The furniture is not wearing well (rip in the chair) and there was an empty water bottle left on the floor obviously left by someone & not removed by housekeeping. Overall a disappointment. On the positive side, I think their breakfast was actually better. There was a good selection of hot choices along with the normal cold items. There was an empty water bottle on the floor when we arrived and the furnature and top quilt had discusting stains. The place was not at full capacity but they put, real loud talking people with a child screaming almost all night, in the very next room. Absolute no reason to put them there. There should have been at least one room between guests. I promise will never stay there again.

We stayed here recently on a Friday night after hoping to see air balloons over Letchworth SP. The…read moreinn was easy enough to find since at least the GPS still worked to guide us to the inn. No phone service in most of Letchworth, and no internet access also. If not for the free wifi at the Inn, we'd be lost in space! After a quick tour of the inn in which they also mentioned the future work to be done on another floor of the inn, we turned in hoping to take a hot shower after standing and walking all day in the hot sun. 2-3 mins no hot water in the shower. More time and still NO hot water. Opened the faucet in the sink for over 10 minutes and NO hot water. Went down to ask about it, and nobody was at the desk. No hot shower so went to sleep in a grimy skin. At least the bed was comfortable. There was a ceiling fan and this was the first ceiling fan I've ever seen outside a personal residence, and the blades were clean! But looking around, yes, the place is old and needs a lot of loving attention to detail, as there are scrapes, cracks and peeling something all over. There is dust everywhere and I am allergic to that everything. The hot water is nonexistent tho water pressure was good. Then we wondered IF the plumbing was lead! My wife went down twice for tea and after she left twice, the door popped open all by itself, apparently needing a strong pull to be sure it closes with a click. There is free wifi which helped us greatly in planning for the next day, and as we drove off, in helping us get not lost! We also thought the very light grab and go breakfast was a bit too light, and a nicer sit-down breakfast would have been appropriate, considering the cost of the room. I am sure if they give a bit more attention to the many details of the structure, a decent breakfast and overall the business itself, and the many many rooms, they just may enjoy more occupancy!!

We found this place and they accommodated us despite being late. Plenty of parking for our pickup truck with car hauler. Place was clean and beds were most comfortable I've ever slept in. It was just as represented on the website...very nice. When I questioned what the fragrance was in the cabin, Denise said it was a plug-in air freshener. I asked if she would unplug it, as I was sensitive to fragrances. She opened the closet door (where it was hidden) and unplugged it. She said it was a mouse deterrent, but we didn't give it a second thought. The second night of our stay we were kept up by the sound of mice in the wall starting at 2:30 am. Needless to say we didn't want to stay a third night and lose another night's sleep. When Sean came with the muffins that morning, I spoke to him about the mice and said we wouldn't be staying. He immediately said we would not get any refund. He also said that I had been complaining since I got there!! All I did was ask that the air freshener be unplugged! He said he wasn't going to loose $200 because of a mouse. This was not a rustic cabin by any stretch. It was very nice. You just don't expect mice in the walls. He wasn't interested in making any adjustment at all. Maybe a partial refund? I wonder if they were just plain tired from a long season of renting. I wouldn't recommend staying, unless you sleep well with mice and enjoy the smell of sulphur in your bath water.

This hotel/lodge/travesty should not be advertised on Expedia, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, Travelocity, Hotels.com, Agoda.com or Priceline.com. I am contacting all of them to notify them (already did with Expedia). Therefore if you are reading this review and you still see this hotel on any of these sites, you know for sure what their standards are now, and plan accordingly!

The room was spacious, incredible, and had a small balcony overlooking a pond. The bathroom was perfect and had a walk in shower or bathtub. Chef Dave prepared a great dinner. Everything was fresh and made on site. When we asked about the lamb raspberry glaze, he shared his recipe and gave us a to go order of extra sauce. Great experience if you are looking to relax and re-connect with a loved one.
