Tried this place with a couple of my coworkers and was delicious. The pizza was great and fresh, definitely a good place to eat and enjoy with friends. Now, the location was dirty. I used to order just 2 slices with Marinara on the side but it just wasn't enough pizza!! So now my husband and I split a large pizza and a BOWL of marinara sauce HAHA!! Today I was in the mood for some wings and let me tell you I am a hard critic for wings and typically dont eat all of them but today I consumed all of them they were so awesome and crispy and no slime texture to them. The pizza was sitting on the counter for a good 8 minutes before it was brought over to us. Asked for mushrooms they just put them on top didn't cook it with the mushrooms. The other slice was half a slice. Didn't eat the mushrooms and got half a slice. Not what I paid for. Said something they told me that is a regular slice size , but did offer to replace both I refused because honestly it shouldn't have came to that. read more

The food was fairly decent. Pizza crust was halfway decent after we reheated it in the oven both of them they made the crust a little bit crispier as that's what we like. Flavors were fairly bland, however and they forgot to add black olives, mushrooms, meatballs, and onions to the pizza as requested and paid for. Delivery was good not sure if we would use them again but whenever you order pizza for delivery is a crapshoot. Paying a $50 for a pizza and not having all the ingredients is always a disappointment especially when it's a mid afternoon when it's not that busy at the location. Been trying a bunch of pizza spots in the area and so far I think this is the best place. Pizza is pretty decent. Coming from Little Italy in the Bronx where there's a pizza shop on every corner, I don't expect to find NY pizza in this area but this place is pretty damn close. I still need to try their white pizza but so far their cheese and special pizza are really good. I wasn't crazy about their Stromboli. It's not authentic Stromboli so I would skip that. The best thing overall that I enjoyed from this place was the garlic knots. If you have to order anything on the side with your order, go with the garlic knots. They are (dare I say) just as good at NY garlic knots. They're soft (not dry and hard like other places) and are drowned in Parmesan and garlic (which is how it should be). This would be the first review I have ever done without eating the food. My son likes this place, and he really wanted their Pizza for his Dinner. I did not want pizza, so I stopped to see if I could get him a Slice & Drink or a Kids Meal. We walked in at 5:03pm. When a female employee walked by and said, "Hello, I will be right with you." So we took the moment to look at the Menu and discovered their Lunch Special of a Slice & Drink was from 11am-5pm and they didn't have any Kids Meals. When she came back at 5:05pm, I inquired about my son wanting to get a Slice & Drink. She informed me that they can't do slices after 5 pm. I find it super odd that if I would have walked in 3 minutes earlier, he could have been served a Slice, but immediately at 5pm, no more slices are allowed. Do they have a machine that immediately discards the pizza being used for slices at 5 pm? This would be the first local pizza restaurant I have seen that does not have some sort of Kids Meal, whether it be a pasta meal, personal pizza, or even slices. I've been getting pizza from this place for a long time now and they have the best pizza in the area, everyone is always nice and friendly as well. The menu is all fairly priced too and they regularly do deals throughout the week, just one downside tho is the pizza is usually a little greasy as per every pizza place so there is no avoiding that but a napkin always solves that problem. I ordered the Philly bomb pizza and it was delicious I could've done without the cheddar sauce and maybe add jalapeños but I still enjoyed it . Tried this place today for a quick cheap bite, they had 2 slices and a soda for $5.99 which my boyfriend and I shared. It was fine but nothing special, not bad but wouldn't go out of my way to return. If I was shopping in that plaza I would stop in though. This place is hit or miss. The first time we ordered from here (about a month ago) the pizza and wings were amazing. Today, not so much. The pizza barely had any sauce and cheese and our wings were dry and hard. My Family and I are calling it chicken jerky. I called and complained, and they offered me 20% off of my next bill. I got off of the phone and tried to keep eating, but we just couldn't do it. So I called back and asked if we could have our wings replaced. The girl placed me on a brief hold, came back to the phone and told me that they acknowledged that the wings are overcooked, but that they cannot make us some more because they would most likely end up the same way. Ordered a small pizza with cheese, sausage, mushrooms and green peppers. Garlic cheese bread. Zeppoli. This was $32.00 worth of food. The pizza barely had cheese on it and the peppers were raw, mushrooms canned and I didn't even notice the sausage. The garlic cheese bread was a small sandwich roll with maybe 2 oz of cheese on the whole thing. The zeppoli was probably the best thing and they were okay at best, pretty sure they were baked. Frozen pizza would have been betters a Totinos frozen pizza that you can get at Walmart for $1.25. read more

