Karen's has been a second home to our group of friends for over a decade. There is a variety of food to choose from and I have tried many options but my all time favorite is the vegetarian omelette. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming to which we always look forward to a generous greeting. We had over 20 people today and were served without a flaw. Our server was also very attentive and made sure our coffee cups were frequently filled. We have vowed to brunch there monthly with our group of friends. My wife and I walked in and was told to pick anywhere we'd like. About 2 minutes later, another party of 2 walked in. The party of the 2 sat right away, were given menus, and got their drink order taken and given. We waited about over 5 minutes to see if the server would come and give us a menu and take our drink order. Our Friendly Friends of Lincoln has met at Karens for many years. We love the variety of delicious food and we love the friendly service. They always accomodate if we show up with more than expected. Mang and Bonnie always make us feel welcome and often do a raffle for jewelry!. I had Chicken fried steak. My wife had Cobb salad. My Chicken fried steak was a moderate portion that was tender, for the meat used. The sauce was EXTREMELY bland. Detracted from the meal. The Cobb salad used deli sliced meat and very plain. No avocado and very little dressing. The ranch dressing was very watery and I believe they cut the original with water to stretch the product. We chose Karen's due to the reviews. However, for us, we will not be returning. read more

Had the pleasure of having breakfast here yesterday. I enjoyed the Hawaiian Eggs Benedict with Home fries and an Iced Mocha. Google Maps took us for a ride of highway 65, but once we got to the old Lincoln Blvd we recalculate the address and found this cute place. My husband ordered us lunch from here today and it did not disappoint. I was in the mood for something spicy so I ordered the Kicker Philly and my husband ordered the Cowboy. We just ate at Karen's Little Cafe for the first time (May 2025) and were blown away. The food was excellent. We had pancakes and hash browns. The pancakes were big, fluffy and delicious, cooked perfectly. Hash browns were crispy and also off the charts. Also a Robin's Veggie sandwich. It too was delicious and a generous portion. Tasty and filled with fresh vegetables, toasted fresh bread and a side of delicious fruit. We have a new favorite spot and can't wait to try a number of other items on the menu. We are from out of town after a concert and overnight getaway at Thunder Valley Casino. Wanted breakfast the next morning and went on Yelp to find somewhere close. Saw Karen's and decided to go check it out. Only 10 minutes away? Let's go! Let me start off by saying the food is absolutely fire. Burritos, omelettes, bacon.... doesn't matter. Taste like diner food and really good food at that. It is overpriced though. I decided to come here after I had a pedicure. I was hungry and I've heard lots of great stuff about Karen's little café. This is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere right away as soon as I walked in, I was greeted and was told have a seat wherever you like will be with you in a minute within five minutes I had my order taken and not even 10 minutes later my food arrived. I decided to try the omelette which is three eggs and I got cheese and bacon and hashbrowns and an English muffin it was very good very quick very efficient. I couldn't eat the whole thing on one visit because it was it was so big so I ended up taking the rest home. They have a white selection to choose from. They don't just have breakfast. They have lunch items and much more great establishment friendly staff delicious food. If you have not tried them I highly recommend that you try Karen's little café in Lincoln, California greatest establishment great food great experience. After not eating for about a whole day I was ravenous Monday morning. Found this place only three minutes away by car. Reviews looked promising. Pleasant surroundings, and only one occupied table when I walked in. I was promptly greeted by the waitress after I seated myself in an ample booth. I started with a nice big glass of cold tomato juice. Within minutes my very large biscuits and gravy breakfast was in front of me. I had ordered the bacon crispy, which it was. I didn't really need the two eggs and two strips of bacon, although they were prepared as ordered. I was mainly interested in the B&Gs and the hash browns which were included for a dollar extra. The biscuits were fresh and soft under the tasty sausage gravy. The hash browns were cooked perfectly: crisp on the outside, soft within. My eyes were bigger than my stomach! I had to get a box for half the biscuits and gravy and most of the eggs. Total a bit over $20. In all, a nice discovery! I frequently work in Lincoln and this place is walking distance. Really good. Walked in on a Sunday after 9am and there was plenty of seating. After we sat down. A bunch of people came in after us and it got pretty busy. Kids chicken strip meal $8 and charged extra for the lemonade, and came with a handful of fries and two small strips. My blt was 1 piece of bacon, 1 slice of avocado. 1 tomato. We were greeted by a friendly staff member and requested to sit outside. She nicely obligated us and set us up on their patio. I order the basic special breakfast, the country potatoes were very nicely seasoned and cooked just right. My over medium eggs were over cooked, rye toast was very nice. Husband ordered the biscuit and gravy special. Which was huge with skyscraper size biscuits cut in half. The gravy was tasty and well seasoned. The plate was so large he couldn't eat all of it. Such a cute little brunch and lunch restaurant! It feels like home. Super toasty and the smell of coffee really radiates the restaurant. They make espresso lattes!! Dirty chai for me please. Their biscuits and gravy!!! My good gosh, they have seriously nailed the fluff and gravy. I could have eaten the whole entree alone but unfortunately we shared it. Although the waitress was sweet, the service was poor. After we were seated and drinks were brought to us, a couple walked in and placed a large order to go. Their order was taken before ours and therefore we had to wait. An hour later we got our food. Part way through my meal I found a hair - yuck. My wife and I went here on a date brunch on a random Tuesday and it wasn't super busy. They played some of the greatest hits from back in the day and the owner/server was very attentive and kind. We got seated and ordered our food (pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs with a side of hash-browns, and French toast with sausage and two over easy eggs) everything was delicious when it came out. Hash-browns were cooked through with a little bit of crunch. The pancakes were HUGE and fluffy and the French toast was a large portion as well. French toast normally has some eggy parts to it but this was made perfectly and was sweet. The eggs were made exactly as ordered too with both the sausage and bacon being cooked to perfection. Although all of this came out to just under $45 after taxes I believe that the quality and the amount of food given was perfect for that price. read more
