    Sweet potato fries

A mixed experience at East Coast Wings. More than a 2 hour wait for a table because of reduced seating capacity so decided to place an order to go. Only after ordering and payment did I learn that it would take 45 minutes for the to-go food. To-go orders are placed at the bar and the bartender was surly. Told me I wasn't able to use a discount coupon and pay with a gift certificate and that I couldn't use more than one gift certificate per visit. I'm all about following the rules, except these are rules that aren't on either the coupon or the certificate. Tore up the discount card and sweet talked use of the gift certificates. The food, once finally got it was very good. Crispy wings in just-hot-enough medium buffalo sauce. An even mix of wings and drums. House made chips that are firm and crunchy, lightly salted. Sweet potato waffle fries kind of limp, but pretty good after warmup in the air fryer at home. Based on the quality of the food I'll give them another try. I think I'll avoid sitting at the bar.

The receipt from our order showing the missed items.

Synopsis: Wanted wings and tenders and found a place to never get wings and tenders from again. My girlfriend and I wanted to try a new spot for our refuel day and found East Coast Wings + Grill as a place we hadn't tried before. She ordered online which was painless and quick although that's where things stopped being positive. When she arrived to pick up the order she was informed that someone else had picked up our food and that she would need to wait for the food to be remade. The staff did offer $10 off the next order for the inconvenience and my girlfriend decided to stay and wait it out. It took a bit but eventually the food was given to her and she was able to leave, approximately 20 minutes after originally arriving. I've attached pictures of what I ordered. The main item for me was the chicken tenders which were frankly awful. They were supposed to be medium buffalo tenders and had no flavoring on them whatsoever. I also requested ranch to dip the tenders in of which there was none. They were dry and hard to get through and ended up getting tossed before I could even finish it. The pretzel bites were better but only marginally. The salt was all in piles in the container and very little actually on the bites themselves. There was also no honey mustard with those even though the order called for that. The fries weren't terrible but they were not fresh and capped off an overall terrible experience. My girlfriend's experience was similar to mine with her fries and her boneless wings but having hair in her meal really sealed the deal and ensured we won't ever go back. I hate to leave reviews like this but it was one slap in the face after another and made the one day in the week we can relax our diets miserable. 1 Stale Sauceless Star out of 5!

Very mixed review from me - first time ever eating at any East Coast Wings. I placed an order at the bar, ordered 10 wings total. Decided to run to ladies room while waiting - omg. The ladies room had two stalls. One toilet was 100% clogged, the other had something all over the toilet seat...I did not use the restroom. Waited about 15 minutes for my wings. The overall atmosphere of this restaurant is very low brow, almost a trashy feel? The employee who rang me up was pleasant but the general feel in here was not a good one. The whole place had a dirty, sticky kind of element. Monday is a special on wings, they are $.75 each. I got 5 garlic Parmesan dry and 5 teriyaki garlic ginger dry. Got home with order and it looked to me as though the TGG wings were wet, maybe they can't prepare them dry? I don't know. Wing flavors were good. Just not sure I'd eat from here again - the cleanliness issue really bothered me and the order possibly being wrong (wet wings not dry) was a bummer. Bottom line - there are other places to order wings and/or carry out from that get better reviews and I feel more confident in their cleanliness standards.

Wings in the age of corona. Placed an order for 50 various wings online, started driving the 50+ minutes up here (it's the closest to my friend, and we love us some ECW). Found out 30+ minutes in that my card was rejected. Womp. This was _not_ ECW's fault, but it's part of the story. We get there, and we're waiting outside a solid half hour after that point before the wings come out. That's a bit unfortunate, but since my card was the issue, I don't want to to come down hard on ECW. Well, when the wings finally came out, classic ECW. They didn't throw any bonuses in for our trouble - that wasn't expected but perhaps would have been a nice gesture. The blue cheese is not chunky homemade sauce. It's salad dressing. Forgo it, save yourself the trouble. Unfortunately, that cost part of the missing star here. My volcanic bourbon honey mustard wings were epic. They were as hot as I could handle over 15 wings, good to the last bite, amazing sauce. I think I created a new favorite wing sauce, and I've had a lot of wing sauces in my life. The wings are always 5 stars at ECW, no exception here. Someday, I'll be back, the restaurant will be open, the menu will be full (hello dessert), and I can come reevaluate how many stars I want to leave. A strong 4 for now.

We were quickly seated near entrance. Waitress came quickly to take our order . Noted staff at door were not very busy so they were bouncing a ball and hanging out chatting and laughing at tables next to us. Food came fast and was very tasty. Our waitress was very good. She said it was her first day. Makalla was very good. Restaurant was not busy on a Saturday at 730 pm. Gave 3 star due to food was only slightly warm for as fast as it came out it must have been already cooked and waiting and all the staff hanging out at by the front desk next to our table.

Food: 4 Service: 5 Ambience: 4 Date/Time: 8/2/2017 2:30pm Order: Wings, Sweet Potato Waffle Fries Crowd: 1 other table taken Had a need for an appetizer midday and saw this place, but was a little hesitant with the rating. After reading a few, it was a consistent "good food but not great service" kind of thing so figuring as long as the food was good, what the heck! Glad we made the stop as the service was excellent with lots of attention and a very friendly server! And, the place was clean and neat looking with plenty of space. And, yes, the food was good! The waffle fries came with a sweet cinnamon-y dipping sauce but with the sweetness in the sweet potatoes, it got a little too sweet dipping it in the sauce. Wings were also tasty and so were the standard fries.. had a crunchy coating. If you're out in the Wake Forest area, give it a try... I thought it was great!

The food is usually good. But don't order it to go. You'll likely not get all you ordered for a two person meal. Best to eat in.

Lonerider was very accommodating and accessible for both humans and dogs. Let's talk about beer and cocktails. As I was DD, you'll have to take my spouse's word for the beer. He enjoyed a couple of IPA's on the menu, and they very kindly made me a mocktail for half the price (which I'm grateful for as the drive back to Northern VA is kind of long, and I don't need to get pulled over with two newly adopted beagles already scared for their lives.) The outlaw extra menu, which is made up of specialty kegs on tap, also had a good variety on it. The big screen with all the different beers currently available is pretty cool. And I like that there's a fridge stocked up with take home beers, too. Plenty of parking outside. The beer garden was packed full of people and dogs and pop-up shops, still with room to sit and enjoy a beer or two. Inside there was plenty of seating and room to move around without stepping on any paws. I love that a portion of the proceeds from these events always goes back to TriBeagles, and I'm thankful for local businesses supporting these precious dogs in finding homes by providing event space. I wish we lived closer, Lonerider. We'd be here all the time.

I was impressed with so many of them, that I knew I had to make the journey from Raleigh to Wake Forest. On a chilly Saturday afternoon, I took the lone remaining seat at the bar. The service was incredible friendly (Cheers!) and they let me try 4 samples, which was very much appreciated. My favorites were the Juicy January and and the Yellow Submarine, both are Hazy IPAs. The JJ had hints of creamy pineapple in it, refreshing without being too light. The YS tasted a little more balanced, a really good all around beer. The Where I Belong was also good, this one leaned a little more towards West Coast, but it didn't have a strong piney taste like a lot of West Coasts can. I even noticed hints of caramel in it as well, which helped to counter the hops. There are several TVs and they'll put on just about any game you request. Also if you're into pumpkin beer, try the Pumpkin Amber when it's around. It's a Top 3 pumpkin beer that I've ever tried, and I've tried at least 25.
