We came in the last hour of this spot being open, and it was wildly busy. They made our food pretty quickly though they were sold out of onion rings. Seating is pretty limited in this small space, but we still got a table. I thought my sandwich was fine, not great. My husband did not enjoy his at all. We also got fries, which were just OK. Service was decent--didn't stand out in either direction. I think I'd come back to give something else a try, but it would be without my husband since he was not a fan.

Shame on me for not coming here soon. What a gem. The subs are fantastic. The service was amazing. It is quite small and completely packed and deservedly so. My husband and I got the steak+ everything, the turkey and bacon, and fries/onion rings. Every single bite was delicious. The steak sub was slightly spiced, rich, well seasoned, and with some specs of crunch given the onion and pickles. Divine sandwich. The bacon was spectacular and the bread was soft. The fries and onion rings were crispy too. Great price. Great portions. Without a doubt, we're coming again.

A family operated, reliable, and tasty lunch spot! Ordering online is a breeze, making for a quick and delicious lunch break pickup. I stop in once a week, and the quality is very consistent. I was planning to try their hot items before I reviewed, but the Italian sandwich is so good that I give into temptation and get it every time. Now, go have a sandwich, and get it with the works!

What can I say, but again and again I have come here over the years. I don't live close, but I make it a point to come when I am in the vicinity. Awesome family run business, great food, and delicious fry sauce. One of my personal favorites is the Ham and Cheese dipped in fry sauce: freakin bomb. Don't knock it till you try it. Thanks for never changing and always keeping the passion for great service. I can't wait to come back. Thank you for serving our community.

I've been eating here since I was a kid. They always make a great sandwich and have the best onion rings in the state.

I had the American Wagyu Cheesesteak. It was pretty good. The bun was fresh. I think not as delicious as Moochie's, but it could be because it was American Wagyu. Just didn't enjoy the flavor as much as i did with Moochie's. Very worthy to spend your buck, though. Other offerings on the menu sounds great. Wow. This new Creamery has really upgraded the experience. Same great ice cream, but more workers mean the lines move faster. Same grill. Same grocery except it is larger and more a legit complete grocery store. Some departments are smaller than a regular grocery store, like the produce section, but still offers plenty. The outdoor patio seating is great. Heating lamps for cold days and they have misters installed for the hot days. Nice lights for evenings and nights. Parking is still a big challenge. More parking, but it is very narrow between the rows. I didn't park my truck there because of it. But parking is accessible at the Music School across the street for a very easy walk. At this visit I had the raspberry cream cheese--it was really good! And of course, I had to buy two bottles of Cookies and Cream milk to take home. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I'm in visiting from out of town and a friend mentioned two restaurants, one a pizza joint, the other a cheesesteak place...obviously I went with the cheesesteak place! I'm picky, especially when it comes to cheesesteak sandwiches...so I had elevated expectations with the place coming so highly recommended. Stepping inside, I was already pretty sure this was going to hit some high marks...it smelled good...it wasn't a "hole in the wall", but it had that vibe aside from being clean. Staff was nice, I explained I was a first timer and they walked me through the popular items, but I already knew I was going cheesesteak with everything on it. It was late and I didn't want to engorge myself so I went with the 6" instead of the 12" and got the fries with it. OK...they know what they're doing here...it came out wrapped in brown paper with sandwich paper (is there even such a thing...there is now) and it was steaming hot. I pulled back the paper exposing this beast of a sandwich...12" would have been too much (at least that's what she said. The cheese was melted throughout the steak...oh my God, this is the only way these should be made. The meat was lean, no grizzle or bad spots, they trim it perfectly for flavor and texture. Mushrooms, onions, peppers...and awesome bread, it was perfect and the first taste confirmed my beliefs! This IS the perfect cheesesteak sandwich and I'm not in Philly...how? One disappointment...the fries are coated...I'm not a fan of coated fries and almost never eat them. I usually ask, and pass if they are, but forgot to this time. I wasn't going to waste them...surprise, they were pretty damn good. I'll give them. 7.5 out of 10 and that's a solid score. So how do I score the Philly cheesesteak...9.9999 because does a true 10 exist outside of Bo Derek, well, maybe Phoebe Cates...Fast Times at Ridgemont High changed my life! So, don't kid yourself, you won't find a better cheesesteak...better get your butt over there and confirm what I already know! I will be back next time I'm in town! Sorry about not having the picture!

The meat was good, the peppers and onions were good the wiz was good the roll was good. Tasty sandwich. I am spoiled by Frankie's south Philly's Cheesesteak in Tucson, which was about as authentic as you can get out side of Philadelphia. They ship their hoagie rolls from a Philadelphia bakery. And the way Frankie's puts their cheesesteak together is divine. This was just a half a hair under, it was so good. And it was so big and packed with meat. I couldn't finish this 6 incher. And it is very thoughtful that they provide a plastic fork and several napkins. Moochie's also has several sauces: jalapeño, chipotle, and Ranch maybe? Anyway, they threw in a bunch--and I mean a bunch--of jalapeño sauces and a couple of chipotle sauces. All in all, 7 sauce containers. The sauces are really good. Hardy and full of flavor. It is so tempting to eat this Philly with the sauce and I did for a few bites and really enjoyed it. But the flavor of the sandwich was so good, I didn't want to spoil it. This location on State Street seems a bit older and a hair tired, but still comfortable. There is enough parking and it is easy to get to. The service was pleasant and friendly. I definitely recommend Moochie's. I'll be back to try their sides. That, after all, is an important part of having a Philly cheesesteak. (Frankie's had killer sides.) 5* = A top favorite. I wanted to find a traditional French boulangerie in SLC but did not see one, Zut alors!…read more I know Paris Baguette is a chain and has an Asian twist so we decided to visit on Saturday morning before driving back to Boise. It was early, and it was already busy. TIPs & TRICKs Follow the rules: Get the tray, then the wax paper liner, then use the individual wax papers at the stations to grab what you want. While you're doing that, pay attention to the pricing, because it can add it. To see the plain butter croissants empty already was shocking, but when we told the employee she came back to not only stock it but came to us first and let us pick which ones we wanted off the tray That was very nice The pain du chocolat looked good and were lacking in depth and flakiness of the crunch The Chausson aux Pommes - was really good - They could have used another minute or two in the oven to get that golden brown. They were looking like the pastly white guy at the beach while everyone else had a tan The mochi Dubai Chocolate donut was very good. The total was almost fifty bucks.... I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good. I didn't try the coffee but if they ever show up in Boise metro area, I would check them out to see if they match up with SLC.
