Pepperoni rolls came out very quickly and were as good as we have ever had, the marinara sauce that came with it complemented the rolls. Pizza arrived with pepperoni and onion on my half and onion and green pepper on my wife's half. Crust was without a doubt the best crust I have ever had, especially the outer crust, very light and airy and would have been really good to have some olive oil to go with it it was so good. Pizza was very thin crust as we liked it and it was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of oregano. We probably would've liked a little more cheese on it but it was certainly sufficient. Favorite lunch spot (sometimes dinner). Today, I walked in right behind a senior gentleman who was accompanied by a professional caretaker. He walked with a cane and had a gait belt around his waist (fall risk mitigator). He and his caretaker ordered. He paid with a card and was seemingly having difficulties seeing and punching in/signing the keypad. "Jane," the young lady behind the counter, smiled the whole time and sincerely exuded patience while this elderly man situated himself. The entire staff operated like a well-oiled machine. It has been some time since I was last here. The building offers a substantial amount of parking for visitors, and inside, there is a generous seating capacity. When you visit for lunch, you can typically find single slices of pizza available. However, if you arrive after lunch, those single slices won't be offered anymore, and you will need to purchase a whole pie instead. A cheese pizza was chosen by my son, while I opted for a calzone packed with meat. Since we visited on a Friday at approximately 6pm, there were many people around. Costs are in the range of moderate to high. It took about 10 minutes for my son's pizza to arrive, but my calzone took nearly 20 minutes for some unknown reason. To make matters worse, they delivered a Hawaiian style calzone instead of the meat lovers I had requested, leaving me to wait an additional 30 minutes for my meal. When my food finally arrived, my son had already finished his pizza. My son was underwhelmed by his pizza; he remarked that it reminded him of the pizza served at a bowling alley. Was in town visiting and we ordered from here. We got a pizza, wings, an antipasto salad, and garlic rolls. The pizza was decently close to NY/NJ pizza. The one I would choose the most in this area. The garlic rolls were fantastic and the wings were good. The salad was good but reminded me more of a chef salad. We chose to go, but have eaten in the pizzeria before and its traditional style atmosphere of a pizza place. The service was great and on time when we arrived to pickup. You order your food at the counter first and then someone brings it to your table when it's ready. Service was good, everyone pretty nice. Growing up in New Jersey, I took it for granted that we had great pizzerias pretty much on every corner. That's why when I find a good place for pizza, it is a time to rejoice and celebrate (and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of pizza in hand?). I have to say that I was impressed with my slice with extra cheese. When they said extra cheese, they meant extra cheese. The ambiance here is typical strip mall pizza place. Nothing fancy, but that is perfectly fine. There is nothing fancy or pretentious about pizza and the surroundings, at least in.my opinion, should reflect that. Service here was good and it was an overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend East Coast Pizza and I will give it an overall rating of five stars. I live in Apollo Beach and the pizza was still warm by the time I got home this pizza was a large meat lovers and the price is about $20. Excellent crust, New York style thinner chewy. First attempt here and we tried the meat lovers pizza with jalapeños. First, it looks like the crust was prepackaged, preformed, and not handmade. The sauce was the only redeeming quality of the pizza. It had a really nice tangy tomato taste to it. The cheese was OK. It looked like the ham came out of an Oscar Meyer container that they cut up and put on top of the pizza. I'm not even sure what the sausage was. The pepperoni had no taste at all and it was buried underneath the cheese and cooked there. The crust was soggy, and the overall taste was pretty mediocre. We had to completely cover it with Parmesan, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and oregano to make it somewhat acceptable. Won't be back!!! Service at East Coast Pizza is always very fast and friendly. If you're a regular like I am most of the time - they'll make you feel like family - they know you're name and typically what your order is going to be. I usually come for their lunch special - which they have a variety of choices... two slices, a slice and a salad, hero and fries, calzone or stromboli + more. Usually there's about five to six different slices to choose from for lunch - ranging from Cheese Pizza, to Buffalo Chicken, to Supreme... all for a decent price - and the drink is always included (yes, free refills)! The quality of the pizza is my favorite because it's packed with flavor, not too much sauce, and as I'm trying to be healthier - I enjoy that the crust is thin. The ambience inside is nice; usually busy for lunch - but there's typically always a booth open... and there's a back space that I have yet to even see - but there's a bunch of space back there too. I personally enjoy the music they play; it's not the fancy Italian stuff, it's the upbeat stuff I grew up with.. ranging from 90s to Now. The pizza here is as close as you are going to get to a pizzeria in New York City. This place is for Italian-american pizza. This is not Papa Johns or Dominos. They say 30 mins for pick up, cook it right away and have it ready in 15 mins so when you arrive at exactly 30 Mins, it's burnt and cold. We chose a 10 inch Hawaiian, lasagna, caesar salad, and cheesy bread. We took a while at the counter deciding what we wanted , the young lady taking our order was very patient and didn't rush us. Our food was prompt, the servers were friendly and upbeat. The lasagna serving was huge, would feed two easily. The 10 inch pizza would feed two with a small appetite or one with a large appetite. Never knew this place existed and have been bowling across the street for over a year. On a Friday night, it was packed. It's a little funky how you order your food, get a seat and they bring it to you, as it creates a jam up front. The pizza was worth the wait, which was about 25 minutes. We ordered a large with sausage and green pepper, and it was perfect. Thin crust pizza, plenty of good sauce, cheese and toppings. We were seated in the back with a group of friends who have been here numerous times. I think they somehow made a reservation which is why we were in the back.
