This is the best hot pot I've had in the valley so far. There is a huge variety. It is one pot per table, but you can get it. Split into two or three broths. I think the drinks were included. You could make cotton candy. There was scoop your own ice cream, etc.. if it is someone in your party's birthday and there's at least three others besides the birthday person and you have proof of a birthday that exact day---they eat free

Food 5/5 Service 2/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Value 4/5 I love trying all the hot pot spots! Happy Lamb is definitely on my top 3. Their meat is good quality compared to other hot pots, they also have an amazing lamb shank which I love. It used to also be all you can eat but they have recently created a limit per person. They have delicious sides and desserts. The biggest downfall is the service, I've been millions of times for the food but the servers are always rude and never around to help so that's their biggest downfall.

Wow what an interesting experience!! It felt a little bit like a fever dream. I feel like when you go here you're paying for the food but also for the experience itself, and I had so much fun with it! I feel like I'm not the target audience for the food since I'm not a huge fan of soup or certain meats. When we arrived, it was PACKED. We had a group of 15 on a Saturday night, and they actually got us seated fairly quickly. As soon as we sat down, they started asking us what we wanted. We told them we had just sat and had some who had never tried this and needed a minute. They came back pretty quickly and asked us again. We told them we still needed a minute. Once we decided, they were quick with the service. We had two tables with two hot pots each. You get to pick the soup you want as a table. They also have a couple of different options for the meat which is mostly unlimited. The whole table has to choose the same option, and we went with the premium. You can order as many of the meats as you'd like which is nice especially with a big group. I particular enjoyed and would highly recommend the lamb shank. Other than that I wasn't the biggest fan of the food. They bring the soup and most meats to the table, but they also have a buffet with additional items such as noodles and vegetables. They also have a few additional meats as well as hot items and desserts available at the buffet. In the buffet, they also have their drink options. They have a soda machine, but it is Pepsi. They didn't offer Diet Pepsi. They did have Pepsi zero sugar which was pretty good and it's nice to be able to fill it up as much as I'd like. They also had some milk teas and juices with boba on the side. For dessert, they had some different things out on the buffet. They also had a cotton candy maker and place to scoop your own ice cream. I was impressed with how clean they kept the buffet especially with the number of people in the restaurant. The floor under the table where I was sitting was pretty sticky but not visible dirty. The bathroom floor was a little slick. Overall, I would say this was a super fun experience especially with a big group. It was a great place to celebrate my friend's birthday. It did end up coming out to about $50 a person after gratuity. Personally for me, it felt like more than it was worth, but I still think it's a fun experience worth trying.

I've never been to a restaurant like this before, so it was a fun and interesting experience. I will say, it was a little overwhelming since it was a busy night. Service was friendly-ish, we had a big group and we weren't all sure what we wanted to do, they explained the menu to us but we felt a little rushed. We ended up choosing the vip section of meats and it all was pretty good. The Buffett was stocked up with so many different options. They had a cotton candy machine which was fun to do! Overall we had a good experience but I don't know if I'd be returning anytime soon.

the quality of their meat is amazing & we loved how big the portion sizes were! only had to order meat once the entire visit. the broth was super flavorful. their hot food bar was great too, lots of different things to choose from, we were impressed with their seafood boil. they have self-serving soda, teas, icecream and cotton candy, loved all the variety. clean & inviting environment. happy lamb has become our new favorite hotpot joint

The broth was really flavorful. The meat was yummy. The service was nice. The place was very very clean. I loved the ambience. It smelled so good in here and the milk. Tea was absolutely amazing. If you come here you have to get milk tea not to mention it's completely included with the cost of your meal.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I heard a lot of good things about it and finally went to give it a try. AMAZING!! So clean, so organized, and such a fun experience. They have 2 options: premium and non-premium. We went with premium because it had more meat choices. We also did the double broth. Worth it! They have so many vegetables, seafood, and noodles to add into your broth as well. They also had different sides and a drink area. They even had make-your-own cotton candy- so unique. The staff were nice and friendly and helped us with it being our first time. My only con with this place is that I wish they had more meat options for the non-premium option. Other than that, we will definitely be returning!

Top 2 is lamb, bottom is beef.

We had a great experience at Happy Lamb. The lamb definitely lived up to the name, we loved it. All the meat tasted so fresh and high quality, service was friendly and fast. We had lunch on a weekday so there wasn't many occupied table and we felt like that's the perfect spot to enjoy our meal but also don't get neglected at a typical AYCE. The space is clean, well lit, not too loud. The restroom is clean and has a changing station, which is great for family.

We've been here a few times, and each time it has been delicious. The service is friendly, and there is a variety of choices between raw food to add to the pot, dim sum, and desserts. It's nice and definitely my favorite all you can eat place in Salt Lake.

Let me start off by saying I personally dislike lamb. It's too gamy for me. But my family decided to go here for dinner. The service was really attentive and friendly. Fairly helpful as well. We started off with 'Best of Three' broth, Original Marrow Broth, Golden Cabbage Marrow Broth, & the Mushroom Broth! I'd have to say my absolute favorite is the Golden Cabbage Broth, it was rich and had a little spice to it! We then got the premium All You Can Eat! The meat options were more appealing. The buffet set up was nice had all the basic veggies, sides, and warm foods available along with a drink station where it's fairly customizable! I mixed Lychee with the Milk Tea. The sauce station was very organizaed and clean!

