It was past lunch time and we asked Siri for the nearest place to eat. Willy's popped up. We stopped in for a quick bite for take out before an appointment. It was perfect timing as there was little to no crowd. We ordered 4 slices: half cheese and half pepperoni. It was ready in 14 minutes and we were on our way. New place pizza night landed on Willy's this week. While we took the pizza to go, noticed the inside was clean and bright with indoor seating and some TVs for entertainment. Service was super fast as the pizza was ready upon arrival on time. Once home, we opened up the security sealed box (check my pics). Interesting feature! The pizza itself was pretty good and the ingredients blended well. Nothing tasted old or soggy. The crust was good, but I would have preferred it a little crispier. The NY styled pizza hit mostly all the notes for me, and had it a crispier crust would have gotten a 5 star. Hopefully another time they can improve this. For my husband, he thought it just average, but I give it a 4 out of 5. The XL was about $27 including tax and all 5 toppings, nowadays that's considered a decent price to some. So... To answer the magic question, yes we will be giving this another try soon and ordering more of a typical meat lovers or pepperoni pizzq to rate. This place is a rare gem! One of the best NY style pizza places I've ordered from ever! The pizza was huge, delicious, not greasy and cooked perfectly. They have wings and reasonable prices for excellent quality. The service I received ordering over the phone was great. All my questions were answered and my order was just as expected. My mom and I decided to visit Willie's on a whim because we were offered a large free pizza (from Rent King-check them out to on Kingsway) and called in a to-go order but once we entered the establishment we realize wow this is a nice place. We decided to look at the menu and , decided why not sit in and eat. I'm not sure what the waitress name was. I want to say it was Lisa or Loren but she was so sweet and again the name could be wrong cause she only told me over the phone, but she was actually addressing me by name, which is very uncommon at certain places anyways we ordered the pizza in addition we ordered wings, garlic knots and everything was so good. Everything was so fresh. The garlic knots were soft. It was so refreshing to have a good fresh awesome pizza. I must say we will be back. It's a hidden gem which you'd pass by unless you were looking for it. Unassuming strip mall with plenty of parking. The interior is split with a separate dining and bar area. Service is excellent staff (Tim) are attentive and helpful. Numerous television sets around can provide entertainment. Menu choices are enough to keep you interested, but hey come for the pizza. The garlic knots were fresh and hot and the dipping sauce flavorful. The pizza was as close to NY/NJ that we've had here in Florida since we moved here. Was in the neighborhood and decided to give them a try. I ordered a Sicilian pizza with half pepperoni. The place is nice and comfortable. And the staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza was good. It was a little thick for my preference. I will have to go back and try a regular style pizza . Overall I would definitely recommend them. read more

I was greeted enthusiastically by Tim behind the counter who was great when it came to my experience at this Willy's location! He even brought my food out to my car when I was talking on the phone with someone of which he really did not have to do so my hat goes off to you sir for excellent customer service and interaction! I had the sausage peppers and extra onions and it was great it was also complimented by my side order of onion rings which were tasty! My wife and daughter had the spaghetti and meatballs and also the chicken parmesan of which both of them said needed a little bit more seasoning but it was plentiful and enough to share or save for leftovers! I am glad though that my neighbor hook me up with a gift card for my birthday to come to this place because I can tell you this much that their food does taste like authentic New York style pizza / Foods and I anxiously look forward to my next visit to try their Pizza! Absolute beautiful and spectacular food experience. The pizza was one the best I have ever had, it was so crunchy, cheese was perfect, and the sauce was this sweet delicious taste. Stopped by because I had recalled that this place was given good reviews. The new owner has renamed it Bloomingdale Pizza. The crust is thicker than a standard neopolitan pie and crispy on the edges. Pepperoni is not spicy but very good and the cheese has plenty of flavor. Also definitely a nice garlic/basil flavor to the pie overall which is excellent. The owner is super ice and accommodating. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out on really good pizza. Our server (Tim) was very friendly. We asked about the restaurant and it's history, and he gladly filled us in. It is a "Mom & Pop" business, and it certainly is reflected in everything we experienced. We had a Large 18" White Pizza with Spinach and Tomatoes. It was possibly the best pizza I have ever had. I was the only eater close to noon on a week day despite the nearby Mex place having a full parking lot. The ow.ner said the Bloomingdale Pizza on Bloomingdale Ave was making a go and a 2nd pizza place and they were fairly new here. I was in the mood for spaghetti so ordered that from the menu. Came with a fresh small salad with a house dressing and 2 excellent garlic knots. Got to talking with the owner and forgot to take a photo of the entree. It had a well balanced marinara sauce-not too acidic, sweet or salty. Too much to eat for lunch so got another meal out of it. Service was quick, prices fair. We went here a week ago and when i tell you it was the best pizza ive had in florida weve been to many local and non local pizza shops. Hands down the best of several coasts. However we go back a week later i drove a half hour thats how impressed we were. We get the pizza and the dough is extremely thin in the middle and soggy like a wet noodle but the crust and everything else done. I told the waitress and held up the piece of pizza you could almost see thru it. I then heard her telling the guy in the back about it . Then he says oh god oh god oh god and laughes all passive aggressively. She returns to the table and i told her i heard everything and will never be back. I then said is that the owner, she said no. If that was one of my employees hes gone on the spot. Dragged out. Youre letting some pos ruin your business. Again its shameful because it was beyond good the first time. Now i see true colors and how the business operates. Good luck my friend you wont be around long if you continue to employ people like that. This pizza was very bland. It was about 90% cheese and 10% sauce and that's no exaggeration. There was almost no flavor. This is not a review to demean the business, but for those of you who know pizza, I'm a huge Pizza Rock fan on the other side of Parsons and this pizza just doesn't compare. I took the pizza home and let it cool for a bit and the center of each slice just about disintegrated (see picture). I'm very unimpressed. I paid $25 for this and a small order of (5) mozzarella sticks. Those were worse than any frozen ones you get from the store unfortunately. After seeing some great reviews on a local FB page, my family and I decided to stop in and try the weekend buffet. It's not necessarily a traditional buffet, but more of an "All you can eat" pizza, cheese sticks and garlic knots. Only $10. Once you choose what you would like, it's heated up in the pizza oven and comes to your table fresh and hot. Pizza was phenomenal. Crust was thin and had just the right amount of crispness. I tried Bloomingdale's for the first time yesterday and will definitely go back. I ordered one pepperoni slice to go, and wished I had gotten a second. I sprinkled on some complimentary parm, red pepper, and herbs sitting on the table. It made the tasty pizza even better! One other attribute is the super friendly gentleman who took my order. I think he may have been the owner, I believe his accent was Italian. He was extremely personable, and I loved his enthusiasm for the pizza! I'm looking forward to my next visit, definitely recommend. The restaurant is in a nice little neighborhood area, the restroom was clean, and it didn't take long for my order.
