I've yet to make a bad to selection at Longhorn. This time around, I had the chicken and ribs combo which was nothing short of delicious with a matching loaded sweet potato coupled with a creamy side of mac n cheese! To wash it all down, I had a dragonfruit margarita to wash it all down after savoring one of my favorite meal combinations!

This was my first time going to LongHorn in years and I had a positive experience. I decided to order the lemon garlic chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and I highly recommend for anyone who doesn't have a big appetite. The salad was just okay. Our waitress was super kind and very fast bringing everything we needed out.

Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip

Update from April 27th- Immediately sat down & enjoyed the Parmesan spinach dip for an appetizer with no wait! We both ordered lamb chops & was too full to eat all of it but was seasoned well. The highlight was the Brussel sprouts! Goodness! They were yummy

Went for lunch and had a sirlon steak and loaded. baked potato. The steak was average in both taste and chew. The potato was decent. No waiting to get seated. Server was efficient and friendly. Warm bread was also average.

12/24/24: We stopped by to get a bite to each for lunch. It was our first visit. Unfortunately, the hostess left much to be desired. She was NOT friendly at all. There was no one else waiting & she was near the bar area just lollygagging. She acted like we were interrupting her when she came to thr podium. She didn't speak. She just looked at us and I told her it was 2 of us. She TOLD us to follow her & she took us to our booth. She didn't say anything else. She just walked away. We still looked over the menu when I was already turned off just to give them a chance. We didn't see anything that appetizing to still give them our business. As we walked out, our waiter was walking towards us. He was more friendly and told us to have a Merry Christmas. That is the only reason they are getting 3 stars. I can't speak on food. The service of the hostess ruined our visit. We won't be back.

The food was delicious. The waitress was ok. If you have not tried the firecracker chicken roll ups you need to. They are awesome

Strawberry & Pecan Salad

I went to a Longhorn Steakhouse in Orlando a few months ago. It was pretty good so we decided to try this one tonight, while we were in Raleigh. We used the "Waitlist" function for this restaurant to cut down our wait time. It worked well since this restaurant was pretty busy. I had a nice 6oz Steak that was cooked to perfection (the way I ordered it - Medium Rare) with a Baked Potato and side salad. My son had a New York that he really liked and his girlfriend ordered a Strawberry Pecan Salad (the salad was really large) We had a very attentive server who really looked after us. Overall nice experience with good food!!

I've been wanting to try Longhorn after I saw the hysteria about the lamb chops. I asked my friend to accompany me since she had never been also. I went online to see about making reservations, they didn't allow but you could join the waitlist and I'm glad I did. The waitlist stated about 15-20 mins, once we arrived they stated about 15 minutes, we went to the bar to have a drink. Our waitress Jazmin was very nice, I could tell she was very busy. We started off with the shrimp and peppers appetizer, it was nice and hot and very good. I opted for the Parmesan crusted lamb chops that come with spinach and mashed potatoes and one other side, I chose broccoli. I was a little thrown off when our server asked if I wanted it soft, asked her to explain. She stated they would steam twice, I said no. I like my broccoli to have some crunch, but it was overcooked. The lamb chops were delicious, a little too much cheese for me but the spinach was the best thing on my plate. My companion ordered the full rack of ribs sauce on the side. The ribs looked as if they could have been placed under the broiler for about ten minutes, they also lacked seasoning. She stated the corn was good, and the baked potato was also good. I will go back to try a steak. The place was very busy for a Monday night, it's a large restaurant, very nice relaxed atmosphere.

Shrimp skewers asparagus and rice

Always a good time! No fuss no muss for a quick bite...which turned into being there for over an hour. Service was great. Food was good!! Shrimp were cooked just right! (I abhor overcooked tough shrimp...dont you?) Hubs ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. Mac and cheese was ok...needed a teensy bit more cheese. But overall GOOD EATS!

Came here today with my mom and sister for lunch and it didn't go well. There were very few people…read morein the restaurant yet it still took 26 minutes for my cup of french onion soup to come out. The cheese on top was melted but the soup itself was room temperature. My sister got the aloha bowl and loved her dish. My mother unfortunately got the soup like me and we both asked for it to be heated back up. 11 minutes later the waitress returns with our soups now piping hot yet turned to complete mush. The toast in the top just disintegrated and the soup was now inedible. We asked that the soups be taken off the bill and we'd find somewhere else to eat. After that it still took another 20 minutes just to get our bill. We spent an hour here and walked out hungry and unsatisfied. I didn't have high hopes for TGIFridays but soup should've been easy. More people arrived by the time we left and it appeared they were severely understaffed. Our waitress had to make drinks, serve other tables, as well as play hostess so I wouldn't even blame it on her. She was nice enough to take the soups off our bill. Needless to say we won't be coming back.

Our Women's group planned a Friday Brunch for 25 at TGI Friday's in White Oak Garner. I called on…read moreThursday to give Management the heads-up that we were coming. I spoke with Kevin and he mentioned that we were welcome but advised that they were operating on a reduced staff. What's new right?! That's the nature of the beast at most restaurants right now. Anyway he asked that we exercise patience and I said no problem. When we arrived we were told we would have to wait for our server to arrive so we weren't seated at 1130a. We were seated about 1140 at 3 booths and 4 tables put together but all in the same area close to the kitchen. Amena was our server and she quickly came to get our drink orders and appetizers. We ordered the fried green beans. They were hot and tasty when they arrived at the table. Oh I mentioned to Amena we needed separate checks and she said no problem. Shortly after the appetizers those who ordered Salads received them...then entrees started coming. I'm estimating the time seated to the entree was about 40 minutes! For 25 guests that's great in my opinion. To my knowledge everyone received their entree with no issues and I started hearing comments..."this is good..."this is delicious". Impressed that the food was neatly plated and didn't look sloppily thrown on the plates. I don't recall getting a beverage refill or seeing any...but I was too busy eating. Now we're finishing up and Amena without asking is offering takeout containers. Portion size was pretty large for lunch...so several were taking out leftovers. We got our bills and of course that took awhile...but they were accurate and included a service fee...I think 18%. But we all left nice tips for Amena because she did an exceptional job serving 25 guests with very minimal issues. Personally I was not expecting such great service after speaking with the manager. It was a welcomed pleasant surprise. Also we weren't the only guests in the restaurant. We absolutely loved the decor in TGI Friday's. Beautiful warm and festive with nice backdrops and lots to look at. It appeared fresh and clean. Restrooms were nice too. Great visit today! Best server!
