before our nightmare of over an hour waiting on food as people who sat down after us were already eating!
    Tori W.

We waited for 45 minutes before the place opened, long line- then finally seated and was great until everyone around us got to eat even people who were sat after.. we never got our food!! It's not a big place! Table of 6! Now it's been almost 48 minutes! Still no food! Don't come here again! The excuses are just plain lying! We had our excitement and dinner ruined! Don't not come here- no feeding alligators either! They don't care either- they don't see anyone but themselves and excuses. Btw it was the waitress fault. The woman in charge- kept saying we only make it when it's entered- it's the waitress. Ok if the waitress just would've said- after I entered your appetizer of crab claws- I forgot to put your order in! But to keep lying? So the fried shrimp was OLD and fishy taste! They were gross. The amount of money you pay is NOT worth the tiny scrapes of food you get! The children's meal was tiny balls of chicken! McDonald's had bigger pieces! Our bill came out to 165.00 We left a 9 dollar tip and got the heck out of there! Worst resturant ever experience in Florida! Mind you we waited all YEAR for them to open! My mother in law said it used to be better! People are in line for this? When we did get our food, we were told it's cause flounder takes longer to cook. Uh huh- cause you have to go out there catch it and then cook it right? Our waitress Trisha! Was the worst in communication of where our food was- after 5 times asking!

The food is mediocre, the price is outrageous. My fiance and I went and the bill was over 100 dollars. And the wait was over 50 minutes.

Good food, fast and attentive service. Nice view. Worth the wait. Bring a chair or golf seat.

Loved the food, the service, the ambience and everything in between UNTIL my wife and I decided to…read morego alone one night, as our lodging was directly across the street. I won't lie, my wife looked exquisite that night! We had been down by the bar for about 10 minutes as we were waiting for our table, as is very common on almost every night! We order two mixed drinks from the bar, even though waiting in line at the bar was just as much a wait for a table at times... my wife notices a gentleman down at the end of the bar and he's eyeballing or making her feel slightly uncomfortable... and as we wait for our drinks to be made, which took an unusually long time as they were sitting at the end of the bar at the bartender tried to feel five and six hours at a time, which in itself is not in common either... so I finally get the drinks and I noticed one has a cherry and one doesn't. No big deal, I like cherries, so I took the one with the Cherry and gave my wife the one without the cherry on top. mine tastes, great, hers. She begins to complain is so very bitter and strong, and she's like "taste this and how strong it is." So, I taste hers and it has a slight bitter bite, and much stronger than mine, so I mix our drinks together to dilute hers and about that time... My wife says to me,"I'm gonna move next to you and get closer..." so, I scooted her chair over next to me, she sits in the chair, we get very close, and as I'm going in for a nice fat tongue kiss, she becomes very pliable in her sitting posture and begins to slide in her chair toward the floor as she was telling me something's not right... long story short she said we both felt the need to exit, so I put her arm around my shoulder and supported the rest of her body with my hips, and began to walk her out of the restaurant... no one would've ever known to the extent she was beginning to become paralyzed as it was all sitting in as we were walking out of the restaurant and headed back across the street to our accommodations. We barely made it to the truck... I was praying she maintained some sort of ability to be able to keep her feet to some degree. And as she began to tell me more her mouth and bottom lip begin to slur her speech, began to become very slurred and by the grace of God, and by the time we got her to our bed in the condo she couldn't move anything on her body except her lips. She was completely paralyzed.. . She was completely incapacitated and all because I drink the drink with the cherry... so I can only guess or surmise that the plan was to incapacitate me so that someone could get their hands on her while I was incapacitated, had I drank the drink that had no cherry on top! What a ride!

The setting was also beautiful. We chose to sit outside overlooking the bay. While it was dark enough that we had to use our phone flashlights to see our food, we didn't mind because the skyline view was lovely and we enjoyed watching the glow-in-the-dark kayaks on the water. Unfortunately, the service was a different story. You order and tip at the counter before being served, then find your own table. Once seated, it was unclear whether food would be brought out, whether our name would be called inside, or what the process was. No one ever came outside to check on us, offer napkins, provide condiments, or ask if we needed anything. I eventually sent my 11-year-old daughter inside to ask for napkins. The restaurant was not busy, and there appeared to be plenty of staff on hand. However, it felt like everyone was focused on cleaning and closing for the night rather than taking care of the guests who were still dining. My only suggestion would be to reconsider the tipping process. Since gratuity is collected before any service is provided, it's difficult to know what level of service you're rewarding. If I returned, I would likely skip the pre-tip option and bring cash to tip afterward based on the actual experience. The food was excellent, but the lack of service left a lasting impression. Based solely on the meal, I'd absolutely return. Based on the service, I'm not sure I would.

What really set Gabe apart was his combination of professionalism and personality. He had an effortless way of balancing friendliness with expert timing: refilling drinks before they were half gone, anticipating our needs, and sharing just the right amount of fun anecdotes without pulling focus from the meal.
