Don't ever use this company. We were told that our move out would be done by 2 pm, yet they finished at 9 pm. We were told that it would be loaded on one truck, yet at 7 pm, they told us that the truck they brought was not large enough - then they blamed us for that. Not only that, but Chris, after he claimed it was our fault, started using profanity against me. I asked him to stop using profanity, and he yelled at me, "Do you want me to leave?" By that time, I just wanted them to finish, and I told him that. Then, after they agreed to bring in another truck, as he packed, he insulted me often. He asked if I had served in the US armed forces, and when I said no, he said he could see why. He said that I must be a Trump voter and must eat dogs (yes, this is true). He continually insulted me. I have never encountered such treatment ever! He refused to give me the owner's (his wife) telephone number so I could call her after hours since the move took so long. I got her number through another source, and she was very apologetic, but he did not stop. I do try to get along with everyone, and not provoke anyone as I am a pastor. But, he was relentless. The company itself, did not tell us the truth about price and delivery. We were supposed to get our delivery the next day, but we only got around 80% then, and the rest three days later. I told my realtor of their treatment, and she was livid - she knows me and knows that I would never provoke such behavior. This company has no integrity. DO NOT USE THEM! read more

Would not recommend this company. When you book their service, they will leave out the details and you will end up paying more. They showed up at my house and didn't even start packing until about 2 hours later. One of the guys asked for my wifi password so he could tune in on sports. They complained the whole time. Told me they were sending my stuff to a storage facility when it was supposed to be delivered straight to my house. And they started charging for every little thing last minute. We were quoted the day of for $1300 and my the time they left, it was around $2400. When paying, you have to use a credit card up front for down payment but on day of moving, they want payment through venmo, Apple Pay, or Zelle. Said they couldn't take a credit card. Overall a horrible experience and I'm still currently moving things out my house because they didn't take everything. If they did, I'm sure that would have been another $1000. read more

The movers arrived on time, were very careful with our furniture, were very polite and were incredibly hard workers!! Don't use this company!!! They placed red inventory stickers on my furniture and the ink from the stickers bled into my furniture and I cannot get the ink out. When I contacted the general manager, Carrie D Partello, she tells me that this could not have happened so she refuses to pay for the damage. The problem I have is not the damage to the furniture....it's the fact that East Coast Moving will not accept responsibility when the problem was clearly their fault. What a great experience! East Coast transported my heavy furniture from Charleston to Ash. They don't waste time as they are so organized. They pay attention to the details and protect the furniture. The delivery to Ash involved moving old furniture around before delivery of the furniture from Charleston. They were always willing to help with all requests and had unending patience.
