There were other shops that wanted to charge me double and even triple for what Import Auto Services did for me. One company I wouldn't recommend going to unless you have lots a money or only own a Mercedes or BMW is "Minsky Mercedes." When I asked why they charge so much more, there answer was quote, "Our name suggests we specialize in BMW and Mercedes, we can work on other makes but it would be the Euro pricing." Unquote. Doing our routine vehicle inspection before sending our most expensive truck back into the field…read more Key turns, engine starts and all chaos ensued. Loud noises we've never heard before. Shut off the engine and while looking under the front bumper, OUT FALLS A RAT!! Sharpe Automotive was our first call. Dean Sharpe dropped everything, showed up in less than 10 minutes and explain what happened. The rat made a home in our filter housing. When we started the engine, this little guy must have been pulled into the belt. Engine cooling fan blade assembly damaged, with one blade broken and another blade cracked. The fan-clutch wiring bracket was also broken, and the fan-clutch wiring had been stretched after the broken drive belt became twisted around it. The belt tensioner was broken in half, and the drive belt was broken. Dean, somehow, drove the truck to Sharpe Automotive without power steering and had it back and fixed in less than 24 hours. Such a phenomenal experience we had to make a reel about it. Thank you Sharpe Automotive team. You performed a miracle in a moment we needed it most.
