week?

100%! It’s too hot outside so come enjoy the AC with us :-)

After being floored by the gorgeous flowers and plants in the nursery, we stumbled upon the café. We were greeted promptly, seated quickly, and enjoyed their beautiful outdoor patio. The banana bread French toast was a little dense, but still very tasty. We'd definitely go back and explore more items on the menu.

I want to start by saying that we've been coming to this establishment for many years, which makes…read moreit even more disappointing to see it continue to decline with each visit. When we arrived, we were seated quickly with no reservation and no wait, which was the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. Our server introduced himself, but communication was difficult throughout the meal. We ordered drinks and asked for a few minutes to review the menu. When we asked what the soup of the day was, he initially told us clam chowder, then immediately said he needed to go find out. More than 10 minutes later, he returned, and when we asked again, he admitted he had forgotten and left once more. After another lengthy wait, he finally informed us the soup of the day was split pea. We then attempted to order a pizza and were told that pizzas could not be ordered until 10:30 a.m. At the time, it was only around 9:30 a.m. I decided to order the Peach & Prosciutto Flatbread appetizer instead, only to be told that couldn't be ordered either because it was made in the oven. None of this was communicated when we were first seated, nor was it noted on the menu. It makes little sense to open at 9:00 a.m. while offering guests a menu containing multiple items that aren't actually available for another hour and a half. Had this been clearly explained from the beginning, it would have saved a great deal of frustration. By this point, I was hot, irritated, and no longer interested in ordering food. Had we not already received our drinks, I likely would have left. The other members of our party ordered the $21 breakfast burrito and the $25 smoked prime rib sandwich. Both were extremely mediocre for the price. The burrito was wrapped in a corn tortilla rather than a flour tortilla, had already come unrolled, and quickly became a messy, difficult to eat disaster. The prime rib sandwich was served on very dry bread and lacked flavor. Neither dish justified the premium pricing. The dining environment was equally disappointing, there were flies everywhere. We spent much of the meal swatting flies away from our food and ourselves, making it nearly impossible to relax or enjoy the experience. Management should seriously consider addressing this issue with proper fly traps or Quikstrike. After our food arrived, our server never returned to check on us, ask how the meal was, or offer water refills. When the bill was finally brought out, we waited another 10+ minutes before he returned to process payment. By then, we simply wanted to leave. What was most noticeable was how many people were waiting for tables while service moved at an incredibly slow pace. Faster, more attentive service would have allowed tables to turn over more efficiently and reduced wait times for other guests. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing dining experiences we've had here. Between the poor communication, lack of attentiveness, unavailable menu items, mediocre food, uncomfortable dining conditions, and excessive wait times, the value simply isn't there anymore. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed. The service we received warranted a $0 tip, and for the first time, we're questioning whether we'll ever return.

Thankfully there was plenty of room when we arrived for our party of three. Their decor is cute with plenty o goose to view, as well as their baked goods. The hubster tried the Ham and Peach Grilled Cheese, the MIL did the Pick Two which included a half Rosemary Chicken Sandwich and the Strawberry Poppyseed salad, I also got the Pick Two and chose half Citrus Club Sandwich and the Street Corn Cesar salad. Everything was made fresh to order and was incredibly tasty! The hubster and I also shared a Cherry Limeade Summer Sipper which was divine. We decided we could not leave with out taking a few goodies with us for later. So we bought a Lemon Bar, a Blackberry Cheesecake Bar, and a Chocolate Sea Salt Shortbread. I still feel like this feedback should be given though, because the situation could have been avoided... When I arrived there was no one in line in front of me. I place an order for a single latte then waited... Then I waited and waited. It took 30 minutes to receive my latte. That is truly unacceptable. I will explain the situation further. There was 1 person working at the shop. She was kind and had a positive attitude. However there was an issue with the order of operations. She was constantly taking everyone's orders, and no one was there to make the drinks. Generally a coffee shop will take an order, maybe 2, then make the orders that were already taken. But this was not the case. She continued to take orders until the coffee shop was completely full of people waiting for their order. The people there were getting anxious and one couple told me they have already been waiting 30 minutes for their food. They were talking to each other and mentioned that they might need to abandon their food and leave because they had an appointment. They asked about the food and the girl mentioned that it might be another 5 minutes. They anxiously waited. Luckily, some girl rushed in and started working. But this entire time a man was standing awkwardly behind the counter with his own coffee. A customer asked him if he was making drinks and he told him, "No, I'm just the owner." That is odd to me. I also heard from a regular that they thought the owner was a female, so maybe his is a co-owner? Regardless, he did not help and he did not give customers a good impression. It seemed inappropriate also for him to drink his coffee behind the counter. The perception that customers have mean something... But after the second employee started working, orders slowly began to be fulfilled. The upset customers slowly received their food and drinks. It took me 30 minutes (around 28 really) to receive mine. The drink itself was okay, but order of operations did not make sense for the situation. I hope that this feedback is taken in a constructive way. The coffee shop itself is in a great location and had nice decor. The tables were clean. And the employee was nice. But it would be helpful to have a heads up when they are that far behind. They should mention the wait time. And it makes sense to take care of orders before accepting new orders. I personally won't be back, but others I spoke to mentioned this experience was not the usual, so that is hopeful.