Love this place! Great Philly Cheese Steaks, made with real Amoroso's bread and "whiz"! They even have a Philly Cheese Steak pizza, which is as good as the sandwich. The meatlovers pizza is also awesome. They have two pin ball machines tucked into a corner to keep the kids busy, so bring quarters. This is my second time eating here the first time it was AMAZING! not busy and very fast. However, I returned this time and im extremely disappointed. I got the Philly Cheese steak no bell peppers extra mushrooms. When I got home I started to pick at the meat that fell off the sandwich. The meat tasted like dirt as I chewed it had a crunch. When we got our slices, although nowhere near the size of a slice that you'd get in NYC, the taste was pretty close! We thought that it was good enough to take a pie home. We ordered some wings, and an antipasto salad. My wife likes the wrongs, but the salad, I wouldn't order again. I felt they skimped on the meats and cheese, compared to all the others that I've had elsewhere. The pizza however... Didn't look like the pizza we had in the shop, let alone taste the same. Hallelujah! I finally found a pizza joint in eastern Hillsborough County worth a flip! This place was recommended by several over the past few months and we finally got around to visiting. If you're looking for authentic, New York style pizza, this is the place! On the inside, the place doesn't look like much. It's a little dated/run down, but there are pinball machines and some 80's Atari's arcade games. The wait staff and other employees were very friendly. We go a large meat lovers pizza. Huge portions and lots of toppings. We also ordered two drinks. The drinks are unlimited, but the refills are behind the counter, so an employee has to get them for you. The place looked clean, and when we were done, the staff came out and cleaned up the table (there aren't any trash cans out on the dining room floor). The pizza itself was great! Not too greasy, it wasn't burnt on the bottom, and the meat toppings were delicious. I will say that it was about a 15 minute wait, which isn't too bad, but when you're hungry it seems like forever! All in all, we've finally found our "forever" pizza joint. Great place! read more

For my family, that joint is the independently owned and operated New York Times Square Pizza in Bloomingdale Square. New York Times Square Pizza has a straight forward and basic menu which allows them to focus on the good stuff. I recommend ordering from the Gourmet portion of the menu and let them do the work of picking toppings. The Time Square Special with Pepperoni, Sausage, Onion, Green Peppers and Mushrooms is as easy and delicious as they come. I like to order either the Mediterranean (with Kalamata Olives, Pepperoncini and Feta) or their version of a simple Margherita. My son prefers the Philly Cheese Steak (with Cheddar from the can) or the Hawaiian. I happen to be a fan of thinner crust pies with abundant toppings done a bit long in the oven so the bottom has that slightly burnt crispiness. But not too well done as it is important to be able to fold the slice and eat it with one hand. Yuuuum ... I am getting hungry just writing this! As regulars, we have also enjoyed other items from the menu. Need to feed an army or want plenty of leftovers? ... try a Calzone or Stromboli. As a side dish the Garlic Knots are buttery and come with a cup of sauce for dipping. For a pizza place, they also make a pretty good Philly style cheese steak and their wings are crispy and flavorful, especially as a side dish. The drink menu is limited to the soda fountain or bottles for delivery. They offer both delivery and booth service and have a few tables outside for when you find yourself a little peckish and need a slice while doing some back-to-school or holiday shopping at The Square. Weekly specials include Ten Buck Tuesday, where you can get any large Gourmet pie for a ten-spot and the Friday twofer of two one-topping pizzas for $19.99. On top of all this they have been known to host game nights for families and to inflate a screen out front for movie night. The 3.5 Star review on Yelp immediately left me skeptical, but because there were so few reviews I decided to roll the dice. Well, surprise surprise!!! Not sure what other people have encountered, but from the time I walked in, till the time I finished my food, the overall experience was top notch. The girl at the front was super friendly and accommodating, and the food itself has now made this place my number one in the Brandon/Valrico/Bloomingdale area. Incredible crust on the pizza to go along with the fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked pie. Just so happens that they were also running a special the night I was there for a large pizza with the works for $12, BEST DEAL IN THE AREA. Also got an X-Large cheese pie, and for giggles, a Philly Cheesesteak. Can't begin to reiterate how great everything was (okay, only complaint was that the Cheesesteak was a little small, but it was only around $5, so I couldn't be that upset).