Nice big places - lots of tables. What made this place stand out amongst other hotpot places is their selection of sides. They had a lot of hot and ready to eat dishes that were served buffet style. I really enjoyed that food! When it came to the soup flavors, I personally did not enjoy it. The flavors are definitely unique and I'm sure is very tasty to lots of people, just not me. However, their service was good and food was good quality! No complaints but just not for my taste buds :)

This is definitely one of the best hot pot in the city. There are different tier that you can order from. I got the VIP since I was one person. This was more than enough for me. I had the double broth - original marrow and tomato. Both were very flavorful. All of the meats and vegetables were fresh. No tablet ordering here but the server stopped by to check on me every so often so I wouldn't have to wait if I wanted to order more meats. The buffet items were well stocked and I like the variety of drinks available. Lots of sauces to choose from. Would highly recommend.

The look of the restaurant inside has changed a few times. when I was there last there was a casual seating area at the back of the restaurant. There were people there waiting for takeout orders. I really enjoyed the great chow mein with the beef. Next time I might try it with chicken or pork because the beef was a little hard to chew for my liking. The noodles tasted delicious and flavorful. I always have to order the cold cucumber salad. It is a great accompaniment to any dish. I added the peanuts to the cucumbers because I really like them together so if you order the cucumbers, they will not come with peanuts. It is a strange request, but they accommodated me with no problem. They had a case at the front of the restaurant with grapes and strawberries, skewered and coated in a crunchy sugary coating. It was a little bit messy, but I did not mind because it tasted so good. The strawberries were super sweet, fresh and juicy with a thin, sweet crunchy shell. I will try the grapes next time. Thank you for the delicious food

We stumbled upon Great Wall and gave it a shot. The inside was a little different in a weird way. There was only three tables in the front and the back had a lounge area. I believe there were more tables hidden behind the curtain. We ordered: Fried rice - the corn in the fried rice tasted almost spoiled Beef brocoli - the beef was tender but not as tasty or fresh Garlic ribs - cut into small portions was not what I expected and a little dry Only great was the service and those fruit on a stick in the glass counter. The high prices was not worth it.

A lot of the food like beef and broccoli and orange chicken look like it was the last serving or two a young lady came in after me and once we put our servings of each food, the owner then had to cook I was kind of disappointed because the beef and broccoli sounded amazing, but the actual look of it wasn't really appealing. The noodles were kind of flat, not like what I'm used to more rounded egg noodles. The fried rice had ham in it and I don't eat pork. They had a lot of different options. Shrimp was included. Teriyaki beef what they called. And extras were the wonton, sesame balls, veggie eggrolls, etc... I took my main side as noodles, then sides as beef and broccoli, beef teriyaki, and tempura shrimp. They asked at the end if you want Sawsan they add it to your compartment you pay roughly $11 and change. I like the noodles I didn't love them, beef and broccoli was good. Probably would've been better if it was fresh. The shrimp was pretty tasty with the side sauce. Kind of reminded you sweet honey and walnut temporary shrimp that you get from other places. Just without the walnuts and the sauce on the side, which is pretty nice because sometimes you can get too sweet. The fried beef teriyaki, absolutely not. That was by far probably the worst thing I've tasted. The meat did not taste like meat. I ended up taking a bite and throwing it out. Honestly, I think if you can get the food super fresh when they put it out it probably taste a lot better so that's why I gave it three out of five stars. One for the customer service, two for most of the food being decent, and three for the simplicity of putting whatever you want basically self-serve.. Until next time, happy yelping

This tastes like mom's kitchen if mom had a high flamed gas stove. The dishes that benefited from that smoky hot wok flavor had it. I was so excited to eat I forgot to take pics of all the dishes at the table. Green beans with garlic was so tasty, I finished the leftovers the same night, I remembered to take a photo in the takeout container. The cauliflower (I don't know the actual name but it's stir fried, spicy and comes with peppers) had wok hei and I couldn't stop eating it. Beef rolls is the sophisticated auntie of the scallion pancake. Think of it like an asian burrito with thin sliced beef, fresh scallion and cilantro, and a touch of hoisin all hugged together with a crispy tasty scallion pancake. The shredded potato tastes like the best potato salad that isn't your picnic potato salad. The shredded potatoes were quickly blanched then stir fried preserving the crunch and crispness similar to al dente pasta. Seasoning was on point. The homiest flavor came from the stewed short rib. The rib pieces were braised in a soy and star anise sauce like what you find in Taiwanese beef noodle soup. The peels potatoes were cut rustically and just cooked through and not mushy. Authentic flavors and freshness like this is so so hard to come by. I can taste the quality of the ingredients used. One tip I have for selecting authentic food is by looking at the customers. If the customers are all Asian eating at an Asian restaurant, you know the food is going to be good. Service was 10/10, waitress was super polite and stopped by to chat with us about the food and SLC. I am from out of town but I grew up eating at NYC Asian restaurants and this is as good as if not better.
